today's my nose about a masterpiece - which I understand as a tribute to the south of Italy where you enjoy the fruits of life in no way quiet - & for this reason also for the first time an italotedesco mix - have fun ;)

marzocco by roberto ugolini bespoke shoes - an extremely upbeat perfume that radiates good mood. edgy, somehow cheeky and absolutely unique!

in general, the brand has been my fragrance house discovery of the year 2020 - because it combines under one roof several of my absolute favorite perfumers. for example, the very much appreciated by me christian carbonnel or chris maurice who is also very active for xerjoff and countless other brands - or the fantastic maurizio cerizza to name just two of the world-famous masters. the entire series is under the creative direction of the legendary herbert stricker aka the nose behind.

roberto ugolini is actually a world-famous custom shoe manufacturer based in florence. from the friendship between herbert and roberto arose over time the idea to create their own fragrance line. based on the pronounced fragrance passion of robert and the extensive wealth of experience of herbert could only be grandiose... for me personally remarkable is that I actually have not found a single fragrance from the series that does not fit for me. of course there are the favorites like marzocco and blue suede shoes - but in terms of quality, there is not even the slightest compromise in any of the works.

what an ingenious and high-quality presentation - the series shines throughout with an elaborately crafted golden starfish on the cap and even the packaging surprises with its own built-in lighting. atlantide you even have to screw out of its own water tank - that's what I call ingenuity.

here but orza - what a work once again from the really virtouosen master paolo of the brand tiziana terenzi. I had the pleasure to meet this really sympathetic contemporary in person and can only tell you that he is besides his terrific skills quite simply a real gentleman. there were a lot of funny and highly interesting topics of conversation including glimpses behind the scenes of the industry and I have this special meeting in the very best memory. we got along incredibly well and there was even the invitation to cattolica which I would like to take with all my heart when the world finally turns again in their so long missed rhythm.

until then, I enjoy using his creations as travel tickets and it is therefore a very special pleasure to be able to present this first class variant to you here today. so let's get back to the scent - many classify it as a fruity gourmand and consequently rather for the colder autumn days. i myself think relatively little of all these predetermined restrictions anyway - you should just please wear what you like and when - everything else is simply foreign opinions.

of course therefore also mine - but I personally find just that this fragrance just fantastic in the grad current spring time fits. but basically also like to be worn without exception all year round and cross-gender can.

this indescribably harmoniously composed fruity - which has caught me directly at the first sniff. I have tested some of the series relatively briefly - there were missing telea and atlantide - but orza just stood out directly from the rest and I was abruptly absolutely thrilled by this composition.

so you get here besides the mentioned packaging benefits simply a fabulous, potent and long-lasting fragrance whose different development phases are simply consistently to kneel down. if you have even a little bit left for fruity vanilla fragrances will be here in my opinion only very difficult not to rave ... :)

welcome to the fragrance bunker and thus once again to an intergalactic fragrance presentation. this time it is about apollonia by xerjoff - a creation dedicated in 2019 to the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing in 1969.

as usual, it starts with a packaging that simply does not leave the slightest wishes open. straight the shooting star series you get consistently in a beautiful noble leather box. and if we have already learned to appreciate the exceptionally harmoniously shaped flacons from the house there is an additional special feature with apollonia.

just look at the conceptually fantastic varnishing of the bottle - here they play with a very aesthetic optical interpretation of the lunar surface. and this is also haptically a real experience. simply beautiful. yes and how could it be otherwise - also the fragrance really invites you to dream.

according to the note list we have it allegedly or actually with only three components to do. in the top note white flowers - in the heart note the iris butter and in the base note white musk. but there is another special feature here. apollonia opens my nose directly the entire beauty of the composition. that is, there is no really remarkably noticeable scent progression. but that does not mean in any way that we have to do here with a quality deficit due to the lack of scent development. quite the contrary - the part here is just boldly harmonious from the beginning and I can only suggest everyone to try the fragrance.

i must admit that I was amazed at the first test of new york intense from the house nicolaï in retrospect not bad - because I did not know the score list in advance and could honestly not believe that I liked him so much after I've looked at the various fragrances.

i have it actually not at all with animalic notes - there's then with me personally experience quite quickly in the nasentilt as with quite a few harsh oud or guaiac wood compositions.

here, however, we have some of my end opponents united and they please me.

so once again the lesson - own nose rules - it can't be said often enough and i think if you too are that bit biased at such compositions new york intense could be a real exception.

especially even if you like, for example, real perfume classics this is a pretty cool and timeless interpretation transferred into modern times.
