You know - you got me with the love and feeling
Amouage - a perfume brand that polarizes.
If you meet the brand for the first time, you first meet
probably on the scents "Reflection M." and "Interlude M.".
Two polarizing and well-known fragrances. If you look at - or better said -
you can smell the other scents from the house of Amouage quickly,
that the brand also has much more to offer.

Lyric Man - never before has a name been more fitting.

Flacon: For many a simple bottle. A bottle like any other bottle in the Amouage-Man line. But here it is not the tangible that makes the bottle "beautiful". But much more what we can see and not directly feel. A gradient. From black to red - from red to black.
Black - a colour that in poetry often stands for the mysterious, the mystical or simply for silence. Red - a colour that in poetry is always associated with love, desire, vitality or hatred. It is the romance inherent in these colours that make the bottle special.

Fragrance: For many a simple fragrance. Flowery. Spicy.
The scent is nothing new. It's more the familiar. A dark scent of roses that meets a multitude of well-known woody/spicy notes. If the rose were a personification, she would not try to love you. She'd do anything to make you love her. And the spicy base that joins the rose after some time would try to bind you to it. And I admit: I needed a few attempts until I learned to love the fragrance. To be exact, three attempts. I used to think flowery scents weren't for me. Like many others I was fixated on perfume after some time on "oudige" and "oriental" fragrances. If you let yourself in on the fragrance, you will notice that the fragrance has much more to offer than just smelling of rose. In my case: another page on me and my new favorite and signature scent.

Lyric Man doesn't want to polarize. It is rather the little things that make this fragrance special.

Are you serious, Jeremy???
First of all: I didn't buy the fragrance personally, I wouldn't... See more below.

Scent: is OK. Doesn't look high or bad. Smells like an Ambroxan bunting a la Sauvage and has a certain resemblance to Coach M.

Why I wouldn't buy the fragrance: simply because of the image and the bad start.
1. Countless different prices to start with. No exact presentation and transparency to his "fans". Just a mess of its own.
2. The price is way too high. In particular if he actually demands the 3 fold. Here we are at 3-400 euros. Such prices can be demanded if you are convinced of the quality - which the fragrance does not do.
3. What the... is that for a presentation? My condolences to everyone who, with such bad cardboard packaging and such a lid, actually believes that the guy is thinking about the environment. :D The guy who drives a Ferrari... D
It wouldn't have cost anything to design a proper packaging. Or a lid. For the sake of the environment, I also love cork...
And the bottle first...
It wouldn't have hurt to enclose a little letter with each bottle. When you're supposed to want to give something back to your fans. To express this in mass production costs less than 5 cents.

Sad how he rips off his fans - ripped off with inferior quality.

Great Britain meets United States
Who doesn't know the stereotypically depicted English and Americans? The English charm is always accompanied by a cup of Earl Grey. The American masculinity always symbolized with a glass of rum/whiskey/Bourbon. Often in movies - so also last in the movies Kingsman 1 and 2.
The first part plays only in England and therefore takes up only the English facets. In the second part the English "agents" meet agents of a branch in the USA.
The fragrance, which was created in collaboration with the film crew, reflects exactly this stereotypical atmosphere.

Fragrance: The fragrance starts with a perceptible tea note and a hint of lemon through the neroli note.
Not pushy at all, rather charmingly sweet. Just like the English way - quiet, quiet and not "meaningful". Then the heart note or the second part of the Kingsman series (the American) comes out. A very strong woody rum note. Rum accompanied by tobacco and vetviver. The scent gets louder. You can smell the rum and the vetiver note very strongly. It is intrusive and for some it is certainly too aggressive - just "male".
The decay does the whole thing with a soft oud note that ranks somewhere between the English charm and the American "impertinence".

A really well done fragrance, that doesn't only work and please in connection with the movie series.

Grand Bazaar of Fragrances
For more than 11 years now, the fragrance has enchanted the perfume world. To me, the scent came out as a great birthday present. Until now, as a student, I had unfortunately not the opportunity to call this fragrance my own.
But now to the perfume.
Flacon: The flacon is simple yet beautiful and noble.

Scent: Wow! This is my first comment and I dedicate it to this great fragrance. :)
Already with the first sprayer the smell killed me. A spice bomb. And somehow the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul shot me in the head. A wonderful place that has more to offer for some connoisseurs than counterfeit goods. Vaults that are so old that when you enter the bazaar you think you've been catapulted into the past. Artists who earn their daily living with paintings on ceramics. Dealers who offer antiques from long ago. Immigrants who secure their livelihood by cleaning their shoes, the sometimes unfriendly tourists. Sweets dealers who offer soo delicious sweets - every dentist is happy about that. And much more... And the spice merchants who offer spices from all over the world, and everything so close together that the smell kills you. Does it smell like cinnamon or oregano or vanilla or or or... And it was the same with the first sprayer. For one or the other this may sound quite colorful and negative. Not for me, I like the spice explosion, and the versatility - which reminds me of the bazaar. :)

H/S are unfortunately not as good as the Grand Bazar and the price as the smell... Still quite acceptable.
