Afternoon Delight is a real treat for the nose.
A fragrant cocktail with an umbrella and one that beams you straight to a Caribbean beach.
An orange bill, soaked up with sunshine.
A vanilla straw wrapped in green grass.
Creamy vanilla ice cream, creamy, delicious and all without the alcohol.
A mental movie of you lying on a white beach, the palm fronds whispering softly in the warm, balmy wind.
You are lying on a comfortable lounger, wearing a large sun hat and gazing out to sea, lost in thought.
A dream and certainly too sweet for some people.
But delicious, even if you just sniff it.

It's not as if enough has not already been written about Le Bain.
Almost everyone knows it and sometimes loves or hates this fragrance.
Once a MUST and today a beautiful memory that I like to wear again and again.
Le Bain Parfum in the small "white" bottle is even more intense and denser than the vintage EdP and even more so than the current version of Le Bain.
It is this mixture of chypre and powder puff.
The first spray almost blows you away because the concentrated load of vanilla, musk and amber fogs the senses. It's as if your nose is in an inflated balloon full of powder, cuddly and 6 aromas - sorry - erotic aromas.
It does get you a little high *g* . But it's the whole thing that makes Le Bain Parfum what it is. This fruity-green in between, like these little jolts of electricity from a TENS machine, bring a smile to my face. The headache-inducing jasmine and lily of the valley do the same. They simply fit and perfectly round off this wummser.
It's always the dose that makes the poison and 1-2 sprays are easily enough here.
It will always remain in my collection and give me a nice feeling every now and then.

The wind is blowing at the top of its voice today, making its rounds across fields and meadows. The noses are already excited and have swept their nostrils clear.

After breakfast in the herb garden, they want to start sniffing. They head out to the meadow terraces, where they can let their noses run free.

They are a little higher up from the city,
so that every nose is in a special mood.
From up there, they can catch everything and leave unpleasant odors far behind.

They have given lavender faces, for a fun fougère life.
Patchouli fairy tales and cedar figures dance in the wind until your nostrils are almost tired.

And the grapefruit and pepper make sure that no one turns out the lights.
To ensure that Lavender and Patch don't get up to any mischief, oakmoss
makes them both laugh.

The first scent notes are already tickling, it's nice how they flit through the noses.

They glow wonderfully like a blue butterfly, gently grazing our nose hair.

Now fougère laughter is in everyone's nostrils, soft and cozy high above the meadow terraces. Fougère scent high above the city, thoughts become a tiny leaf,
Scented dance fades, with cheers in the wind, until happy noses are home again.

Orodion Blanc sounds like a distant planet. Far away from all wars, unrest, environmental disasters, lies and deceit. A small star that somehow pulsates in the sky if you fix your gaze on it long enough.
A creamy almond dessert, almost like a mousse. Briefly caramelized with almost unripe plums and deglazed with a dash of cedar juice. It is stirred smooth in a fireproof bowl. Keep adding amber and vanilla brittle until the mixture is creamy. Now, right now, the bowl is hung over blazing sandalwood, on chains of nutmeg pearls. The steam of sparkling, dense and woody sandalwood wafts around this creamy mousse and gives such a wonderful aroma. It is not a sweet dessert, but a creamy poem that delights your nose.
Sandalwood, just the way I like it. Although I tend to approach sandalwood at a distance.
A far cry from Arabesque, to which it is compared. For me, it has a completely different fragrance DNA.
Orodion Blanc is extremely pleasant to wear and could even enrich my collection.

Luna... such a beautiful name. Not just for a fragrance. Luna, the moon. Mysterious, sometimes bright, sometimes dark, sometimes red, sometimes yellow. Sometimes mystically obscured by fog, or visible during the day. Often sung about and worshipped. Luna...
This fragrance is neither mysterious nor mystical. To my nose, it doesn't resemble Coco Mademoiselle at all, not even as a dupe!
Luna is tangy and fruity at the beginning, but not squeaky-sweet, but rather tart-sour-sweet. Like a lime with powdered sugar.
Like a girl going to a ball for the first time. She has put on her most beautiful pink dress and attracts everyone's attention as soon as she enters the room. A peach stole in soft apricot draped over her bare shoulders. Light musk pumps with patchouli straps. Unfortunately, it doesn't stay that way. Luna is quickly shy and becomes very quiet. After a few minutes, all you can make out is a hint of peach and danced-out musk shoes that have lost their patchouli straps.
A breeze, like a small memory of something beautiful. Unfortunately irrelevant and too expensive for that.
