Fresh, fruity and tangy
Already in autumn with summery temperatures I bought this fragrance. But I could not make friends with him. It didn't suit me. I liked it, but then again, I didn't. I took it out again the next days and I found out that it was the time of the year why I did not like the fragrance. Now it's a great smell to me. The beginning very fruity fresh and citric, but not too sweet. This note lasts throughout the fragrance. Later the flower scents like freesia, rose and peony are added. I did not smell jasmine. With the citric beginning a perfect thing. The finish is then gently grounded by sandalwood and musk without pressing the fruity/floral beginning against the wall. This is unfortunately the case with some fragrances. I think with this fragrance I made a good grip for the warm season. Fresh, but not like toilet stone and flowery / tart without being crushed. Durability with me about 5 hours. The flacon practical and simple. Fits well into the handbag

I buy fragrances by nose, not by price. My uncle Karl had already beaten into me about 50 years ago, half an eternity ago. He was a wholesaler for cosmetics and hairdressing supplies and his warehouse in the 70s was paradise for me. To his greatest regret, his only child was a son and so he took great pleasure in introducing me to the finer points of cosmetics. So in my cupboard you can find the fragrances of Dior next to so-called "Bückware" from the drugstore.

I always like to test the Spirit fragrances. Unfortunately, I haven't found the ultimate great scent yet. For me the scents of the company somehow smell the same, no matter what they are called or what color they have. Yesterday a test of the new fragrance Spirit of Blooming Delight. Not a bad start. Fresh fruity and citric with a hint of astringency through the black currant. I could have liked that one. Unfortunately a pungent undertone mixed in. It did not thin out so quickly at La Rive fragrances. A bouquet of flowers where you couldn't smell a single scent, flattened the freshness. Then there were the warmer tones like musk, patchouli and cedar wood. Had it not been for the austere cashmere wood, I could have made friends with the scent. But then it was neither fish nor meat, just a disharmonious cloud of scent. Durability with 4 hours quite long. Could have been even longer, but I scrubbed the scent off after a while. It was just a sentence with X

Herb garden
My second new addition this year from YR. Again a fragrance you could call a body spray. It's not as light as some of the other new fresh scents that are gone faster than sound, but it can't compete with old scents like Chèvrefeuille. After an hour the scent is gone. You should also be aware that this fragrance only consists of three ingredients. So do not make high demands. It is and remains a slightly tart scent.

The beginning with tangerine and lemon fresh and quickly the tangerine is also gone again. Lemon stays and the cedar comes. One smells tartly cultivated and nothing more. Since I only ordered a 20ml bottle, you can calculate how long I can get by with it. At the end of the day the scent is not for me. Since it fits well into the handbag it is not bad to have it with you in summer. But I won't buy it again. Unfortunately, YR is getting weaker and weaker for me every year. The fragrances only a Pamsche and the bottles cheapest design where often the foils on it dissolve. It's a pity, but somewhere the company has to save money

Well.....
Again and again I let myself be tempted to order a fragrance from YR. And so this time too. Lately I couldn't get along with YR at all anymore. The company is getting weaker every year. Either nice, simple fragrances that thinned out faster than you can say the name or heavy, opulent, powerful hums that you pull behind you as a fragrance flag. I mourn the times of Eglantine, Ming Shui and Rose Ispahan. For me, the latter fragrance is one of the most beautiful scents of all.

But now on with passion fruit. This time, the extremely simple and matter-of-fact bottle holds more than it looks. Visually, it looks like a cleaning agent from Spinnrad . The content is not bad, but kept quite simple. You should not expect much. It is more a body spray in terms of its lightness. Start immediately with passion fruit and a dash of lemon. But no rinsing lemons, as YR fragrances usually like to have, but softer and more identical. It looks good. Then it goes on with ginger and this tangy-fruity thing goes on and on and after 2 hours you can only guess at it and then it's gone. A fragrance for midsummer, where the air is filled with warmth. But it can also be used in other ways if you don't want to be recognized and just want to smell well-groomed.

I have it and it is also much better than the special edition from last year. We'll see how it performs in the summer, but I won't buy it again because there are better scents for me
