Beautiful, powerful, serious
I was very happy that I got the opportunity to test this fragrance, because through the previous descriptions I was very curious about it. Actually, I only wanted to write a statement, but I did not succeed in expressing my impression in so few words. I would therefore ask for your indulgence for the key point nature of my description.
Suki has absolutely something, but at the beginning she's too powerful-sweet for me. Candied fruit, but with an unusual touch, not the usual fruit sweetness and softened with a bit of bitter bergamot. After about an hour then pure, clear incense, very beautiful and very serious. In the end I only smell the vanilla, it is noble, but the other notes are unfortunately hidden. My impression is that Suki is clearly divided into three parts. The three phases appear one after the other and do not merge into each other, but are detached. I recognize a very unique fragrance, which deserves all admiration, but which is too powerful for me personally. By this I don't mean the Sillage (which is good, but not too room-filling) but the overall impression of the fragrance. Many thanks to net Parfuma, who made it possible for me to get to know this special fragrance!

Aufg's sprüht is' - my meadow fragrance 2018
Minigolf, please forgive me for referring to her Oktoberfest comparison. But from today on the city is over again and as far as taste is concerned, the next two weeks will only help "eyes closed and through".

Nothing against the Oktoberfest, but we belong to the people of Munich, who are not bad at all, when the whole spectacle is over again and a free place in the subway does not give any more cause for mistrust (who has higspiebn?). It is nevertheless entertaining, when else there are so many tasteless things to marvel at as in the "fifth season" and since we do not have a carnival here, we patiently marvel at the décolletés with expired expiry date, Carmen Dirndl with piroshka hair jewellery and lacquer boots, Dutchmen with Chinese 100 Euro leather trousers and check shirts and Italians with meter-high mug felt hats.>
For me, the sight of carnivalesque driving sometimes triggers a counter movement: into the trench coat, the ballerinas, plain jeans, plain blouse and it's good. Not a cardigan that chummed up like that. And what fragrance?

I love Eau Sensuelle very much. I loved reading Minigolf's associations. And yes, the Lederhosn Association is obvious. I still don't think it does justice to the scent.
After spraying, a light, feminine and slightly sweet (pink) peach, ripe and juicy. I don't smell bergamot. Soft leather quickly joins in, carried by a slightly rosy flowery sweetness, but I can hardly smell out individual flowers here and certainly not notice any competition. Perhaps I sense a hint of gardenia, which elegantly accompanies the fragrance. The leather is certainly not noisy leather. Not even from the detachment of a white suede glove or similar fetish dreams. No, it is a soft, vintage leather jacket that accompanies tastefully but casually through warm, sunny autumn days and is therefore the ideal fragrance for this season. The real "show" in this fragrance, however, is the (already early emerging and long-lasting) base, which very, very clearly reminds of "Moonlight Patchouli". A little more cheerful perhaps due to the peach notes, not quite as deep and dark, but beautiful, spicy, earthy, autumnal.
A few weeks ago I wrote a statement about the Eau Sensuelle in which I found the leather not so well integrated. This is hereby revised. My Wiesnduft 2018!

All at once
Areia Salgada simply sounded so wonderful, the name, the fragrances, the many positive comments.

My impression is, here a smell wants everything at once. It was just too much for me. Yesterday I tested the Areia Salgada, not only on one arm, no, I fogged myself up in the morning and wore the scent all day long, at work, during sports. That wasn't a problem, I didn't feel bad with it, there was no need to shower. It is an interesting fragrance that will not bother anyone.

But there's so much in the scent here at the same time. Spiciness (which I liked very much), fruitiness (green apple shampoo, has not disturbed), maritime and aquatic notes (quite synthetic) and also some wood, leather and amber.

Honestly, it was all too much in one fragrance. I found this to be an olfactory overkill, especially as there was no smell. I also found Areia Salgada rather masculine. In the dry-down came a nice amber note, which I liked very much. The Sillage was pleasant, on myself I perceived the scent well, no one spoke to me about the scent. I found the shelf life above average (all day). Many thanks to the dear Strangelove for the test possibility.

Late summer memories
I spray Ambre Gris on a Saturday morning before I cycle to the bakery. It is one of those first mornings when melancholic minds feel a first whiff of autumn in the air.

The memory that Ambre Gris suddenly evokes at this moment beams me to France. A rural area, not directly at the sea, but in the hinterland, but close enough to the Atlantic coast to clearly feel the humid sea air. The sky is covered with these light grey clouds, loose enough to know it can be a beautiful day. I park my bike in front of the Boulangerie, someone has lit a Gauloise nearby and the light scent of the freshly lit cigarette reaches me.

I tested the scent on a somewhat cooler late summer morning and it fitted in very well there.

The freshness of bergamot and some flowers I can only guess briefly in the top note. In fact, the fragrance is very difficult to grasp at the beginning, I mean to break it down into components and analyze them. It should also be dosed sparingly. I actually felt a little overdressed at the suburban bakery, at eight in the morning with my Ambre Gris.

When the heart note comes out, I can briefly understand the impression of sweetness. Fortunately, this disappears quickly and after the fragrance goes through a short smoky phase, the texture calms down and the dry warmth and special spiciness, which I appreciate very much, comes through and then lasts very, very long. Due to the beautiful amber note, the fragrance for me actually has a sea air aura and the Atlantic association remains and provides a beautiful summer holiday memory.

Very nicely I perceive the smell remainders the next morning at the blouse.

I am already looking forward to wearing the fragrance in autumn and winter and am curious to see how it will look!

Oh, excuse me, I guess I tested myself
I'm sure the scent can't help it. After all the light citrus freshness in the summer heat, on this long-awaited somewhat cooler day I felt like a fragrance with substance. Obviously I stumbled into a scent here that doesn't suit me at all.

How could this have happened? The "list of ingredients" sound simply too tempting and also, as if it could meet my taste. Hay, clary sage, juniper - this awakened associations in me with the edgy green Goutal scents that I appreciate so much and obviously lured me onto the wrong track. I also like woody and spicy notes in dry fragrances very much and I find leather also exciting.

So why do I care so much about Chergui? This desert wind is so heavy and stuffy that it develops an enormous nerve factor for me. At the very beginning a beautiful honey scent, which seems to be made exciting by an interesting bitterness. But this moment is a dead end, unfortunately there is no development in this direction and the fragrance lacks for my terms any spice, woodiness, leatheriness, which I had hoped for and was curious. What remains is a heavy and cloggy sweetness that disappoints me. Quite durable apparently moreover.

Supplement:
i actually like Chergui much better on my husband (even with the still persistent heat). The fragrance is not one-dimensional and sweet, but pleasantly warm. Although he himself is only medium enthusiastic, he has willingly used up the little test. I would like to increase my rating from 5 to 7. Many thanks to Lenni for the fragrance!
