Dark and sexy, with a dirty edge.
Man this one packs a wallop! Sepal is sexy and dirty and loud. No shy, retiring violets here of any kind. I get angry orange blossom, sweat, makeup, musk and sweet tangy citrus.
I adore this, but I can see why a lot of people wouldn't. It isn't gentle or calm, it is strident and takes-no-prisoners. Smells like flowers and fruit in the hot sun, with a blast of sweat and musk for good measure. I wear it when I feel like a messy night out on the town. I can't imagine wearing this somewhere polite, let alone to work.
This makes ELdO's Putain de Palaces look like a chaste maiden by comparison. This chick is an unwashed beauty. The smells of human mashed with the smells of flowers and syrup. Heavy, sweet and beautiful!
Also there is a mothball-like edge to me, which I think is the indolic part?, either way it works and stops the perfume from being sickly-sweet. I love it, but I suspect it's a "love-or-hate-" kind of perfume.

Chai with Turkish Delight!
This was not as gourmand as I expected. I got a strong, dusty rose in the drydown that was really lovely. To me it smells like milk, spices, dark sugar and dry, velvety roses. It lasts a good long time on my skin, and the projection is pretty loud, not for the office!
Glimmer is a sweet, vanilla bomb, but still quite quirky and unusual. Not your average gourmand. It reminds me of hot rice pudding, with spices and raisins in it. And maybe some candied rose petals thrown over the top for good measure. Sweet, hot and steamy. The sugared rose actually makes me think of Turkish Delight, Yum!
This leans kinda feminine to me, but I guess most sweet gourmands do. Also don't be scared by the opening!, it is very VERY spicy initially, but it calms down after a few minutes and is very well balanced from then on.

Gothic Greenery
I love this stuff. It smells like crushed leaves and unripe berries and rain and darkness. Very gothic and romantic in a cold, slightly eerie way.
The wet soil smell reminds me of De Profundis by Serge Lutens, and whilst they're both somewhat gothic and quirky, Hollow is much stronger, louder and lasts for a lot longer. It's also not as floral as De Profundis, more green and bitter. I get lots of oakmoss in the base, heaps of unripe berries up top and nothing but violet leaf and cyclamen in the middle. It's powerful stuff, I love it in hot weather, where it makes me feel cool and dark, even when it's blisteringly hot outside!
