Complex freshener with depth
He's complex. He's a real handful for me. Since I am not a real professional like many of you here (and the descriptions are really sensational) it is difficult for me to describe the many odour sensations. I try it. The start is what I know and love. Bergamot here in a multi-faceted combination with the tart grapefruit and lime and the appeal of herbs. But right after that follow floral notes that I usually like to fear. But well dosed they play around the still dominating freshness. And it doesn't get too sweet either. That is great! After some time the fresh notes fade into the background. But they still remain noticeably in the nose. Now there is a tangy and spicy touch with leather and wood. But with Elysium I notice for the first time that all the notes act together in harmony. Here I come back to the slight overstrain but overall I still have the realization: the fragrance was created by real professionals and leaves me as a very interested sniffer!

Fresh and free
The smell brings back memories. Cool Water & Quasar used to be my favourite in the early 90s. That fresh wind that blows through your nose. Turquoise & Blue. Wild bubbling water, strong wind, a green meadow, steel blue sky. This scent picks me up very well. But as fast as it overcomes me it remains very one-dimensional. It remains long and constant on my skin. But tends to get a little annoying if applied too much. It's a great scent for travelling, excursions, hiking. So more of an outdoor fanatic. Grass, moss and also the apple clearly get into your nose. Nutmeg and cedar round off the aquatic dominated scent and give it some depth. For me it clearly belongs in my current collection. I was missing an aquatic scent. And besides, it awakens memories of earlier times...

Blu Mediterraneo - Bergamotto di Calabria - Blue Blue Blue - Bergamot Fresh, Fresh, FRESH !
Aqua di Parma has so far caused a subliminal distance in me. Not explainable... Well, it should be something citrusy/fresh. Always my first choice. There it was written...Blu Mediterraneo should be a good choice. Great blue, great name, I just order the little bottle in the blue. And then I put it on. Wonderful ! Bergamot is a symbol for Italian freshness. A clear and pure fragrance with the typical tart undertone. And it stays. It remains clear and tart on the skin. Does not become too sweet, does not become musty. This Italian pleasure remains for many hours. Bellisimo!

L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme - Loyal companion of my life
I can't even say when it began ... over 20 years, I'm sure. I only know it was love at first sight. This overwhelming fresh note of Yuzu that brings many companions with it that make the fragrance more multidimensional and profound than many other citrus/fresh scents. With me this fresh note remains for a long time and when it then fades away there is still a pleasant and complex scent composition that envelops me pleasantly. Small anecdote : I am sitting with my wife in a beautiful restaurant. It is already late and we are the last guests and still enjoy our digestive. Suddenly the cook looks into the dining room and looks at me questioningly and says. L'Eau d'Issey ? I nod - and he says that he recognizes this scent everywhere and that he finds it so unique. He is right!
