Smells like firs, alright--the thick, sweet sap and the green needles. A whole mountainside of it. So natural and addictive. My only (minor) complaint is that it isn't even stronger. But it's so beautiful and unique that I will happily re-spray.

This is the only fig fragrance I can wear. I have tried many, including the one by Diptyque, which is more like coconut than fig, but Fig Tree is the fresh, sweet fruit straight off the tree to the point where you can even smell the essence of the tree itself just as the fig is plucked from it. I understand that Sonoma Scent Studio has closed, and I hope it's temporary as it would be a travesty to lose all of those precious creations. I'm really glad I bought a bottle of this while I could. There will never be a fig this perfect again.

The parfum version of Bois des Iles is one of the most marvelous things I have ever smelled in my life. It might not be my signature, but it's one of those that I can not live without. It smells like all the notes listed, but somehow all these notes enable the sandalwood to stand out and shine. And it doesn't smell chemical, in a world where so many perfumes smell like chemicals these days, even many Chanels. In comparison to the EDT (the one right before the new EDP), it is more concentrated, rounder, a tad sweeter somehow but not sugary sweet, and it lasts a long time. Sillage isn't enormous, but it's comfortable and certainly is there if someone were to smell you up-close.

I have been coveting this for a very long time. Smells like dark forest and an underbrush of ripe berries. Reminds me very much of Bois de Paradis, which I regretfully sold or swapped some time ago. But I think this has less sweetness to it. It's a beautiful, quality fragrance that does not smell like chemicals.

Bowmakers smells like a concert of strings deep in the forest. You can smell the tree resins, the bark, the broken pine needles, and the shiny violins. I get huge sillage and longevity from just one good spray to the wrists. I made this my signature because I can not get enough of it.
