Dessert with warm cherry sauce
I sit in the restaurant. Only sparsely lit by small table lamps.
Outside rages a snowstorm, but in here is a warm atmosphere that makes you forget the outside. The waiter comes and puts the dessert in front of me on the table. Doubly enchanted!
Two years ago I held a sample of Vanilla Vibes in my hand and immediately fell in love with the vanilla scent. The 5ml were super fast gone and the next two years I could not get the perfume out of my head.
Recently, my interest in perfume is rekindled (am still quite a novice) and I ordered the large bottle on sale.
To my disappointment, the perfume smelled quite different than I remembered. At that time, the vanilla stood out extremely and was nice and warm. Now, however, I smelled rather the orchid out, with which I was absolutely not familiar. Also, the combination of vanilla and salt I did not know so far.
But after a few weeks of wearing I have changed my mind.
Even though I really love Christmasy, cozy vanilla scents, I wouldn't want to miss this scent. To me, like some others, it smells like - lying on the beach, salt water and sunscreen on my skin, and dripping vanilla ice cream.
The durability on my skin (rather dry) is about 5-6 hours and on clothes significantly longer. The described first wave of alcohol I also notice, yet that is gone after a few seconds.
So for me, Vanilla Vibes is my new vanilla summer fragrance and definitely worth a sniff test :)
