Bleu de Chanel - Elegant classic
I waited a long time to order a sample of that perfume. Chanel's always been into fashion and perfume. Classic, clean, sophisticated, sophisticated but never ostentatious. Yet always up to date. Bleu de Chanel is clearly trimmed for class and elegance. No real rough edges but still a certain refinement. For me not as announced a purely fresh and citric fragrance. For me that is for example Acqua Viva or Note du Yuzu. Here there is rather a well-composed scent from fresh, warm to woody and soft.
At the beginning a very balanced fresh but also fruity start. Rather the orange that dominates fruity and fresh. Shortly the reminiscence of grapefruit. But there is a note that I cannot describe but smells very exciting. It loses itself after the first hour...but the fragrance quickly becomes more substantial. Less fresh but rather fruity and woody. Vetiver and cedar are recognizable. After two hours the scent is even too warm-sweet for me. Not in an unpleasant way. Overall it remains very balanced. Now I am a friend of really crisp citric scents with lemon, grapefruit and yuzu. So I like it to get warm, soft and sweet quickly. But this is also an exercise for me to expand my scent horizon. Shelf life and silage are not very strong for me either. But as the classic, noble and valuable appearance of Chanel perfumes is always recognizable by the bottle, this perfume is also a very good representative of its kind. Classic and noble and for many occasions.

An airhead went out to explore the earth
All I can say up front is. The conditions were clearly bad. My scent preferences are completely contrary to what I have read about Encre Noire. Now I am quite new here in the forum and thought the following. I can't just snoop around where I feel safe and know my way around. It must also be something new and different. Only then I will train my nose. Flacon very chic and more valuable than the price suggests. Carefully a spray on a paper strip. Nothing that gloomy at first...ok. Now on the arm from a little distance. Ahhh yes. Now I know what's going on. Earth, incense, leather, fuel oil, cold smoke, burnt log. The smell is really getting to you. So spray it on in small doses, or it'll be overpowering. Smells almost unbearable up close to me. Too tightly this complex smell rises into my head. The association of incense leads to a slight dizziness. But discreetly sprayed on and smelled from a safe distance it is much more interesting. A soft, warm, fireplace room scent. Not the oriental kind with honey and sweet tobacco, rather tart and angular. If and how I wear it is still questionable. Definitely not meant for the summer. Rather a contrast for cold winter days. But I'm happy to stick my nose into other fragrances even if I'm not a big fan now, I have broadened my horizon.

Lost Fresh Food
Deja vu... I'm reading Rocha's here and I see this perfume bottle. Immediately the memory of this fragrance is so present as if it had entered my nose yesterday. Fresh, citrus, spicy. Clear like water, angular and sharp like glass, fresh and green like a herb meadow with a few spring flowers. Why the smell disappeared from my everyday life over 20 years ago is actually unforgivable. But it was right back in my memory, a clear picture of this well-balanced perfume, which can be described as classic. Even though it has a certain simplicity, the fragrance is very unique and distinctive. It's not a revolution, not a star on the shelf, but for me a clear statement. Cool and clear with summer in the heart.
I consider durability here to be relatively strong and above the average of many other citrus-fresh perfumes. Silage falls off clearly after 2 hours but not completely. If you like it classically fresh, without complex substructure and without much flowers and wood, please take it

Make my Day
Can a fragrance turn the day around? Shadows become light. Frustration becomes desire. Convulsion becomes dance. The sun shines on a rainy day. For me, a Felix Felicis of scents. Because I am a sour citric fragrance fan and my body and mind lets the endorphins dance, Note de Yuzu is the king of the perfume shelf. Here the Yuzu fruit is surrounded by ingenious supporters who tickle the potential of the Japanese fruit even more. Grapefruit adds another facet to the bitter note and mandarin orange enhances the fruity note of Yuzu. Salt and algae make the fragrance a bit brittle and tart. But that is not a disadvantage for me. The fragrance becomes more durable and more profound. Musk gives the substructure which does not dominate the fragrance at the end but simply rounds it off. But it always remains the Yuzu fruit of the clock and who likes citric, fresh and tart will love this fragrance. Just a real lucky charm for good and bad days !

A boat trip that's fun
Cast off. The name promises a sea voyage and friends of such a scented expedition will get what they expect. Sprayed on, this one-dimensional scent unfolds wonderfully fresh on the skin. It really has something of cucumber although it does not contain it. Nothing here is dominant let alone extreme. But the aquatic scent has a pleasant clarity. The floral mimosa is discreet but also wood and musk are only minimally used after 3 to 4 hours. I don't really recognize apple but moss probably develops this fresh cucumber scent. As I said, not much happens, but for me it is a wonderful everyday scent for the summer that remains discreetly inconspicuous but pleasant.
