Affordable scents do not mean they are worthless

I used to be skeptical and reluctant in the past regarding cheaper and affordable perfumes... but recently I've changed my mind. Thanks to internet I can now search for a scent, find out what notes are in there, where it is produced, and who makes it. Well, I'm not saying that I am neglecting famous brands and more expensive scents, rather I am now more open to test and buy those fragrances you could find in gross marketplaces or outlet. As for famous brands, I usually wait for some testers available on many sites, and I am willing to accept that some bottles will come without the cap.

Hence, I came across very good scent like Ulric de Varen, Marc Antony, and so forth. They are all made in France, most of them use ingredients coming from Grasse, sometimes they are unique and other times they are very similar if not better than famous brand scents.

Last but not least, I even tried spilled perfumes, like those ones produced by Equivalenza, Veressenze, and InEstasy, and I have to admit they smell good, sillage is in the average, and often the longevity is above average like 8-10 hours.

What's your thought about affordable and dupe scents?

Enjoy,

Gianluca
