Here seems successful, which sometimes bothers me in many niche fragrances (because it is often too much in the foreground) ... a subtle leather note.

Although no leather was listed in the description, this perfume smells leathery. Not musty and not "uähh-ledrig", but as an expensive leather shirt smells. Noble and pleasant. And right after that it smells like sex. Disinhibited and after sex. Period.
I can't put it into words any other way.
As if you accidentally landed in a Berhain orgy in the basement. I think the gold drooler on the package wants to discreetly point to fetish ;-)

I thought: I buy times the diamond for my better half and the gold shower is for me - far from it - cocaine gold found at my "home test" also great appeal in the ladies. I can not think of a perfume that "smells so similar", but had one told me "this is the new dark Tom Ford", I would not have suspected.

Surprisingly different.

The epic use of burnt, leather, ash, blood, etc. is not used here at all.
An ode to the beautiful cool - which is like a diamond. This fragrance has subordinated to the concept of the song and describes purity, clarity, coolness, sinless admiration and elegance.

In the top note, a tandem of green galbanum and energetic ginger settles - describes an olfactum that makes you think of green, fresh forest air, flanked by pleasant Asian ginger freshness. In combination, it feels this prelude like a morning visit to a fresh mountain spring , surrounded by morning dew-wetted grass.

Shortly after, the yuzu zest and grapefruit come forward - making the perfume a little warmer / sunnier. Almost as if you let the facets of the otherwise cool diamond warmly sparkle in the sun.

Light woods form a very clear, subtle and fine finish.


So subtle and just discreetly fresh was Rammstein never before. For a Rammsteinduft just daringly unprovocative!

Leather, incense, more leather, olibanum and
Resins ... sophisticated, almost a little evil. Dense, much structure, little course - somehow the fragrance is permanently on the gas pedal. A wild, naughty throw - a statement.

Rammstein's new one follows the tradition of being a fragrance that is bursting with individuality and does not claim to be a daily office fragrance. But it is another building block in the great Rammstein perfume library, of which you simply have to collect every single one. I only know this much creativity and speed in development from Tom Ford. So far there is not a single "Aqua Commercial" underneath. Amazing. Seaman also has teeth and bites not bad.

Sailor opens with a salty seawater note, follows with fresh seaweed and a stiff sea breeze - much fresher, but also more tart than all these sugar waters a lá Aqua di Gio or Cool Water.
In the drydown I have the feeling to sniff a freshly taken from the sea coral (who has ever done this, will agree with me). Not for the faint of heart - but at the same time simply horny and rarely ever smelled in this way.

The only fragrance that comes to mind now, which tends to go in this direction, comes from Orto Parisi and is called Megamare - where 100 ML cost well over 200 € - and Megamare unfortunately takes my breath away because it is much too concentrated. With Seemann you can inhale with pleasure. Strong fragrance. I hope the creativity never stops with Rammstein and I hope the bar remains as active as it has been so far. Amazing and impressive small brand that pursues a high standard - despite relatively small prices

Easter gift unpacked - wow - Roja - a fragrance of the major league.
It started so nice - I could perceive citrus scents, freshness and I could even imagine the ocean. Unlike Cool Water, for example - much less sweet and fresher ... but suddenly the family-sized bottle of Nivea sunscreen fell into my ocean. The picture (William Turner - Fishermen on the Sea) abruptly gave way to the head cinema (Gerhard Polt - Man spricht deutsch)... crowded Adriatic beach, 1,000 milky creamed tourists with sunburn beginnings languishing in rows and rows in the sun, while ice cream sellers trudge through the shallow water).

Don't misunderstand - there's something about the scent. And also the Nivea accord is not unpleasant - but just not really "Ocean". Also the Flacon does not blow me away. Neither creative nor minimalist - somehow it looks like a relic from the 80s ... i once had a record by Olivia Newton John, called Xanadu ... somehow so in the aesthetics ..
