...of hay and herbs and nervous children.....
I am actually rather lazy about writing and prefer to make a short statement about a fragrance. But Memoire d'une odeur is so wonderfully different. Already the name lets assume good.
For me, Roman chamomile is definitely dominant in the fragrance. In no case to be confused with the scent of chamomile tea, as indicated by some here. Who knows the natural essential oil of the Roman chamomile, knows that chamomile tea smells totally different.
In aromatherapy, Roman chamomile is mainly used for restless toddlers. It has a harmonizing effect on body and psyche.
With the oil of Roman chamomile and me it was love at first sight, so to speak. I liked it the first time I tried it.
With my children I have used it frequently in the fragrance lamp.

I took the test strip home from Memoire d'une Odeur and put it under the nose of my children. The test result was very positive. My son said: smells good, of hay and herbs. Whether the judgement turned out so well because they are preloaded from small with the smell is difficult to say....
But there is not much more to say about it. I see it the same way.
Green, herbaceous with a hint of woody powder in the base. With recognition value without appearing vintagelastig somehow.

Definitely nothing for gourmet lovers, but certainly unisex.

If my son were already at the age of perfume....
I'd take Hugo Reversed home with him right now. Was my first thought when I tested it. Attracted me the plain white (white always arouses my interest) packaging.
Very clean, fresh, slightly citrus-heavy with a pleasant flavour (that must be rosemary, which I always like). The fragrance for a nice, casual, handsome youngster.

But that does not mean boring. And boring is basically only who is also boring in spirit...

For fragrance fanatics who expect great uniqueness and overwhelming fragrance developments he is certainly nothing. Vintage fans who can only get fresh scents with an extra touch of musty oak moss will dismiss it as new-fangled stuff.

For me one of the best fresh fragrances I've found in the last....

Vandal insect spray....
Childhood in the country... the cowshed is teeming with flies... the farmer hanged flypapers. These are such sticky things on which the annoying insects stick and thus find their death.
If the plague becomes even too big he reaches for a green-purple metal can and sprays on the walls of the stable where the flies have gathered. (A stinging, perfumed, hairspray-like fog settles on the flies, which now tremble and become weaker and weaker.
The smell burned itself into my skin, found it already horrible at that time.
Not that I was sorry for the flies.
But when I smelled Sauvage for the first time, I immediately got the association of this insect spray.
I haven't smelled this smell of the insect spray anywhere since my childhood, and I also don't know if the smell of that time is still identical with the smell of the spray sold today.
In any case, I find Sauvage on men rather "cow stable-like". If someone should have the opportunity to test Vandal Insect Spray where, I would be pleased about feedback.

no blind purchase candidate and no candidate for surprise gifts either....
This fragrance, if you can call it that at all, has the most disgusting, disgusting fragrance composition I have ever noticed on any perfume.

All the praising comments of my previous commentators I cannot understand at all. It's not like I only like cotton candy fragrances a' la LVEB.
The beauty of a "By The Fireplace" or M7 is quite open to me. And even if I wouldn't wear them, I can understand why they have their followers.

I tried Dzongkha for the first time about 2 years ago. Several further attempts followed. Every time disgust and disgust, I can't describe it any other way.

And today when I was cleaning up the sample fell into my hands again. I learned from my previous attempts, and so he was only allowed on a handkerchief.

There are fragrance combinations for me like orange blossom, in combination with violets, or tuberose with orange blossom which are simply too sweet, too much and simply too much of everything for me. And yet no creation has yet managed to cause such nausea in me.

Don't let your nose get too close to the handkerchief, every inch could be too much ....it is and remains disgusting!!! (to all lovers sorry, and he is not tilted!)
The fragrance pyramid reads so beautifully, but is purely fictitious. I like cardamom, lychee, peony and also incense and leather I am not averse to. Everything sounds nice, but you can safely forget it.
All I smell is a medical, nasty smell that I don't want to notice either on myself or on people around me.

Flowery, discreet, pleasant
Today tested in the drugstore and I think M5A is a really nice, well-groomed fragrance that can be used anywhere and at any time.
Classification of the top note (with the help of the fragrance pyramid) Ozonic notes, yes, that's very good. Heart notes : Lotus and jasmine, find the lotus triumphs over the jasmine, so the fragrance is not too sweet but looks nice and clean. Base slightly woody, what exactly, my nose is simply too little trained for that.
The second fragrance I tested again today was Tiffany. My little daughter accompanied me and I gave her both hands to sniff. Which one's better? The one that smells like good flowers, the other one's angry. The good flowers were My 5th Avenue.
Shelf life at me: 5 hours, Sillage rather decent

I'm sure some will complain that the recognition value is totally missing in contrast to the legendary Ur- 5th Avenue, but nowadays I think it's quite difficult in the mainstream sector to create a fragrance with recognition value for the taste of the masses, considering how many new releases there are every year.
