This is exactly we expect from a TF fragrance.
A devastating beauty, an absolute masterpiece, an olfactory jewel, no more, no less.
How happy im to own a full bottle of this wonderful nectar !!
After sniffing the juice for the first time, i literally fell on my knees...
I was left speechless !!
I couldn't help but sniff the back of my hand over and over...
That's the old TF that we love, one of those unfortunately discontinued fragrances that gave all the charm to the fabulous Private Blend Collection.
Amber, spicy, floral, sweet, addictive, warm, powdery, chic, sexy, mysterious, smoky, suave, languorous, hot...
Words fail me...
It's as if Noir de Noir and Plum Japonais had merged.
A kind of a thousand old and sweet spices, bouquets of flowers that have reached perfect maturity, coupled with a mystical incense, all forming a magical threesome !!
You almost feel even more beautiful, more confident when you wearing this perfume.
Rather strong in the opening, and with a moderate/powerful sillage, almost eternal longevity and absolutely divine drying, it will therefore be completely useless to spray yourself with it excessively.
From my personal opinion, this perfume represents the perfect balance between seductive mystery and pure innocence.
A real olfactory cocktail, i also really appreciate this vintage, mature, almost old-fashioned side in the good sense of the word.
For me, both masculine and feminine, it will be perfect for the cold months, but not really recommended in summer.
One and only regret however, his discontinuity :(
Conclusion: Shanghai Lily, to be reserved only for REAL perfume lovers.
So only wear this gem on rare occasions.

So even for 10 000 bucks, you won't get my bottle of Shanghai Lily :)

Imagine walking quietly on the beach, at the edge of the water...
When suddenly...
The powerful force of the waves reaches you.
It's already too late... You hear, see and feel a BREAKING WAVE breaking down on you like a ton of bricks !!!!
You find yourself buried under 4meters of crystal warm water without being able to catch your breath.
Like a tsunami, a surge of marine, aquatic, salty, mineral freshness... And so on...
It is as if Secretions Magnifiques, Oud Mineral, Profumo and Cool Water had merged x1000.
The most amazing thing is that it's easy to wear, never overwhelming or sickening.
The other thing is that I still can't identify the notes...
I really have no idea what could be in there... A molecule of Calone (chemical formula c10h10O3) with a very marked marine and ozonic smell.
Probably present on the list of "ingredients":
Grapefruit, cedar, watermelon, Ambroxan? I don't know...
So if you are a fan of super powerful aquatic perfumes, with eternal longevity, don't hesitate, this is highly recommended !!
Still, this whole set projects like a beast !!!!
When the drydown comes, I get a creamy, very soft lactone sandalwood, with a nice linearity.
For those who are completely blind from the nose, be very careful on the sprayer. (1 spray filled the room for two days).
In other words, the sillage is overpowering and the longevity is monumental !!!!
I would describe this performances as out of this world, atomic, monstrous...
I wonder what can beat such a perfume in terms of performances...
That's NOT a fragrance for the shy or for schoolboys.
For me, it is a top class perfume, with a very raw smell.
Megamare? A magnificent and very special creation, because by wearing this juice, it is not a wake that you will leave behind you, but a real wave that will crush the people nearby.
If you have a sensible heart, buy Acqua di Gio.
Conclusion: Orto/Naso, the perfumes with the most incredible sillage in the world.

Time has stopped...
Wow effect has started.
There are some perfumes that haunt you at the first sniffles.
And you immediately know that they will enter in your collection.
You don't know them, you test them, you sniff them, you try to interpret, and you stay on the ass so it sticks your nose...
Fantomas from Nasomatto is one of those.
It took me a while to understand the blend of this olfactory concoction.
An explosion, what am i saying... A surging atomic bombardment of a fruity scent like you've never smell before.
Melon is the base of this fragrance, and i would say that this base has been strongly accentuated.
Which leaves me to think that its creator undoubtedly used something other than a simple "melon" molecule...
This set is also reinforced by other synthetic molecules... Ambroxan?
One more time, i can't really describe this perfume because the notes seem so numerous and strange to me.
A kind of tropical Tutti Frutti made with blackcurrant, melon, red fruits, musk, chewing gum, plastic...
At a time ozonic, metallic, radioactive, synthetic, tangy, almost fluorescent, it is a strangely addictive perfume, but never disgusting.
From opening to final drying, you will find that particular soft linearity which has made the reputation of the house.
Once calmed, it smells of carbonated soda filled with chemical dyes.
I love the abstract, quirky, very original side of this perfume because it is very difficult to identify.
Exemplary originality and delirious powerful, it is very different from the rest of the range, and it is for the moment my favorite, already on my wishlist (Yes i know, it's starting to do a lot)...
In short, it's a UFO in the world of fragrances, and that's a lot of good, because currently...
The sillage? Supernatural.
The longevity? Phenomenal.
If you spray it on tissue, expect to live with it for a few days.
I also like Nasomatto and Orto Parisi, this "two-layer" side.
Let me explain: The first is a layer that is difficult to identify, very strong and very linear, the notes of which we can hardly detect.
The second is much wiser and posed, and therefore naturally more identifiable, although just as linear.
Which results in a very, very interesting whole.
Fantomas is a perfume from another world, a true masterpiece of originality, extremely particular and very synthetic, and in my humble opinion there must not be much natural in it.
I could be wrong but i would say that this perfume extract could contain pheromones...
A juice that seems to evolve in a thousand ways but which is nevertheless very linear.
A very addictive perfume made by a virtuoso whose nose is not far from that of an alchemist, and light years away from what is being done lately in perfumery.
Conclusion: If your nose is gradually getting bored with whatever is coming out right now, i highly recommend that you put a nostril on this Fantomas ASAP.
Either you will love it or you will hate it...
Either way, absolutely try it out.
For me, it's love at the first sniff.

First spray...
At the opening, a CATACLYSMIC discharge of fire, spices, smoke, tobacco... All of staggering power !!!!
As if lava and its molten magma were gushing out of the Earth.
The 1st hour is lively, wild, powerful, dry, smoky, dirty, hot, spicy...
This opening reminds me of logs of glowing wood, that smell of suffocating smoke coupled with an overdose of saffron and cumin... Yea yea !!
We really take full nostrils !!!!
A fragrance that makes you feel embraced by all the volcanoes of the world.
Smokiest thing i have ever smelled, oddly addicting from the first sniffles.
A charred Oud, very dry, bordering on vetiver and of monumental intensity !!!!
It also makes me curiously think the smell of dirty underpants... Go figure...
In any case, congratulations to the crazy and wonderfully inventive nose Alessandro Gualtieri for having created this wonder.
Black Afgano's little brother (better and different), with, needless to say, an inhuman sillage and a longevity... NUCLEAR !!!!
Please don't wear this at the office, or you risk to smoke out your coworkers for the whole day.
A single spray filled the room until the next day...
Drying is very dry, resulting in a very smoky sandalwood but softened by all the other notes.
We can finally breathe and appreciate it, a bit like the calm after a firestorm.
If you want my opinion, Black Afgano is very powerful, but this Terroni is still superior to him, although quite opposed.
Advice: Small sensitive noses, beginners... Forget it.
Conclusion: Once again as with his little brother mentioned above, a juice not to be put between all the nostrils... You have been warned.
To be reserved only for very experienced noses.
Already on my wishlist.

Woooow !!!!
The top notes literally jumps out directly in the face !!!!
For an opening it is an opening.
This fragrance will unblock your nostrils !!!!
A very powerful spicy incense, strongly earthy and dosed, as if you were picking up a handful of very black fresh earth, with a background of coffee and spicy dry tobacco that immediately reminds me of the opening of TOM FORD London, in more powerful.
I even recognized Encre Noire by Lalique for a few seconds and its earthy side.
Because this Black Afgano is extremely powerful !!!!
However, i did not immediately perceive the Cannabis note at the opening... Strange.
However, it makes its appearance after 10mins with this characteristic smell of hashish.
Once laid, it unmistakably reminds me TF London.
This dirty, dark, deep, smoky side, almost Gothic in its complexity.
Even breaking it down, i still find it hard to pin down all the notes.
And where the perfume hits the mark, it is that it is not disgusting, and that all these notes blend perfectly without forming a completely disorderly imbroglio.
A very curious and interesting scent that this Black Afgano.
Mix of hashish, spices, tobacco, incense, all slightly oily and very complex.
Nuclear and senseless wake.
One spray will fill an entire room for a whole day until the next day. (I am not exaggerating)
Eternal longevity, and even beyond...
As for drying, we are almost the opposite of opening.
An absolutely divine woody note that i still have a hard time figuring out...
And this is where the beauty of this Black Afgano is, its drying.
All the magic of this perfume lies in its bottom.
The Cannabis calms down after many hours and much softer but very present woody/green/resin/amber notes make their appearances.
I just have the impression that this scent will not appeal to everyone...
It will be difficult to wear for small sensitive noses, and please have a very light hand on the atomizer.
Very original bottle with a very dark but not black juice, and a real wooden cap.
Absolutely beautiful, addictive, bewitching, dirty, deep, complex... Words fail me...
The kind of perfume that will take you a while before you can fully analyze it.
At the same time easy to wear when you appreciate it but so complex in its interpretation that it will give you the impression of discovering new notes every hour...
As for me, it is already on my wishlist.
Only downside: Available only in 30ml.
Conclusion: Unique, Black Afgano is a work of art to discover absolutely. (And especially not to buy blindly)
