Move Along....Nothing to See Here
Once upon a time this was a nice green aromatic fragrance made by Houbigant. It was distinctive, crisp and green with beautiful juniper, and had a lovely amber dry down.

Nowadays, it still smells somewhat of itself, however it has been cheapened by Dana to the point of being no longer viable. Also, lasting power is down from all day to a couple of hours.

If you want something fresh and green from the 1990s, I would recommend Adidas Sport Field instead. It's a much nicer cheapie.

Rather Respectable Masculine
Okay, I have a confession to make. I go to another site, browse women's perfume, and search for reviewers that exclaim, "OMG! This is such an old lady scent!" If it's an older perfume, something from the 20s, 30s, or 40s, I give it a serious second look and a sampling (or blind buy if cheap enough).

Why? Do I want to smell like someone's grandmother? Not at all. I just remember a time when women's perfumery was much less sweet. These fragrances are often less sweet than masculine fragrances of today. Plus, lines get reformulated and are often stripped down. This has happened with Blue Grass. What is left is the (excellent) original bone structure. In this case, an excellent soapy floral, heavy on the lavender and spice, and divine on the right man.

This one would be superb on a spring day, fresh out of the shower smelling of Ivory soap. A spritz on the chest, a clean short sleeve shirt and this guy would be a force to contend with. Overall I give this a strong 7 out of 10 as a masculine...4 out of 10 as a feminine due to the stripped down nature

Exceptional...it's not (but it's not bad either)!
My opinion is going to come somewhere in between Silverfire and Drseid's reviews. I have a lot of respect for them both.

I agree with Silverfire's assessment of the fragrance for the most part. It's not a ground-breaker but it's well blended, and very pleasant. Longevity, on the other hand, I am in Drseid's camp. I wish this lasted on my skin but it just does not.

Overall, while I wouldn't buy it, even with the $20 off coupon, I am happy to keep the free samples from Fragrancenet to refresh myself at the office. It makes a nice fragrance for that.

Fruity Body Wash/Shampoo
Synthetic lavender and grapefruit notes open this, along with a fruity note, namely berry. Remarkably potent and persistent. Go easy on the trigger with this one folks or you will be sorry.

Smells cheap, soapy, clean, with a little tang of berries. While this is never going to be one of my favorites, I think the body wash industry should take note, this would smell great as a body spray and wash package.

Overall, a thoroughly average fragrance of the 1990s. Not bad to pop on for a casual Friday. It's actually a bit on the cheap and cheerful side, although the dingy gray box and the somber looking bottle would never convey that. I think this one could have been a success in its day if they had thought about those things.

Should Have Been Called Vindictus
I sampled this one at Nordstrom today. Initially, I was underwhelmed with the top notes and the synthetic, too sweet jasmine. Within 30 minutes this had changed from something I don't like to a scrubber fragrance from hell. Sweet, cloying, and vile to my nose. I will credit it with tenacity, because it took one heck of a scrub to get it off my arm.

If you like it, you should get great sillage and longevity with this, I will grant it that. Not recommended for a blind buy.
