Only now and then
The Eau des Baux perfume from L'Occitane is for me no fragrance that I could wear every day. For me it has too little pepp, despite the pepper. But now and then ... the sweet combination of pepper, incense, cypress and tonka is just right!

Signature Scent from Ireland - new edition
Pomp&Co's Signature Scent goes back to the story of an Irish barbershop in Dublin, who back in the 1940s mixed his own hair pomades with various scented waters, giving his customers not only a beautiful haircut but also a distinctive scent when leaving the barbershop. Decades later, his grandchildren took over the barbershop from him and gave birth to the idea of having a perfumer re-issue their grandfather's then very popular Signature Scent. Great idea and so much for the storytelling! :)

When sprayed on, the top note lavender is perceived most strongly, followed by bergamot and lime. Immediately afterwards, the sandalwood with the amber is strongly present. In drydown it has a pleasantly subtle sweetish-smokey character. In my opinion, the sandalwood used is not the sweetish variety, but rather the tart variety. From the musk itself, I can personally perceive nothing.

It is not a complex fragrance, but those who like small niche fragrances and the fragrance components will not be disappointed by this fragrance. There is also a hair pomade from this brand with the same fragrance, a great idea if you want to combine both

Woody peppery fresh
... this is the best way to describe the STRAWANZA fragrance for me. Since I myself also come from Austria, I simply had to try this fragrance and I was not disappointed. Due to the special mixture with menthol, the Eau de Cologne has a unique character that I have never seen before. In any case it is a very masculine scent. Immediately after spraying it on, the top notes of pepper, clove, menthol and patchouli are very noticeable. Afterwards musk and cedar wood are very present. In the drydown the scent develops a very pleasant warm and spicy scent on the skin. I perceive the scent for about 6 hours, which is quite ok for an Eau de Cologne. The packaging carton is very stylish and the spray bottle itself was also lovingly wrapped with green tissue paper and golden cord. The price is acceptable for a small brand, where the product is not industrially manufactured, but filled by hand.

Fits perfectly with my beard care
I have been using the Beard Oil and Beard Balm from Ricki Hall Booze & Baccy for many years. When the Eau de Parfum was released I was very happy about it. In the beginning I was astonished that the fragrance of the perfume does not directly correspond to the beard care. But: as soon as you wear it in combination the two fragrances complement each other perfectly. I would classify the scent itself as vanilla/tobacco and the top note reminds me of Bay Rum, but it vanishes quite quickly.

Unisex fragrance in stylish flacon
I love the smell of Royall Vetiver Noir. It has a very floral note, but the vetiver doesn't miss out on the heart and base notes either. Unfortunately, the fragrance lasts only for a few hours and fades away relatively quickly. Almost too short for an eau de toilette. The bottle with the spray head is very well made. In my opinion, the fragrance itself is absolutely wearable for men and women.
