Achtuuuung Tuberooooooooose!!!
Poah. So the Amouages and I - it's not going to happen.

I was looking forward to a creamy-sweet scent. What I got was an absolute tuberose hummer, which is so breathtaking in the negative sense that only ONE spray is enough for an absolutely room filling fragrance. You have to give the Amouage fragrances credit for that: they all have an unparalleled silage, well, the shelf life varies.

The tuberose comes with a little jasmine on the hand, I can smell that too. Both have only a tiny vanilla cream ice cream, I can only guess, that's where the sweetness comes from

Later it becomes a little softer and a little woody-spicy, but discreet. Ms. Tuberose and Ms. Jasmin have virtually taken a seat on a sandalwood bench.

Phew, I actually like a little tuberose, but here you definitely have to be an absolute fan to wear this fragrance.

Nothing for me, really. :-)

Soleil Blanc, is that you?
I was allowed to sniff a small sample thanks to Mrs. Nickhun. :-)

The Start cannot deny its fragrance twin: Yes, it smells like the Soleil Blanc (I have and know only the EdP). But it'll be quick... yeah, weird. I can't stand too much YlangYlang, it develops pompous and flowery, I don't really like that. Always present and right in the middle: coconut milk. I don't have any problems with it at all (in some perfumes I have smelled it as a pear, however, for whatever reason... ^^), but here the whole thing ends a bit aquatic-harsh, aha, this could be the translucent zone with the benzoin. I can also sniff the soft peppery undertone and slightly woody.

An almost identical list of fragrance ingredients does not yet produce the same overall result. For me, the Beach Walk is nice, but in any case not a candidate for purchase. I would always prefer the Soleil Blanc, because it is sweeter and creamier and above all more coherent for my nose, there is no nervous note, while here I don't become 100% one with the fragrance.

But maybe something for all those for whom the Soleil Blanc should be harder.

Screeching rococo wigs
*Soifz*
Today I am once again on the Revoluzer track, after I have searched in vain here for only ONE commi, who feels at least ETWAS similar to this fragrance as I do, to award and comment.
I didn't find him!

So many unbelievably positive comments, childhood flashbacks at the dressing table or to the stylish mummy - when spraying it on, I REALLY wondered if so many have spent such a horror childhood here that they like this scent so much? :-D (fun!)

First of all, I really almost lose my breath, a musty powdery aldehyde(????) cloud takes my breath away. And I don't mean that in a positive way
It smells as if a talcum powder sponge had been dipped in cold water and left in it.

Rose? Violets? I don't know, maybe some leaves have fallen into the stagnant water, but I don't consciously perceive these. The powder in the fragrance has hidden all other listed ingredients under a thick, VERY dry and unsweet layer of powder. While I am on sweet, creamy powder, this one is dry, irritating to the cough and really makes me breathless. Every time I smell my arm, I have to take a deep breath afterwards, when I hold my nose somewhere else.

The fragrance is full-bodied, room filling and pungent. White faces with red heart lips, rococo wigs, glaring screeching giggles, opulent velvet costumes. That comes to mind. And I breathless and horrified in between.
At some point, the last rococo bridge has been removed and the powdery scent becomes really tame, cuddly and powdery, as (in my eyes) is appropriate for a fine powder scent, but this pungent dry remains dead

Honestly, even my child make-up or my wax painters smelled a thousand times nicer and currently I don't have one of my seven lipsticks that smells even remotely like that, because I would definitely NOT apply it near my nose; suffocation would be pre-programmed. :-D

Yellow is not summer!
Oh, yeah. :-)
Once again I write an entry for an exclusive, who was allowed to move in with me thanks to Mrs. LiLaLinchen, in form of a very generous addition. :-)
Because of the great ratings I expected the sun out of the bottle, the love of life, the summer to spray.

What I did get...was currant liqueur under an old cedar-juniper branch; around it grow a few flowers, including strawflowers.
Later the vanilla also comes along, VERY much later (1-2 hours?!). It'll be nicer, but not really nice.
It remains quite herbaceous, kind of strawy. Sweet, too, but so... fermented?

Yeah, it smells a little bit like summer day, summer forest, fall, I don't know. But even when the vanilla chips away, it's still... strangely herbaceous that I never know here in which season drawer I can put it?
Does it get better in the spring? Hm. Well, it's nothing to me. Yesterday I had sprayed four fragrances, and in between I kept thinking "Yeeeeehhhh, which one smells so terrible?! Yes, the Amouage sunshine. But I think the bottles are so beautiful and somehow, for whatever reason, people are inclined to make the fragrances look good. But no, this one's not for me. If it was at least ala "Oh yes, nice, but try it with more heat", but it is not. He's not with me, I don't like to smell his wrist, we're not made for each other.

Alien-flanker for the big purse
Yeah, yeah, me like...! ;-)

I usually associate superficial perfume jasmine ingredients with Alien, although I was a relatively late Alien discoverer (2019).

This fragrance does indeed remind me of Alien, but of a fine flanker. Since I have the Alien EdP at home, I could test both at the same time.

Yeah, jasmine comes out first on both.
While the Alien is quite sweet and screeching, here it is finer, more floral and more likely to be associated with the flower, while the Alien is more synthetic by comparison.
The Portrayal quickly becomes slightly resinous with a very light tobacco note; I don't smell vanilla at all here.
Against Portrayal Woman, Alien is really very sweet, but also much more durable; Portrayal quickly becomes skin-tight against it. (Only my personal impression with simultaneous Alien-Test).

Portrayal Woman is, despite the equally well-arranged ingredients, more complex, and really resinous, spicy, but so beautiful that when I had it on the back of my hand for testing, I always thought "What's that nice smell?!" and always came back to the back of my hand.

Whether this fragrance REALLY smells that good and will make it into my collection, I do not know yet. Thank God I'm not a bottle victim. ^^ It must be really great... :-) I'll have to test it a few more times, though. It doesn't even cost an apple and an egg... And I like aliens too. And "nice" just doesn't cut it with me. ;-)

I would classify the fragrance for autumn/winter. Certainly also for summer evenings, parties etc.

PS: When really mentioning EVERYONE the perfume name here I forgot the "r" (Portayal instead of Portrayal). :-) Maybe it's also a sign that in the long run we can't be together after all...?!
