Autumn is looming...

Yes, it's a matter of fact. We are in the middle of season transition and autumn is looming. Morning breeze is getting more sparkling, crispy, we begin to experience chilly days, and temperatures are slowly going down. Daylight is narrowing day by day and sooner all leaves will turn yellow and red before falling down.

I can feel it in the air, in my finger, in my skin and in my nose. Fall’s my favorite, it is such a sensory season, no question about it. I am in need of woody-ambery-smoky-creamy-resinous-leathery scents, something that smells like smoky bonfires, apple trees, pickling spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, old leaves on the ground, although I am fond of citrus-green-aquatic-floral ones.

But there is a time when your mood starts searching for something new, when temperature has a big effect on aromatic stimulus, and fresh and light aroma starts annoying you. Autumn smells like beeswax candles on the dinner table…

I have many cozy fall scents in my collections, maybe too many. Hence, I guess this weekend I will put my summer scents back in their boxes and store them in the wardrobe, while bring the fall’s ones back to life.

Here you are just a few of my favorites: Ecre Noire, Pal Zileri Cuoio, Tabac Gentle Men’s, Lapidus Gold Extreme, Zara Tobacco Collection, Zara Black Tag, Ungaro III Aromatique, Police Royal Black, and Loewe Esencia.

Let’s start a new redolent adventure!
