It starts citrus with bergamot and orange blossom becoming musky through an intensely floral central stage. A drop in the olfactory ocean.
Custom is a decidedly autumnal and winter fragrance, with its deep notes of incense and spicy notes of apple mixed with a boozy touch.
Not loud, not pushy, not smelly. But quite a delightful, classy leather fragrance with soapy, floral, spicy, and mossy nuances all at once!
Citrus, green tea and blonde woods create the best clean dry amber accord I've ever heard. Gender-free, comfy, velvety and relaxing. A must!
Just arrived today. Woody and musky vanilla, with hints of oud supported by bitter and dark patchouli. Slightly synthetic, yet so damn good!
Just arrived today. Powdery and spicy vanilla, with hints of oud supported by bitter and dark saffron. Slightly synthetic, yet so damn good!
A floral and gourmand delicacy, rich in greedy notes of biscuit cream, white flowers, and fancy vanilla. A must-have for gourmand lovers!
Known by a select few and appreciated by a cult community, quite reminiscent of D&G The One, it starts citrus, with spicy and gluttony amber
It starts pleasantly fresh, aromatic, then slowly changes to a slightly spicy sweet, without losing its freshness. Durability's great on me!
Oldie but a Goldie. Yes, Eden’s Rapport is old, but still is valued or golden. There are smoky incense, spice and a bouquet of floral notes.
So Little Knew, Yet So Extremely Valuable
In the previous post, I told you about some of the perfumes I love, but which last very little on my skin. Today I would like to tell you about some perfumes I did not know, but that have turned out to be surprising. It may have happened to you, too, to read a review, a comment, or a statement of perfume you know and discover that...
So Damn Sublime, Yet So Miserably Ephemeral
Have you ever craved for a perfume, because you read some excellent reviews, because you wore it some time ago, or more just because its olfactory family and the notes that compose it go well with your tastes, and you have ventured a purchase blindly? The desire increases with the wait; the perfume becomes part of your collection;...

Ciao Gian, Thank you for your report with the 3 Avenues - I'm really glad you found them enjoyable :) I myself haven't tried any other than Night and NYC yet (Night got a review, NYC was fresh-modern floral, pleasant enough) but am curious about the other ones, too. I have the feeling the 5th Av. line really may be not too much and neat in a good way. Would love to hear your opinion on further ones!
Stay safe you too, and have a good weekend. Anessa

Hi Elysium, I just saw your comment to my review. Thanks a lot. Luckily, Zoologist allows me to combine my love for animals with some inspirational storytelling that comes to my mind when smelling the scents. Victor's fragrances are the most fun to review.

Ever since I was young, I have always loved to smell great. Cologne head all the way. Now that I am older I still love going to the mall or local shops to smell the latest fragrances. Always looking to make my collection of scents larger :)

Hello Elysium, Thank you very much for your reading and your kind comment on my blog article! I myself do not always write affirmatively about a scent if it left negative impression - frustration, incompatibility - especially failed blind purchases w/o testing opportunity, relying on praising reviews by other people; I then try to add my experience hoping to spare anyone else that might repeat the same mistake I did, only because no one else mentioned anything else than positive things. Still, I try to honestly describe and explain why I perceived something differently and what I personally did not like about it (there are few exceptions like some very low quality "dupes" that really just smelt of chemical liquid). I appreciate reviews sharing sincere feelings and thoughts, as you said, (the same for everything else in life) and find that is what makes a review valuable and authentic. With best wishes to you, Anessa
