A true giver of joy*
No way! What's the point?

Oh so sorry, but after all this fragrance is called Pleasures, and every time I apply it I have for a millisecond the association of a predominantly skin-colored 80s movie poster, including 1-2 black bars.

Eat stupid, but eat like this, ... just because of this damn naming :)

In itself "Pleasures" is a nice term, like many others, but in a corresponding context it can be interpreted like this (almost every second word;) And that's why I'm hesitant to write this commentary for months, because I'm aware: as soon as I start it, you want to misunderstand everything:) Therefore I have marked possible ambiguities with * to avoid any misunderstandings.

Here the story and fragrance description:

Last year, in the hottest* summer since the weather was recorded, when I exchanged fresh scents with a perfume, he recommended Pleasures for Men to me like a shot from the hip* because he knows my preferences*. I trusted him blindly because he has a lot of experience... What? Both he and I are stock-hetero and we don't even know each other personally! It doesn't work like that, we are a serious community ... So let's continue with the text and finally to the scent, because it looks quite innocent*

Pleasures is very fresh from the first hiss (I'm more into rhyming;) It's based on a fine L'Aventure Knight note (or Creeds GIT), which is called Sky-Air chord + green leaves here. A little citric and a light fruit sweetness of the nectarines. A very pleasant mixture, which somehow comes across as nice and harmless.

So no Pleasures for Men? Wait ...

After about half an hour, a flowery touch is added, which makes it even softer and sweeter. The mix is subtly interspersed with the listed spice mix, even though the ingredients can hardly be sniffed out individually. Why should I? All in all, Pleasures smells very harmonious, a little light green and transparent at the same time, and despite a few feminine traits it has a certain masculinity. A refined, differentiated and attractive composition, which gains a solid oldschool touch towards the end with ebony and moss, while the sandalwood gets involved much earlier.

And how do we end up with a curve to the asterisks * ? Quite simply: our dear miniature golf also describes pleasures very aptly, whereby in the scenery of her first paragraph you only need to replace the penultimate word with "lecher" (and may she forgive me for the fun).

But back to the seriousness* (the name of the perpetrator;)

Pleasures for Men looks a little smug and curly, looks clean and well-groomed, but is at the same time almost almost. Because there are hardly any fragrance twins and the listed ones hardly apply. This Lauder is not a loud, but a good-humor:) A beautiful evergreen, preferably worn in spring and summer, in leisure and at work. The H&S are in the midfield, on clothing it lasts up to 8 hours, depending on the textile. His Sillage is always present at half arm length to exude a positive aura. Because no matter what comes to your mind about pleasures, as a fragrance it is

This could be something for you:)
67 Artemisia moved in a good two years ago as a blind purchase with me, and also just as quickly out again. At that time I was not yet 67, so wise enough to make a test before better. But joking aside, this Grünling is so inexpensive that any sampleSouken is unnecessary anyway:)

Why then a Kommi? Well, because there is a continuation of the story:

To one of my comments, a perfumer said that the discussed fragrance might also be something for her husband, whereupon I wanted to send her a remaining bottling. "But I'm afraid I have nothing more there, which would be to your liking, what I could offer you to exchange" she said about it, and I just "Do not worry, at the moment I'm trying to reduce my collection anyway".

In the end, I sent her eight bottlings + samples, so that her skull humming may also be properly worthwhile;) Because you always hope that the recipient at least one fragrance particularly like. And that could be (besides Study#17) the 67 Artemisia.

Although (or just because) the fragrance mail is still on the way to her, I now allow myself the fun to write to her herewith simply, whenever she will read this:

Dear Parfuma,

should the mail now have arrived and you immediately inquire about this fragrance, you will find my comment and I hope the Italian is not too green behind your ears. Because so I have also not felt him, but this fine fragrance seems quite mature than you expect in terms of price. But obviously I was not so far two years ago to appreciate this properly.

When I discovered yesterday that I still had a fragrance sample of 67 Artemisia I sprayed him immediately again 'times on and was surprised at the pleasant freshness. Citrus and mint are prominent, neroli fortunately not, but already from the beginning this warm green-dense Artemisia is with the party. A sophisticated, attractive melange that could have happily lasted for the next few hours. But after about 30 minutes Artemisia and in tow the similar smelling wormwood begin to dominate the elixir, which was unfortunately a bit too much of a good thing for me.

Obviously, this direction is not quite mine, because too dense and demanding. In addition, it also smells of something lovely hay as well as a little green tea, which should suit many, but me less ... Then, however, after about 2 hours, the fragrance is wonderfully gesettelt, by increasingly asserting the base notes and he comes across despite its complexity of the many notes very balanced and fine. This is ensured, among other things, the fragrant olive wood and a touch of sweet musk. And so the 67er still lasts for several hours - although (in total) after about 3-4 h only close to the skin, but forever.

And if you should read my Kommi only in 2 or 3 months times, all the better, because this Pomellato is actually a pronounced spring fragrance, and I wish you from the bottom of my heart that he meets your taste.

Conclusion: this fresh-green elixir smells finely composed, light-hearted and soothing - for both male and female alike.

My fragrance it was still not, but 67 Artemisia is definitely worth a recommendation, and not only because of the very good price-performance ratio.

Therefore, I am quite confident, dear Parfuma,

the could be what for you:)

Neroli & I ... that I can still experience this :)
The current average rating of 8.0 from 371 users speaks for itself, which is not a bad figure. And yet it should take a good three years until Dunhill's Icon moved in with me again, after he landed too fast in the bay at that time ...

Two things kept me from approaching him again: I remembered the distinctive scent more and more herbaceous, and according to the scent pyramid it contains a good portion of neroli. But now I simply ordered it again as a bottling with, and what should I say?

Wow ... give it to me !

So it worked out in the second attempt after all and the British beau was allowed to move in with me again, which also refers to his bottle. Because in terms of content, it's rather an odd one, even if a good one: Icon smells pretty unique, which is why I found something of its perfumer Carlos Benaïm on the Internet. To me this seems a bit irritating, almost like a personal record, although you please forgive his broken English:

"Damned... need more money, ... what can I do? Make a new frag... mmh, ... what sells? What shall I put in? ...I tink I taik neroli. When notting goes, neroli goes. Neroli is a crowd pleaser*. I will taik many neroli. But maybe neroli is too women-like... what shall I do? ...need to balance... let me see what I have on the men side: Pepper! ... "Yep, I will taik many pepper and other spicy stuff... so many that nobody easy tink Neroli is in..

This section should be sufficient at the moment to convey the essential scent of Icon. And sorry again for the bad english, whereby I would translate this *crowd pleaser with "Gruppenvergnügler", even though he is no "Everynicer" ;-) Because this Dunhill's too special for that. Here are the details:

Right when you spray on the WOW effect: What? Never smelled like that before. Unusual and really good. Basically, Icon throws everything it has into the balance, and then draws a rather linear scent progression. Although initially a beautiful citric note and a slightly smoky tobacco(?!) note is noticeable, the fragrance is always dominated by the combination of neroli + spice.

After about 1.5 hours, Icon begins to soften a little, become warmer, almost sweet, with the neroli increasingly blending in with the other notes. Fortunately (for me), because this is actually not a typical Neroli scent, because the black pepper always clearly resists. It brings a nice spiciness, which makes the fragrance tingle properly and always keeps it masculine. But cardamom, sage and juniper berry are also noticeable and make up about 50% of the wort in the mix, while the other half is accounted for by pepper.

Overall, the icon is very well balanced. A fine, soft, warm but at the same time lingeringly spicy fragrance. Its dense lightness is light, never heavy or dark, but pointed, peppery, a little provocative, but also sweet and soft. He hugs and pricks you at the same time - unusual, expressive, valuable !

On the skin it projects 5-6 hours at half arm length, on a shirt 3-4 hours longer. Dunhill's icon may not be a blind-buy candidate, but it is an absolute recommendation for striking fragrances. If Neroli wasn't standing in the fragrance pyramid, I probably wouldn't have gotten there right away, it is so strongly balanced by the spices. That's why this note became attractive for me and my personal highlight is that the icon becomes even better when it's placed backwards, with a bit of clear vetiver to counter it. So Carlos Benaïm actually managed to put a neroli scent on me and I thank him for it with the words

Neroli & I... that I this once experience may :)

Must Have ... not only for Ü30
Sure, this Loewe tends more to a "classic" fragrance and is probably worn predominantly by Ü30. But just as you can meet an enthusiastic 20-year-old in a classical concert, this should also apply to this Spaniard, whose acquaintance I would like to recommend contrary to the target group of the diagram expressly also the younger. Here are my reasons:

Loewe pour Homme

smells fresh and invigorating ----- check
appears valuable and exquisite -------- check
fits almost every occasion ----- check
is wearable at any time of year - check
projects an ideal sillage ---- check
achieves a high durability -- check
is certified according to Fresh21 (ツ) check
offers a top P/L ratio --- check

How could even a 20-year-old hesitate? Just because he reads oak moss in the fragrance pyramid? Well then first read on :-)

In the first hour, the Loewe comes across refreshingly citrusy, and immediately with a decent spice impact. He impresses with an expressive dark, full lemon and the exact right dosage of basil. A strong duo, whereas the tangerine and lavender rather occupy the supporting roles. After that, the citrus notes slowly recede by about a third, so that after just under 2 hours the spiciness becomes a bit more prominent. At the same time, a few flowers in the heart make the fragrance finer, brighter and softer, but it remains sharply spiced - probably also by a little pepper, although it is not listed in the pyramid. A fascinatingly balanced melange whose attributes make this Loewe so appealing. Yes, this charming interplay of citrus, mild flora and rich spice is unique and you are really spoiled :)

At the same time, its flirtatious play with the notes is based on a mix of oakmoss and vetiver that is anything but stale, unusually bright, fresh and invigorating. It mixes in right from the start, but only makes itself more noticeable from hour 4: not a bit dull, bitter or musty as one knows from many 70/80s scents. This is also helped by a pinch of musk and amber, which cushion it soft and warm. The whole still interwoven with some citrus and the fine tingling spice of the (peppery) basil, the sillage (on a shirt) is still easily perceptible after 6 hours at half arm's length. An 8-hour office day creates this Spaniard loose.

Loewe pour Homme is just as elegant business as striking leisure fragrance, but is also suitable for going out, especially from the second hour. At the same time, it appears masculine, but not too masculine, because it always plays out its dancing charm. So I am convinced that its timeless spicy freshness suits all semesters, and would therefore like to put this "modern classic" also the younger ones to heart :) Because I see in him a

Have fun with the cyber mint :)
I start times with 'nem small rhyme, that has already inspired many a Kommi:

Already for the second time I had him,
now he was allowed to go forever.

O.K., for that they have turned around earlier at DSDS and booed in the direction of the exit, but corresponds to the facts;) But for 'nen real Schmunzler I still provide later. So, first of all to the Luna Rossa:

The prelude is strong, immediately the mint is dominant and is underpinned by the freshness of bitter orange. Although the fruit is already after a quarter of an hour somewhat more in the background, but thereby gives the lavender more space. It is more of the sweet variety and gives the fragrance something light and transparent. In addition, however, something unusual is also found here.

For Luna Rossa acts cool and warm at the same time. Is this perhaps due to the addition "Nana" of mint? Because that is on the one hand cool, almost metallic, yes I somehow associate "cyber" with it. It has something modern, almost futuristic sterile. But it also brings a soft warmth that makes it fuller and rounder. So I imagine that this mint is quite feminine ... Nana just;)

Something slightly powdery is also to be perceived, but you may be too tempted that this would have to be so with a Prada. Drum shows the diagram rightly only 7% to this ... I hardly make out the clary sage, because above all floats the spacy mint-lavender mix which is the main statement of Luna Rossa. So it projects to me at half arm's length for about 6 hours on the skin, 2-3 hours longer on clothing, becoming a bit softer, brighter and less metallic towards the back. The often-maligned Ambroxan does not interfere here at all, but its light synthetic becomes here skillfully a stylistic device of the Pradas.

Conclusion: Anyone who does not yet know this fragrance and stands on mint, should test it alone because of its unusualness times. An elegant elixir that can be worn on almost all occasions except midsummer, and is very reliable due to its linear progression. I, however, was the fine-synthetic lavender-cool/minzig-warm ambivalence but a little too unapproachable, which brings us now to the announced Schmunzler:

Over about 1.5 years I had the Luna Rossa now already for the second time, truly a good fragrance. Nevertheless, I found that I do not wear it often enough. And since I just reduce my collection anyway, he was also allowed to move on.

So put in the souk and experienced the following with a Parfuma, whose nick *BleuDQ* is already program, when she wrote me:

"Have just sent [the money]...but as I see now, 4 ct too little....now also do not know, am actually very for correct deals, but 4 ct forward? Any ideas? Do you want to just credit it for future deals? Or you spray yourself again extra thick with now my fragrance;)"

My answer: "I would be happy if you come to my fun team ... because you have just provided a very sweet laugh with the 4 cents ;-))))) One always wishes for such a correct perfume ... so sponge wiped over and off for it."

So I got to know our dear BleuDQ and wish her from now on

much fun with the cyber mint :)
