I started gaging...”oh dear god, what the he’ll is this?” I thought to myself after two sprays on my wrist.” How can this be so hyped?” So I put it back into the box and left it to be sold once I had time.

After 2 weeks I just had to try it again just to see if I was out of my mind the first time. This time I went with 1 spray, a bit scared and shocked from the first time. “Ok... somewhat sharp star, definitely smoke in here... definitely birch in here...” I thought and left it on my arm to settle for an hour.
The drydown got a bit sweeter and the sharp start was totally gone and had left a fresh, fruity trace. Now I really started to enjoy it!

For me this has turned out to be a favourite, but only after the first 7-10 minutes. I’m not a fan of the intro, but after that... oh man!
Yes it is A LOT like Creeds Viking (just kidding! Aventus of course), but not the intro, only the drydown. Longevity is around 6-7h for me and projecting for the first 3-4h.

Don’t let the beginning scare you off if you don’t like it at first.

Somewhat polarizing this one. I love it, but I totally understand if you don’t. I also enjoy Terre d’hermes with its bitter/tart orange. This one is sharing that feel, yet still an aquatic feel to it.
Also there are some floral notes in the heart of this one.

I get about 7-8h longevity with 3 solid hours of projection. Not bad for a summer frag!

I wouldn’t recommend this as a blind buy ‘cause it’s not your typical crowd pleaser like Sauvage, Dylan Blue, Versace Pour Homme or other “blue freshies”. If you’re looking for that I would suggest Aqva Atlantiqe or Aqva Marine from this line instead.

I’m gonna start off by suggesting that you should get this one on your skin for a try. Once you’re about to press that atomizer I also want you to for the next hour forget that this is a DB frag. Just put that aside.
I was so sceptical before I tried this on on me (I had once smelled this on paper before) and I must say it really surprised me. There is something interesting here. Liquorice, leather, ginger, wood and some herbs. Yes it is a bit synthetic, but what the hell...
Longevity and sillage is actually not bad. I get about 5h with this one and it projects good for the first 2h.
This is not for everyone tho... but give it a try. Maybe it is for you. Just don’t tell anyone it is DB, they won’t believe you anyway.

This one is an inoffensive, respectful and clean frag that is just perfect as signature scent. Wear it to the office, to meetings or even to wedding... it just works without shouting “HERE I AM!”.

The vetiver is very prominent without being “dirty”. This is a clean vetiver frag, a soapy one.

I prefer this over th EDT alltho that one is fantastic as well. To my nose this is a more fuller version and the edt is more light and citrus.
However I don’t have the need to own both, but maybe you do?

You really don’t need to be brave to wear this one. Don’t let the name fool you.
I say it’s a decent scent and it hardly offends anyone. Just a nice juice with no big attitude. I also think more people would like/wear this one if it wasn’t for the tacky bottle. Especially the ones above 30.
