Twice a year the who is who of men's fashion meets at the Pitti Uomo in Florence. Especially in the evenings the streets are usually filled with unusually dressed men and women and the most interesting scents are in the air. In wares Paradise for everyone who has something to do with fashion and perfume. Florence is also a heart of the leather industry in Italy and there are several smaller shops with a wide range of leather products from belts, shoes and bags. You can find various treasures there.

If you stay in Florence in the summer after the fair and walk through the streets, you often catch the smell of freshly tanned leather. Mixed with the typical Acqua di Parma DNA, the fragrance has taken me straight back to the small and narrow streets of Florence and it will certainly be there again when I go to the next Pitti Uomo in Florence in summer or when I just want to travel there in my mind. Simply remove the lid, spray on and you are back in Florence

Who doesn't know it, the scent when you open a pack of Mon Chéri and one of these chocolate cherry liqueur scents rises into your nose. SM Café meets this fragrance which I know since my childhood very well. She mixes herself with a strong espresso note, which immediately stimulates my appetite. So be careful, if you're hungry, don't spray on it.

It is a fascinating fragrance that pleasantly caresses you and brings with it a good presence and perception. Over Mon Chéri's time with espresso liqueur, it develops into a more sexual scent, since after about an hour the rose slowly comes through, which I rather perceive as very dark jasmine. The reaction of my girlfriend at the first contact with SM Café was very positive. She loves the animal leather notes, which I hardly notice in the combination with the dark coffee and chocolate notes and the hint of wicked rose (jasmine).

I will continue to test the fragrance over the next few weeks as I believe it is perfect for the colder season and will continue to add it if necessary. The blind purchase has already paid off for me

Today Birkholz had a small event at the local Douglas and I smelled my way through the new fragrance line, which also includes Iris N' Woods, over a champagne. When the series was first presented a few weeks ago I had already sprayed a few of the fragrances on. But not this one, because I didn't understand the concept at first. Today then the first time smelled and immediately thought, this looks somehow familiar to me.

Santal Blush by Tom Ford has been on my wish list as a fragrance for quite some time now, but there are always fragrances that have been given priority, so he always had to queue up in the back. Now the fragrance has to go completely off the list, because I think I found the better Santal Blush in Iris N' Woods.

The association with Santal Blush came later after I had worn the fragrance for a few hours. For me, Iris N' Woods is the stronger, more masculine fragrance. The composition is very well balanced; spicy, woody but also fresh at the same time, losing a little freshness over time. Even if I judged him to be more masculine than Tom Ford's fragrance, I would still judge the fragrance to be unisex. He was well received by the girlfriend and she sprayed the scent directly on herself. The iris note is very discreet but perceptible and makes the cardamom and the cumin very soft and pleasant, as both can be very dominant, but harmonize well here. The fragrance is much more woody for me than Santal Blush which makes it more wearable for me personally.

A great scent for the cold season, more autumn scent than for the really cold winter. A super scent to cuddle in front of the fireplace, for a walk in the forest over wet autumn leaves or a hot tea with a shot.

The performance is solid to good with about 6-7h on my skin. However, the scent is close to the body so you have to get closer to it to get its full effect.

I sprayed the scent at Nice Airport before a flight and slept in a cloud of flowers during the flight. It definitely has a calming effect and you relax after spraying it on.

For me a rather light spring scent which was made more for a lady than for the gentleman. But I could imagine an interesting mixture with some of the citric TF scents. It will probably not make it into the collection at the current price, but in and of itself not a bad fragrance

My partner and I smelled this fragrance a few weeks ago in our perfume house of choice on one of the saleswomen. He just lay in the air while we were smelling each other through some other scents and came back into our noses every now and then. My partner approached the saleswoman and asked her which fragrance she was wearing and then led us to the shelf with the Zarko fragrances. She then sprayed the scent into my partner's hair to try it out. On the way through the pedestrian zone there were various men who were surrounded by the cloud of scent and turned around and I have to admit that I also find the scent very attractive and animalistic. The fragrance doesn't last as long on the body but applied to hair or clothes it can be taken all day or even the next morning. It is very light and fresh and a perfect fragrance in the warm to hot summer months. Women as well as men seem to be very attracted to the fragrance and we like to use it as a layer in combination with other fragrances
