A short love
Actually The One is a really beautiful and successful smell ... if there would not be with me this one big problem:
My skin is eating up the scent :/
I spray on the scent and am immediately flattered by a fruity-spicy mixture of orange, grapefruit and cardamom. So far, so good!
Unfortunately the fun only lasts for a very short time. Already after ~30 minutes I only notice the scent if I hold my nose directly over the spot where I sprayed The One. So you really can't talk about an adequate projection. After another 1 ½ - 2 hours the perfume is completely gone, no matter if I apply one, two or five sprayers. So it could all be so beautiful if my skin would not like the scent to eat the scent ^ ^

Eros? No better!
This scent has been on my radar for some time! Already more than 3 months ago I saw a review of 1981 Los Angeles from the Youtuber "AGentlemansJourney" and was fixed directly. Unfortunately it took some time until the fragrance was finally available here in Germany. When I could finally find him the days online, was not hesitated any longer and the purchase was decided thing ... And the long waiting time was worth it :D

The scent is exactly what I had hoped it would give me! In my opinion, a comparison with Versace Eros is quite appropriate here, especially because of the concise Minz note in both fragrances. Basically, I've always liked Eros pretty much. Somehow he was a bit too loud and prolific for me (not for nothing he is considered the "King of Clubbing" ^^). From 1981 Los Angeles I hoped for a more balanced and adult "Eros" and that's exactly what I got.

Now let's get to the fragrance:
From the beginning to the heart note, the mint note here is clearly pronounced but not quite as intrusive as with Eros. That's probably why it comes across so well with me, because it's with the black pepper (just in the top note) and the plum (that's probably the fruity note I perceive in the fragrance). But I don't know if I would have tipped on "plum" on my own if it hadn't been in the scent pyramid^^) two opponents who "slow down" the mint a bit.
In addition there is a pleasantly warm sweetness through the amber. I also like this much better compared to the somewhat sticky vanilla sweetness of Eros. Finally, sandalwood skilfully rounds off the fragrance and gives it a beautiful woody undertone in the drydown.
In addition, there is the beautiful bottle including wooden cap (only the lettering looks a bit cheap), the very good durability (8-10 hours) and a good sillage (although you have to make some compromises here compared to Eros), which make this fragrance for me an absolute price/performance-price racket!

The little coward
To pick up the headline first: For me, the fig is the clear tone here. I was really surprised that so many perfumers here perceive coconut as a fragrance.
I discovered the scent in the late summer of last year rather coincidentally for myself and then made it my holiday scent.
Actually, I was much more interested in Zegna Intenso, which I became aware of through the well-known larger YouTuber. Ermenegildo Zegna was not at all known to me until then. I then clicked my way through the brand's complete range of perfumes and somehow got stuck with the City Line. Also "New York" is a really passable fragrance, but for me it goes too much in the direction of Bentley Intense, which I like even better.
Now to come back to the actual fragrance:
What I perceive is a fruity, not too sweet fig. This note is by no means limited to the top note for me. It runs much more through the complete fragrance pyramid. After the fruity-fresh opening, a woody note (sandalwood) is added relatively quickly, which takes up more space over time.
The shelf life is very good for a spring/summer fragrance with ~6-7 hours and especially during the first hour you pull a considerable fragrance tail behind you with Milan. Then the scent moves a little closer to the body.
All in all, I am very happy to have decided to wear this fragrance a little off the beaten track and will wear it again this spring with joy.

Blindbuy Superstar!
Montblanc Présence has been on my watch list for quite some time now, and since midsummer is now coming to an end, I thought it might be time to start looking for a new autumn/winter scent
So I went through my "fragrance to-do list" and in the end inevitably got stuck with Présence. Although the fragrance here is classified as a year-round fragrance, I associate cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla and woody notes with the colder season. Unfortunately the production of the perfume was apparently stopped, so that it once again turned out to be a blind buy. But since I've liked every Montblanc fragrance so far and the scents used here are pretty much in line with my taste, my fear wasn't too great.
A few days ago the fragrance finally arrived and I have to say that with the best will in the world I can't understand how to stop producing such a stunning fragrance.
The top note is characterized by a fruity-apfelige cinnamon note and reminds me from the smell, due to the clearly available sweetness, somehow somewhat of the glazed apples from the fair (in the positive sense). In the middle the vanilla is more pronounced and after a longer time the woody notes dominate, just like you would expect it from the fragrance pyramid :)
Unfortunately both Sillage and durability are a small shortcoming for me. Présence, at least for me, tends to be perceived very quickly only close to the body if I don't apply the scent quite generously. The durability is similar. With "normal" use I land somewhere between 4-5 hours. Especially with autumn/winter scents one hopes for something more. At 25€/75ml I forgive the perfume but immediately. In case of doubt you can simply spray again after a while :D
All in all, I can only recommend Présence to anyone who is looking for a slightly more unusual (as more unfamiliar) fragrance away from the mainstream.

Amazing amount of sauvage for a very narrow thaler
So this will be my first more detailed text here at Parfumo, because the 140 characters for a statement this time are simply not enough for me. To start with, I'm not a real expert on perfumes who smells every nuance, no matter how small. Therefore I will rather refer here to my personal sensation than to an all too profound analysis of each individual fragrance
Well, how did I even hear about Extreme Story? In fact, a good friend, whom I mistakenly (or not? :D) thought I was sniffing Dior Sauvage, brought me to this fragrance. When we talked about it and he told me that he had bought this Sauvage clone for just 6€ at DM, it was clear where my next way would go the following day.
I would never have thought of testing Extreme Story myself, as I haven't bought perfume in drugstores for some time and the basic design of the bottle isn't as appealing (it looks cheap, which it is).
Now let's get to the fragrance itself. The top note is unfortunately strongly influenced by an unpleasant alcohol odor (typical cheap perfume) and shows little of the spicy fresh note, which is there in the big brother from the first second. The really astonishing thing is, however, that Extreme Story gets shockingly close to Sauvage after the alcohol odor fades from the heart note. Unfortunately the endurance here is not quite so strong but hey, what can you expect with a fragrance for ~8€/100ml and his 5-6 hours Extreme Story holds out for me too.
Overall, I'm amazed at how much performance you get for this extremely low price, even though I have to say that Sauvage Extreme Story beats in every category except price, of course.
I would like to spend 1-2€ more, if the design and also the workmanship of the flacon would be a little higher. If you already have the complete chrome decoration of the bottle in your hand when you remove the lid for the first time, this simply doesn't do justice to this really good fragrance.
