Wow. It can happen that fast and I'm in love. Exactly with this fragrance. I now understand why many "Bal D'afrique" users associate this fragrance with the words cheerful, happy and lucky. It exudes exactly that. It's a happy summer scent that really asks everyone to dance with its charming, cuddly nature.

I actually imagined this fragrance to be more exotic and flashy. But fortunately, it is not. It really is super pleasant. Sweet, warm rather than cold, and beautiful. It smells a bit like the breeze you get when you walk by Lush. I absolutely love it! And even though it's sweet, it's not heavy at all. It's more like a soft, delicate cloud. Gorgeous!

Whether I would really wear this fragrance, I do not know. But a masterpiece he is all the time. Replica is really as good as always on point with its fragrances and their descriptions. "Lipstick on" is just times exactly what it says. A perfume that smells like lipstick. However, it is this Vinatge lipstick, which one finds (if one is lucky) still with grandma in the make-up box.

The scent is powdery, matte and has a slightly tart note. It is not sweet at all and also not floral. It is not gourmand and not fresh, not citrusy and not aquatic. It's just completely out of the ordinary. You have to like it. And it's a mystery to me how they created these 1-to-1 authentic lipstick notes. That alone is a reason why I have to own this perfume. Because it's just totally unique! I'm really surprised and half genuinely a fan simply because of this realization. It's so vintage in a bottle. Awesome! Time travel is possible after all..... at least in your mind. Really super interesting. I would not know when I should wear this fragrance and yet I am absolutely thrilled!

Association: pure summer wellness vacation. I sit in the sauna and am deeply relaxed. The infusion drips onto the hot stone. Hmm Mandarin. Fresh and tangy meets hot stone. The typical sauna scent. I don't want to leave here. I look through the glass pane. Behind it I see the pool outside with a small splashing waterfall. In the background the big green trees are basking in the evening sun. Wonderful! I enjoy the silence and am in the here and now.

This fragrance is so beautiful. I sniffed it for the first time today and I am in love. The tangerine smells so fresh. Not old or powdery at all. And the basil note adds that special something. This scent smells 1 on 1 like a sauna. It smells like a spa, wellness, relaxation and vacation. A fragrance that makes me dream! I am thrilled!

Wow, now that's an interesting creation. "Ylang in Gold": OFFENSIVE! First of all, it must be said that this bottle and the "gold juice" contained in it really looks very beautiful and classy. Since not only the nose has something of it but also the eye.

But now to the fragrance:
What one immediately perceives is in my nose a green, absolutely tropical vanilla. Ylang-ylang is rather further back and comes for me not quite so much to the fore and that's good. It could have been a bit too much otherwise. Another prominent note is coconut, which smells very fresh, so more like a green coconut and not as "nutty" as you usually get. Very nice indeed! If I close my eyes, I'm on a tropical beach drinking fruity cocktails with alcohol (because you can smell it very strongly there too in a positive sense). The sun glitters on the surface of the sea. In the background, beautiful colorful tropical flowers dance in the wind. A gentle breeze carries a light vanilla sunscreen note to my nose. Ah yes, summer is so glorious and carefree.

All in all, it's an insanely interesting and pleasant summer scent. I am a big fan!

"Replica - By The Fireplace". I imagined you completely different and yet you impress me so much!

The first spray: "Hmm, strange. Smoky, vanilla, mystical, incense-like. Not my case. Or is it? ..... Nooo ..... Oh I don't know, I'm confused."
Even though the name describes this scent so insanely well, I didn't expect this scent experience in the same way. I imagined it to be different smoky, different sweet (more in the marshmallow direction) and generally just completely different. And yet, I couldn't keep my hands off of it. I couldn't stop sniffing it and as so often happens, the turning point came into play with this perfume. After two days, I got used to his style, his character and fell in love. Even though the smoky and sweet notes smell very different from what I expected. It's very unique and definitely makes a statement. It's sweet, smoky and has that spiciness that makes the scent so unisex. It's insanely cozy and kind of mysterious but in a modern way. The longevity and sillage are killer! And when you apply it to your skin and sniff it half an hour later, it just develops such a pleasant sweetness and a stunning beauty.
What I had to get used to is that incense note. It's certainly not for everyone. However, it rounds out the scent perfectly and gives it just that certain something that makes it so unique.
I am thrilled and in love! Surely it is rather a fragrance for the cooler season, but I would also sit in the summer at this campfire and with a vanilla ice cream to see the blazing flames dancing ?
