The story of the Moosmännchen, which was no longer in the mood.
I got the scent as a sample from Douglas and tested it right away. Here my impressions (first metaphorically):

After a summer rain the little male moss stands in front of his cave below a mossy dead wood scrub and smokes his sweetish pipe. These scent wads are still perceptible at the edge of the forest. But after the smoking break it's over. Moosmann goes to sleep. Good night .... and no scent.

The start is sweet woody and slightly musty (Sillage about 9). The woody note is reminiscent of the smell of dead wood in the forest after a rain. That'll take an hour with good luck. After that, there's a shift in the shaft. What remains is a slightly sweet touch on the skin. But you have to press your nose pretty hard against your skin. (Sillage = 0). An incredibly complex fragrance, where one note unfolds after the other, is not to be found. Too bad. Those who love woody scents would get their money's worth here. And even more so, where the scent of its own is like no other. Only in this case, if you look at the durability and the not exactly favorable price, this is a short and expensive pleasure. Maybe someone will sponsor the perfumer Alberto Morillas an internship with the French. DIOR, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent or Chanel. Because they can.

No purchase recommendation from me due to the bad price-performance ratio. The fragrance has potential, however, if it lasts longer. That's too bad

Grandiose and masterful - Oriental for sweet refusers
There you can see that a good oriental fragrance does not necessarily have to be sweet. And that's exactly what makes Xeryus Rouge so unique. If you are looking for an oriental fragrance, you will often get a good portion of the oud resin put on your nose and often rounded off with a more or less loveless vanilla base note. Sometimes I have the feeling that when our fragrance composers can't think of anything else to ensure a longer shelf life, a little vanilla comes underneath and you write eau de parfum on it >> everything fine. This fragrance shows that vanilla is not necessarily needed for a legendary shelf life and sillage, and this as an eau de toilette.
A fragrance for all those who like the Oriental, but have their nose full of some sweet everyday fragrances in the truest sense of the word. 1 to 2 spray bursts and one experiences a true spice firework, which lasts a good 6 hours (summer) without becoming too intrusive. So you don't smell like spice musfa from the Baghdad market. In the end it becomes slightly sweetish, but is only very subtle (sandalwood). For my collection the fragrance is a beautiful new enrichment

Tightrope walk
- strongly polarizing and absolute niche fragrance
- either you love him or you hate him
- when you know this fragrance appeals to friends and family - no problem. But absolutely unsuitable for work, perhaps even in the business sector. The escape threshold is very low. I like this long-lasting fragrance very much, but unfortunately not my environment. Therefore no purchase. Absolutely test and do not buy blind. But it has what it takes to become an absolute legend

Legendary and timeless
The fact that this fragrance has been on the market for such a long time and, to my knowledge, has not changed, clearly shows how timeless it is. The Égoïste is certainly not a mainstream perfume, but always finds its lovers. I wouldn't advise a blind buy. One or the other will need time to love this fragrance. The durability is for an Eau of the toilet of all first league (lies for hours on the skin, even in midsummer). Two sprays are perfectly sufficient. Anything else could quickly make you very lonely ;). But in the right dosage a great and high-quality fragrance for (almost) every occasion

summer Fahrenheit freshling
Congratulations - DIOR makes Cologne socially acceptable for young people.
- of intensity higher than the DIOR Homme Cologne
- unmistakable FAHRENHEIT family, but much milder (i.e.: typical leathery scent also represented here, but much milder. EdC dominated by mandarin and cedar)
- of course you have to cut back on the shelf life and sillage of a cologne. The Fahrenheit EdC doesn't have to hide there, though.
- Odour perceptible for 2-3 hours, on cold skin possibly longer
(enough to get a fresh Fahrenheit touch shortly before an appointment
- Fragrance for all ages
clear purchase recommendation for all who don't want to miss their beloved Fahrenheit in summer either
