Creamy queen of white flowers
I hereby officially award the title of 'Creamy Queen of White Flower Fragrances' to Kayali's 'Déjà Vu White Flower | 57'. Full of joy, I also note that this is the first comment for this still quite young perfume.

In search of new women's fragrances for my wife, I stumbled across Déjà Vu in a video by Leni's Scents (thanks for the recommendation Leni!). Since the combination of orange blossom, sandalwood & vanilla usually always pleases my wife and the fragrance was touted as the absolute best white-flower fragrance, I immediately ordered a bottling in the souk.

With superlatives one should be careful, and also with the full score in a review - but fuck, this fragrance deserves it! As already described in my statement after the first spray: Déjà Vu is insane! A perfectly balanced combination of white florals and a creamy sweetness. Although this is a floral fragrance, I definitely don't feel the scent is too 'floral' or even opulent. Déjà Vu goes in the direction of Boss Orange, only a lot creamier! Imagine a creamy vanilla ice cream, decorated with fruits harvested to the perfect degree of ripeness - and on top of that you slowly run the contents of a Boss Orange flacon as a sauce. Eat you should not, but smell is bombastic! :)

Since Déjà Vu brings all the essential elements without striking out too strongly in one direction, the fragrance is wearable in any situation and at any time - another fat plus. Attractive sweetness as well as airy creaminess work on a date or in the evening just as at a barbecue in the garden or in the office!

Finally, a little speculation regarding the name without background knowledge: the main chords of this fragrance are not a world first, just about everyone will have smelled a similar fragrance already. When you smell Déjà Vu for the first time you have a déjà vu, "I've smelled that before..." - 'Déjà Vu White Flower | 57' manages, however, to rise as the absolute queen of white flower fragrances above everything smelled so far.

Spicy-hot sailor with appeal.
Titanium takes me back to 2002, MTV hip-hop, oversized clothes and a tingling expectation of the future. That electrifying tension that you feel as a young teenager - the hope that the future belongs to you, that you can achieve anything. This feeling connects me personally with the fragrance Titanium. And that's exactly why I have to give this fragrance the first comment on Parfumo.

Through a well-known online mail order company I finally ordered a bottle of my childhood love for a small thaler. If one researches the scents, one can immediately see a strong resemblance to the popular sailor Le Mâle.

Top note: bergamot, orange, lemon, some cardamom
Heart notes: star anise, cinnamon, mint, lavender
Base notes: Musk, cedar wood, sandalwood, vanilla, maritime notes

Yes, the similarity is unmistakable. Personally, I find the fragrance much spicier and tarter than Le Mâle - and that's a good thing. Titanium is absolutely beguiling, radiates an attractive warmth and radiates determination to conquer the future.

Titanium will always find its way into my collection for the manageable price. By the way, I think the durability of a fragrance from the low-price segment is perfectly ok - apart from that, an additional splash here costs next to nothing!

A powdery wave.
Homme Intense, currently the number 3 top fragrance for men. After the first splash of my souk I already wrote a statement - the fragrance catches me! Seductive, enchanting. After wearing it several times in everyday life, the rose-red glasses have disappeared, we don't seem to really fit together - or were they the wrong occasions?

The first impression made me think directly of Armani Eau de Nuit - I am a big fan of. Maybe this would have been different if I had first got to know Dior Homme Intense? In fragrance development, however, Homme Intense tends to move more towards the sweetishly sweet undertone of a Valentino Uomo EdT. Eau de Nuit retains the darkness, which I really like in this combination. With Homme Intense, the iris predominates quite quickly (the scent pyramid here is unfortunately very slimmed down) and this in a concentration that definitely crushes me quickly. As soon as I apply more than 4 splashes, the scent wave overruns me and my immediate surroundings. Single notes are then hardly to be noticed, only a smelling heaviness spreads. If you give Homme Intense the opportunity to unfold, you definitely have a solid companion - but maybe more for the evening or special occasions.

I can agree with the previous speaker Cngz95: my wife was extremely taken with Homme Intense as well as Valentino Uomo directly! However, as a newcomer to the world of fragrances, Homme Intense still teaches me that I personally am perhaps not the biggest fan of powdery fragrances

The man in black radiates maturity - and is into pipe tobacco.
Man in Black ended up on my autumn/winter watch list after one of my numerous forays into this wonderful community. On the same day, I dug out a handful of specimens at home that I had not yet decided on - et voilá: the gentleman in black from Bulgari was there with me!

Pffft - I am thrilled! The first impression reminds me strongly of Herod! Wow! Clearly the tobacco in the top note is responsible for this. One in Black's tobacco is dry sweetish. Caressed by a warm coat of powder. The powdery note is by no means too present. Like a thin cashmere cardigan. In this cardigan I sit on a veranda of wooden panels and sip a liqueur. Something soft, not 40% rum, you can hardly taste the alcohol. My father sits next to me and smokes a pipe, the smell of tobacco wafts over to me from time to time - I sniff it out.

Man in Black is an incredibly pleasant fragrance that creates a warm atmosphere. It can be worn on an evening with friends as well as in the office, if you want to be a pleasant contact person. An innovative marketing genius in his early 20s may want to look for a more bubbly scent. One in Black suits the sedate man who radiates prudence and maturity - this can also be the case at 30. A fragrance I will always be happy to return to!

Heat & Resistance
Terre d'Hermes takes me into his warm arms and introduces me to the world of fragrances with a strong but friendly handshake. Since my early youth I have been using perfume. I have never thought about scents, sillage or differences between EdT and EdP. After I have recently worn quite satisfied relevant fragrances like Boss Bottled or Sun Men by Jil Sander, something new should come along

Without any real clue, I let myself be inspired by the artist Prince Pi. He announced his last album with the following words: "From the first note all the current shit, stress and negativity is forgotten and you are at home. It's like when a good, very stylishly dressed friend hugs you, smelling of Terre d' Hermes. That's me." - so I held my nose to the bottle during lunch at the department store next door, spraying wrists and test strips and let the scent work its magic on me.

The first impression is citric, depending on the amount of spray, almost bitingly citric. The component is reminiscent of a bitter soft drink and can be slightly unpleasant depending on the nose. The biting fades away very quickly so that a sweetish warm note remains. It's like spilling a glass of warm, freshly squeezed orange juice in the sauna and finding its way over the wooden panels. The main characteristic of the fragrance I find to be reservedly sweetish, warm and soft rounded off by dry wood. Like a sip of lightly sweetened grapefruit tea during a short rest on a tree stump in a light forest in early September (I didn't allow the sentence to say more words). One of those September days when you have the feeling that summer will last forever. One of those days when the warm light is refracted and the surroundings are bathed in copper gold...

Enough with the flowery euphemisms. To go back to my headline and Prince Pi's album announcement: yes, Terre d'Hermes smells like a warm, firm embrace from a faithful companion. A confident, encouraging smile. A word of advice.

Terre d'Hermes is a pleasant companion in everyday life, my 5 - 7 splashes I still perceive clearly up to 6 hours. The Sillage is not extraordinary, which is not necessarily the case for an unobtrusive everyday companion that radiates maturity and seriousness.

Thank you Terre d'Hermes for sparking my curiosity for the world of fragrances and helping me find my way into this community.
