I am positively surprised with this parfum. It starts very familiar Middle Eastern combination of saffron, nutmeg and bit of rose. Top notes are very similar to lattafas Qaeed, Oud for glory…but here it is less synthetic. Parfum gets little sweeter and start to smell patchouli. Base is dry woods mainly sandalwood and musk. I would say dominants notes are saffron and sandalwood. This parfum doesn’t get heavy , it doesn’t have leather or oud but it is always present. So it is great if you are working with other people or in office environment. I would say this is a mid season parfum.
Overall it is more minimalistic, more airy spicy woody Middle Eastern parfum. It is very smooth , i don’t get anything disturbing or plasticky accords, like on other cheap parfums. Quality seems better, even though this is also cheap parfum ( i paid 30 euros) .

I do recommend to people who likes spicy parfums with Middle Eastern vibe.

It last long 10hr , projection is moderate.

I really like this one. It is very unique and special parfum. It is very classy and elegantly composed. I was looking long time for parfum with Mastic note. This bitter sweet resin is part of my scent memory. It will especially appeal people from Mediterranean. Mastic has been used a lot in food and drinks like ice cream, chewing gum, sweet desserts, in coffee…it really reminds me of those sweet childhood memories, hot days, lemon trees, slow and careless life on the islands .
Longevity and sillage is not great at all. But i will wear it in the evenings . It became one of my favorite summer parfum.

I was pleasantly surprised with this fragrance. It is high quality and unique enough to add to any collection. I haven’t tried edt version so i cant compare them. This has short boring start with citruses. Then blend of galbanum, geranium, sage and violet leaf take stage. Heart is most exciting part of this parfum. It has similar structure with fougere but here galbanum replaces lavander. Which makes big difference. This is mostly flowery herbal parfum with support of leather and oakmoss. It has also a little bit sweetness from flowers. If you are looking male flowery fragrance like me this is a very good option. But I still suggest that you should test it . I can imagine combination of galbanum, geranium, sage and violet leaf is not for everyone.
Performance is also above average, it lasts all day . I think it will be great at mid-temperaturess, like in spring time.
I am into design myself, so i have bit difficulty like some bottle designs. But I love this heavy black bottle with metal cap (I believe it is head of greyhound). It feels elegant and luxury.
This parfum is also have great value. I paid 55 euro. I think for this quality, this price is very good. Considering a lot of brands charging much more for their inferior products. I am enjoying this parfum and i can recommend to others.

Many Poems written about Rose in Middle Eastern cultures. But this one resonates with me. It is one of the flower loved so much. This parfum has tripple doses of roses and musk.

This is very successful parfum. It is not just because it smells amazing. It also represents a style. Style of an urban metro sexual. He is familiar with suit and tie. He is a confident, dark and elegant.He also has a soft side, a feminine side. He likes iris , nothing wrong liking flowers. Dior is doing something nice here. They are trying to create a style of our time with fashion and parfums.Thats why this is “true” designer parfum . Maybe this style is also fading, getting older.
I am not that guy wears suite and tie. I always struggle to wear this one without a suite . Yet , I really enjoy wearing this because of quality and idea behind it.
