Feet up that comes...polarizing
Who?the scent, the comment here and the perfumer ATH.for me really a Boss scent, not so much because of the smell, but more because of the attitude behind it.
You are constantly being told that you should not use loud, room-filling sweet scents for the office, not that you should step on the shoes of people with a "fine nose", some "refined niche snobs, uh...niche lovers" or even "insult their nose! Wow, sounds for me honestly said after heavy bodily injury who dares to do something like that: "Take rather something inconspicuous, something pleasing so that you do not leave a bad impression (mostly with persons you do not like anyway)" But then comes ATH, and looks first of all "very unprofessional" :O.Tattooed, often with extravagant colored hair, and with a "human degrading naming" and brings a fragrance on the market, "Boss Bastard" for the office, sweet, room filling and with a certain edge, which I just can't describe
Boss Bastard is airy, fresh and fruity for the first 10 minutes, then it goes into a beautiful sweet-ambered-woody tobacco can smell and unfortunately it loses its fragrance towards the end with a sweet and light dirtiness. The base note is a mixture of cocoa, with a clean vetiver, and sandalwood is m.M.n.n here not even so strong present, because a fruity and slightly dirty musk note covers the whole.Sillage and durability are both top.
Actually I celebrate this fragrance for being sweet and masculine at the same time, because it is not at all "impotent" or "shy" and tells the people who think it is "out of place in the office" or "a sweet, unmanly pap" to shut the fuck up.That's what I think characterizes self-confidence and also masculinity: if you wear exactly what you want to wear, even if it's not "in vogue" or "usual", with the conscious intention that you might get negative feedback here and there.

No introduction needed
Prada Amber pour Homme is the first men's fragrance from Prada, and the fragrance par excellence that Prada embodies in the men's fragrance industry, and Daniela Andrier has been asked to create a fragrance that women would like to smell on men.And the result: Prada Amber. I have tested all Prada men's fragrances except the infusion line and can say by far that this one is the best. PS: objectively better than Prada l'Homme, subjectively many see it differently

"Waaaaaaaaaaas?????? This is an aging fragrance, replaced by the Prada l'Homme line, smells just like soap, not exciting, not masculine at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"Yes, that's why.this fragrance here embodies the kind of scents Prada became famous for. "The fragrance starts in the top note with a gentle touch of a blend of bergamot, neroli and tangerine, with cardamom only in the background and accompanying the other components." - an accurate description is that it is the epitome of a soap scent, it is soap to spray on, a fresh powdery and luxurious soap, popular with the wealthier over 40s.Sure, it has a (less exciting) scent, and the top note does not smell like the heart note, etc. Translated and without much unnecessary babble: it starts fresh, and becomes more and more soapy, myrrh clearly stands out from the heart note, vanilla, saffron and labdanum are also noticeable as soon as the heart note disappears

Whoever orders this fragrance and expects a uniqueness or an "olfactory experience" : out of place.this perfume scores with its simplicity and simplicity.it presents an outstanding elegance, carefree and seriousness.

That's why I say it's a masterpiece, because I generally consider perfume and fragrances as an art form in themselves, and I always admire and respect the work behind the fragrances, the history and the creative process.Last but not least, the big issue of the perfume industry: "could be unisex, my wife wears them", yes, it could be unisex, and everyone can wear whatever they want, but it's not unisex that makes it so great.Because Prada launches a perfume for a male target group, which also represents the modern man (in the successful business life) well, the fragrance does not necessarily smell male, even has a metrosexual component, which is normal nowadays, both with fragrances and with men, and if you consider that it comes from "Prada"....but he is always serious, eloquent and elegant, and he doesn't project strongly, and that with intention, because what serious man wants to smell strongly of soap, even if it smells luxurious? I feel that you either have to have a certain enthusiasm for perfumery or be well educated to understand and appreciate a fragrance, even if it doesn't suit your subjective taste.

A disappointment can only be as big as the expectations
...and number 27 in men's fragrances and a rating of 8.4 out of 733 is a big announcement...like the disappointment i experienced when i smelled Pure Havane for the first time...and the smell is not bad at all...it is "good" and even addictive, i can imagine that it brings many compliments...apart from the fact that i only like the smell to 70% i will analyze the weaknesses objectively and present them here. For a poetic description of the smell and more entertainment, please use another comment to imagine the smell (although in 10 out of 10 cases it's different than you think, so you can guess the direction) I just want to add that it does smell a bit spicier than "sweet and gourmand".But what i noticed about the scent: i didn't know it was reformulated until just now, but now everything makes sense. when i smelled it 3-4 times more intense, i thought to myself, without knowing it: "dude, it smells as if it was a reformulation". without a rational basis, just from the gut feeling. so i ask myself the question: what was evaluated here? Pure havane what you get now when you buy it, or vintage pure havane?..now i come to my findings: the fragrance is much too "top note heavy". what this means you can imagine, but as a comparison : you see a person, relatively small 1,60m with a head that is too big. the head itself is only disproportionate in a relative way, because if this person had the right size, for example 1.85-1.90m, the overall picture would harmonize, and that's exactly the case with this Pure Havane.the top note is too "heavy" for the depth of the fragrance that is missing here.it's like wearing the fragrance backwards: first the base, then the heart note and finally the top note.strange progression, however, can also be seen as an "artistic statement" or whatever you can imagine. The lack of depth here makes it look like this fragrance (which has a character all of its own) is only halfway there...neither crowdpleaser nor statement scent...something in between...a little shy...second point is that i'm 100% sure it's chemically synthetic to the same percentage. caution: may contain traces of patchouli...so only 99% synthetic after all?I see the potential in this fragrance and it's generally "well done", but unfortunately not very exciting for the fact that it's shyly going in a statement direction, and only half shows up...the bottom line is that the less you've smelled it, the better it smells...i originally thought so too: it smells mega good, until i had to discover the weaknesses mentioned above...but the individual notes are well balanced and the whole package can be smelled...two times.

Scent so oldschool even the current batches are 10 years old
once again scents from the 70's order garkein Bock :D.This Bogart I bought myself because I needed with my last order still 11 € order value so that the package for free shipped. and I heard already from numerous reviewers Bogart this Bogart that...but always newer perfumes like "Pour Homme" or "Silver Scent".when I saw this one here at Parfumo with the rating 8.2..of course ordered directly for 13€/90ml without hesitation.so fragrance arrives, is unpacked on the way home and applied.I bought Azzaro PH first, but the new reformulation in my eyes is more like a hermaphrodite from here and a warmth thanks to aniseed, which is untypical for such fragrances. Well, it was not what I was looking for, but it was a surprise. The Bogart Signature is a perfect match for my taste, in the first 2 minutes it smells soapy and scratchy like anything else, but it's a must if you want to be oldschool, after that the scent fades and remains quite linear: green, lots of herbs, oldschool hairdresser 70s smell, spicy, woody. The last point does not apply to me, but I still know such smells from my dad. I am very satisfied with the scent, the durability (6 hours loose) and the sillage. The scent is also classically masculine and brings me back to the 70's. So what's up, I'm going to apply 10-15 sprayers of it, put on some airy pants and a loud shirt, and go tear it up with a side parting and long sideburns or something like that :D.Out of curiosity I did a batchcode check and had to laugh when I found out that my bottle is from the end of 2010..so it's almost 10 years old...so it should have been tilted? but what's the point of paying attention to such little things if you put yourself into the perfume character.Supposedly you get 3ml of aftershave balm as a little present...to be honest I don't know where those 3ml went, because all I got was an empty tube :)). all in all a very amusing and at the same time pleasant experience with Bogart Signature.

A true work of art among the top 10 niche fragrances
As mentioned in the title, this perfume is a true "made in Poland" work of art from the house of "Avon" with an increased proportion of natural oils and a perfectly balanced scent composition...fun aside I just sprayed this fragrance again, and try to draw the attention of some people to the scent with this comment, maybe it smells peppery, a bit wooden and has probably because of the Tonka & Ambergris combination a certain warmth with a slight sweetness that is added. All in all a perfect candidate for "it smells like it looks".i personally find the fragrance interesting.nothing to be surprised about, but for the versatility, durability and yes, also "uniqueness" in its price range of 9,35€/75 ml it is worth a thought.it smells quite synthetic, which shouldn't be a big surprise at this price, but as far as i can tell it goes down quite well with people.
