ZARA Rides the Biggest Waves Ever Surfed - Teahupoo, Pipeline, and Waimea

ZARA is back with 3 brand new scents. This time ZARA takes you on a harrowing ride around the world in search of the world’s deadliest waves: Pipeline, Teahupoo, and Waimea. Each scent's box has a sort of stylized wave embossed and colored with different shades of ocean's green. The bottles within are the same as those recently released for Night pour Homme EDP collection, #Tobacco collection, Winter and Summer collection, just to name a few, yet this time in frosted seaglass color in pastel shades of lime pale green, sea foam light green, and teal dark green.

I quickly tested the three of them at the shop on paper strips and loved them instantly. I seem they are all newbies and not a relaunch of past year scents in a new concentration or bottle, as fresh, citrus, green, impetuous, fiery, and excitable as the names they got, and all appropriate for the looming warm spring and upcoming hot summer. I promise, I will review them soon.

For the time being, please find a picture of the boxes and a brief description of the dangerous waves they are inspired from.

Banzai Pipeline

Located on the North Shore of Oahu, Pipeline is undoubtedly the heaviest and most deadly wave in the world. Hollow and powerful lefts and rights (Backdoor) break just off the beach over a jagged coral reef.

Teahupoo

Regarded as one of the most challenging surf breaks in the world, Teahupoo is located on the southwest tip of Tahiti--the main island of the French Polynesian archipelago. The top-heavy left breaks a half-mile out to sea and mere feet over a living, razor-sharp coral reef.

Waimea

The North Shore of Oahu is littered with world-class breaks, and just down the Kamehameha Highway from Pipeline lays the cove that houses the granddaddy of them all: Waimea Bay. While often overlooked nowadays due to the boom in tow-surfers that favor outer reefs, Waimea is still the measuring stick for big wave spots worldwide.

Stay with me, I will catch you on the flip side.
