When a friend told me about this candidate for the first time, he tried to paint a picture of the mysterious smoker's bar, where the haze of heavy Monte Christo combines with the sweet steams of the willing port ladies to end in a hitherto unknown melange. Oh man!

I booted of course immediately to the fragrance dealer of my choice, dared a first nose and... was disappointed. The spice was too chummy, the whiskey note too tangible.

But I should be deceived, because after a few minutes on the skin the dark rebel built up, penetrated only reservedly into the nose, filled me with temptation, lust, resistance, unconventionality.

I took immediate action, paid, hastily left the perfumery, tore down the foil, and pressed the spray button at least eight times. It was like intoxication.

I felt wilder than ever, I didn't need headphones or an iPod to hear Iggy Pop, and I started to feel the scent of life.

Even after hours I felt the rebel on my skin.

A scent, as if on the bearskin in front of the fireplace, you are given another present. Seductive, reserved, determined, a slightly caramel note and enriched with a shot of ten-year-old Taliskers. Next to a neck smelling of Legend Night there are probably two shoulders to lean on. And the lady of the heart also has to lean back, because this perfume is hardly noticeable after 48 minutes. It's subtle.

This fragrance is not a Rolex Daytona, it is a Zenith El Primero. Connoisseurs nod appreciatively, riot brothers are only irritated. But the ladies love him.

Thankfully another insider tip. Because this scent is what most men would like it to be.

Great smell, but funny enough I once had a miracle tree that smelled the same. The scent is slightly different and makes the wearer something special - but why smell of a spice mixture under passenger seat heating when you get half a litre of Cool Water for the same price?

In any case, Wild Oud has a mystical magic inherent in it. In the first twenty minutes, the fragrance builds up continuously, gains speed and sweetness, occupies the room and inevitably forces itself on the surrounding area, captivates the ladies, plays with the gentlemen, spoils the diverses.

Unfortunately, it polarizes very strongly. So far I and my buddy Tim from Stuttgart are the only people in my environment who celebrate him. Everyone else is very annoyed by him, talking about headaches or even nausea near me. On a trip to St. Peter I was just given the choice to leave the Passat at the next resting place or to scrupulously wash Wild Out from my neck. I chose the latter as the weather seemed to suggest a North Sea walk.

The rest of the day I felt naked, coffee and cake did not reach me. You don't feel yourself anymore.

Arriving at home, I fled into a cloud of Wild Oud before the late autumn in northern Germany. I felt warm. A mystical magic is inherent in this fragrance...

Ewan McGregor as a testimonial was able to inspire me for this fragrance from the very beginning. The wilderness, the freshness, the sun - all this exudes this fragrance. Unfortunately only for 12 minutes (with 6 splashes on ears and neck), then the scent collapses and is no longer perceptible for anyone. For me it belongs nevertheless in the standard repertoire, because also for activities, which last only 12 minutes, one (n) should smell appropriately. Dispose of garbage, refuel, hang up laundry - anyone who can do all this for 12 minutes is on the safe side with this fragrance. Otherwise, hands off!
