this is an amazing attar
wow, pure parfum, soapy, citrusy floriental with a hint of incense, complex, long lasting, powerful; dries down to civet and a total musk in the base notes; lovely, natural, nothing synthetic smelling

very bitter and not the gentleman's club I thought it would be
the notes are given as tobacco, cognac, ebony, oakmoss, clove, wool; so, you expect something spicy and boozy and like a pipe; it's not at all; instead it is very herbal oakmoss in the opening, bitter then the tobacco weaves its way in but tobacco like raw dried tobacco leaf if you've ever smelled it hanging in a barn on a farm in Virginia before it is processed almost like violet leaf and tomato leaf, very strong. In the base there is some clove. Not the love I hoped for.

spicy witchy churcy
This has spice out of the gate with a little bit of tea mixed in but then morphs to an incense fragrance very quickly. Like head shop incense oil or running your nose on an incense stick. Is it the best incense fragrance out there for a connoisseur? No, but it's a nice incense. Close to the skin and doesn't project much from the body. Intimate. Like the way your hair would smell after leaving church in the old days.

not too impressive but not bad
Not a fan of this fragrance. I blind bought it because I found notes listed on a sale site that claimed it was leather, tobacco cognac as the notes but it's not even close; this is softer and cloudier than Ariana Grande Cloud even less with maybe soft tonka or benzoin and a little unidentifiable floral note, sort of play doh, very close to the skin and barely there after many sprays, can't even smell it after an hour

I would not call this a spicy floral
This is lovely. A spring floral with aldehydes that at first in the bottle smells like jasmine and/or honeysuckle but when I put it on I get a gardenia with aldehydes. It doesn't last long but goes on like an oily parfum and projects at the beginning and as your body warms up. A vintage beauty.
