Violet winter wonderland
This is so whimsical , when i wear it , it makes me think of majical fairy forests, sprinkled in glittering snow..... Absolutley Gorgeous !

A little known bargain Gourmand :)
I first bought this a couple of winters ago , after reading many good reviews online. Glad i did !! This is now one of my winter staple gourmands ( along with Violette Angel by Mugler - also discontinued as is HC - boo ). I believe it to be discontinued , but its still quite easy and cheap to buy ( Im stocking up for when its no longer avail - £10 for 100ml in UK! )
This scent is for the fun , happy party moods..Plenty of other scents for "serious" or "formal " occasions , this is NOT one of them ..PURE SUGARY SWEET FUN !!! It is the perfect antidote to the long , cold , wet miserable winters we have in my part of the world ( Northen England - "Up In't 'ills )
So , to the scent - It starts with an unusual blast of Rhubarb , pink pepper and white tea - Not your usual sweet perfume. Quite different to many I have tried. The heart is pure caramel candy sweetness , with a little bit of rose and jasmine to stop it been too cloying.
For a "cheap" £10 perfume the lasting power and sillage are of the scale ! DO NOT OVERSPRAY as this is some STRONG stuff. It lasts a good 8hr on my perfume eatng skin , and as for on clothes , well , i can still smell it on my fake furry white coat from last winter.
The cooler weather seems to be making a return here now ( bye bye summer) , thats a shame , but I am looking forward to the first proper chilly day when i will be breaking out the Hard Candy .

Opium haters may be surprised !
I love the original Opium.... But many do not...I say to all Opium haters - Try this , is is nothing like original Opium at all. .....Now i love them both , but they are two very different perfumes
OPIUM VAPEURS is such a classy , wearable summer/spring scent - Gorgeous ! Ive had so many compliments when wearing this. True its an oriental , but one that you can comfortably wear in hot weather . This is a light and breezy scent that also lasts quite well ( for a scent of this type) . The orange blossom/mandarin/jasmine combo is just delicious.

OPIUM VAPEURS is such a classy , wearable summer/spring scent - Gorgeous ! Ive had so many compliments when wearing this. True its an oriental , but one that you can comfortably wear in hot weather . This is a light and breezy scent that also lasts quite well ( for a scent of this type) . The orange blossom/mandarin/jasmine combo is just delicious.

Nice enough affordable scent , but no longlevity
I think Avon were trying for an "Alien" vibe when they created this. Nice packaging and chunky bottle , but its a shame the scent doesnt last!
Theres definitley a jasmine/wood/amber accord in this , similar to alien , but "Nuit" is far more discreet. Not to be confused as an "ALien" substitute as its is both similar but also different enough for it to not be a straight "copy cat" fragrance. Suitable for cool/cold weather and evening wear.
On my skin this scent lasts all of 30mins , which is a big dissapointment as it is a nice scent. Shame as I do like the actual scent and the bottle , I know its inexspensive , but I want even cheap perfumes to last longer than 30min. If it was a stronger and longer lasting it would be an affordable winner.
I have many Avon scents , I find them hit and miss .
