The perfect fragrance for winter !!
I don't know where to start, such this fragrance is... Sublime.
With this Vert d'Encens, it's almost Christmas before its time.
One of my favorites from the prestigious Private Blend collection.
This fragrance is close to unique in many ways.
Green, woody, resinous, mystic, smoky, fascinating, addictive...
Probably one of my favorite scents if not my favorite for fall/winter.
All the notes are perfectly mixed and are at no time disgusting.
An enchanting opening, such a warm, resinous pine.
An hour later settles a sweetness and smoke of disturbing precision.
To finish with a beautiful incense on a background of green fir... Fascinating.
A long drying ensues which lasts, which lasts...
Longevity for at least 8 hours on me, with a moderate or even powerful sillage, and this is enough because more would have been unsightly for my taste.
An almost magical scent, not for novices, which some sensitive noses might put off.
There is almost a mystic side to this fragrance.
This juice reminds me of a glass of Absinthe, like the one tasted by Inspector Abberline (Johnny Depp) in From Hell (2001), or even the red embers of a gentle fire slowly being consumed...
The best of the 3 Vert for me.
We are no longer here in the presence of a simple perfume, but rather a beautiful elixir.
It transports you from one place to another, as if you were traveling with a closed eyes...
Vert d'Encens? A contemplative treasure.
A fragrance that will make you feel good, near a fireplace, warm, relaxed, savoring your glass of Hennessy.
One regret however... Mr Ford, why did you discontinued this gem???
We do not give up the Holy Grail.

How to don't fall in love...
Rolling in Love...
The name alone is evocative of what will follow...
The opening is breathtaking.
You get the smooth milky quality of almond and the velvety powder of iris.
It's masculine/feminine but not girly, mature but modern, attractive and very original.
Just the perfect balance between each note.
This juice rolls in love, rolls in lust.
It's sexual, silky, intoxicating, sweet, dominant...
It also gives that impression when you wear it, that you are a king and the others are your minions.
It smells of red velvet, you feel ready to dominate the world around you.
A very beautiful creamy and powdery fragrance, very rich in its complexity.
Very soft at the first spray, it will change after a few minutes to become a kind of milky lotion for the skin, half floral/half powdery.
Unfortunately, and this is where it gets complicated, the smell fades in a few hours...
And you'll need to refresh it often.
The top notes are the best, it smells like a floral, powdery, creamy, milky love garden...
A skin scent without a doubt, with a very good hold on clothes.
It was love at the first sniff for me.
The bottle is sumptuous, like the juice it contains, and enhanced with small sculptures.
Make no mistake, this is a very addicting juice, all perfectly blended.
Oddly enough, the projection and the wake are quite dominant, but that doesn't make it an overwhelming scent.
When i smelled it for the first x i knew it was going to be part of my collection.
It's an incredible scent.
Drying level, it will give you a creamy vanilla with a hint of musk. Disturbing.
Don't wear it anywhere anytime if you want my opinion.
Conclusion: If you like to roll in love, to feel this sweet sensation of seduction, of olfactory intoxication, it will be made for you.
You will feel drunk, and beg for more.
An absolute beauty, in my top 10 fragrances.

A real breath of fresh air !!
There are these scents that you don't notice, these little hidden gems to discover and which one gets drunk afterwards while having a soothing side.
This Annayake Pour Lui (For Him) is one of them.
Not necessarily very well known, it is a remarkably sweet fragrance, far from the current frags.
We find cotton flower, green tea, lotus, bamboo, as well as a touch of tangerine for the citrus side.
I find it uniquely original, which makes it a really interesting scent.
Rather generic, but with a very warm atmosphere.
Soft, fresh, Japanese, mysterious, imbued with a Zen philosophy, it is in my opinion much better than many Kenzo (except the last one of which you will be able to read my review if you haven't already done so), as well as many by Miyake...
Good sillage and longevity.
Remember that this little wonder was launched in 2000 but which for me is still relevant today, and still available in some perfumeries.
So if like me, the current heavy frags strip your nose, refresh them with this very gentle scent.
You would have to be really difficult not to love him.
And the bottle is very original.
Very sober and elegant, all in a very simple way.
A real breath of fresh air that is very, very underestimated.
Zen...

Thumbs down !!!!
Phantom, the perfume for childrens.
Well, what can i say...
Ouch Ouch Ouch, this is worse than i could imagine.
Very synthetic opening. (I am already not far from disgust).
Once again we recognize the DNA and the "paw" Rabanne.
Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion, Juliette Karagueuzoglou, Loc Dong, the Avengers, otherwise called the 4 fantastic of mainstream perfumery...
In short, the fine IFF team is behind this olfactive crap.
Because if these are indeed adults who made the perfume, one wonders who was supervised them...
We tell ourselves that even before smelling, it already smells bad.
This perfume did not leave a very good impression on me, right from the opening...
One of the worst uses for lavender i have ever smelled.
A ton of synthetic Tonka/vanilla/lavender at the opening, too much dosed making the whole almost unbearable and really disgusting.
Personally, i hate these heavy frags of vanilla, Tonka, lavender, sugar on all floors...
So we find ourselves here with notes thrown in a total intergalactic mess.
I really have the feeling lately that all perfumes of this genre are alike.
So, Sir Rabanne, Gaultier etc... Please improve your classics rather than trying to lay us a new cake every time.
This one is unfortunately one more example.
Needless to say, you'll recognize Invictus almost immediately.
A creamy lemon on the opening that ends in a sweet and syrupy smell...
I won't go so far as to say it's a carbon copy of Invictus, but almost.
A sort of mix between Black XS/Invictus if you want my opinion, the praline side in less.
Please don't buy this if you have good taste, and over 18.
In the end, it's too commonplace and boring, and it sorely lacks subtlety.
The kind of juice that will give me a really big headache...
Sillage and longevity in tune with the times, neither too strong nor too little, and it's much better that way.
And this TV marketing...
The brand claims a connected fragrance.
The question is: Connected to what?
The truth is that we are not in the perfume, but much closer to a Disney Land attraction...
As for the "bottle"... All that is missing is an ON/OFF button.
This little robot is cute, but hey...
A mix of R2-D2, of Nono the Little Robot... We don't really know, and we don't want to know it.
And then... Give the name of Phantom while the bottle is a robot... WTF
In short, a deplorable level.
What will this good old Paco do for us in the future? A bottle with the image of the alien from Roswell?
Conclusion: A single merit, the flop, and what to take people for idiots.
We are here in the presence of the olfactory horror of the year.
Mister Rabanne please, a bit of seriousness.
A nice gift for the kid ne to put at the foot of the Christmas tree with a jar of Vivelle Dop gel to play the handsome kid at recess.
Nothing else. This is crap.

Definitely not my style...
So, Jean Paul, we immediately recognize your "paw"...
So this Scandal is, let's say, deja vu.
Neither good nor bad, neither brilliant nor disgusting, but deja vu...
Like we take a bit of what's already been done, and add a pinch of this, a touch of that, to end up with a "new" perfume.
So to me it smells like a million other perfumes, not better, not worse...
It's a bit overdosed for my taste.
A kind of Paco Rabanne 1 Million version JPG...
The opening? A kind of caramelized popcorn very (too) vanilla, sweet, explosive...
Nothing unique though but i expected something else.
So i don't know where the mandarin is, but to my nose it goes completely unnoticed, the opposite of Tonka which is indeed (too) present.
On the whole rather synthetic, chemical, commonplace, boring...
In short, you will understand, nothing new under the sun.
Powerful sillage and strong longevity, however.
It's a shame because Jean Paul has regaled us in the past with beautiful creations.
The bottle is still nice, i like the pompous side of the cap, (plastic), do not dream either.
Conclusion: JPG Scandal, no reason to make a scandal.
