The Terminator
When I think of Tom Ford's "Ombre Leather", I have images of the interior of a noble coupe in full leather equipment before my eyes. If I smell the "Ombre Nomade", images of Arnold Schwarznegger's in "Terminator 2" shoot directly into my head including "I want your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle!", which then disappears with sunglasses and cool face on the motorcycle on the highway towards the desert of the sinking sun. Of course with squealing smoking tires! It is a fragrance that polarizes. I suspect either with admiration or rejection.

The opening was 0 to 100 and pure scheduling. There was no time to prepare. First the very strong smoky component in combination with the leather. This is probably created by the benzoin. Benzoin can in pure form alone sometimes a little smell like burnt tires or even chemical (what "lucky" in his statement probably also meant with new air mattress). But this settles quickly.

After about 1 hour, he became a little tamer. The raspberry was the next thing opened up to me including delicious woody undertone. This remains then also very long so.

The incense I personally do not smell out. However, I can say this: have different incense here and the varieties are different as day and night. Some varieties are very tart, another neutral and again another very citrus (Olibanum Aden for example).

Definitely a very interesting fragrance, of which I myself still do not quite know what to think of it. But one thing is certain: I just can not stop to smell it!

Honey with pipe tobacco?
Got the fragrance as an addition (many thanks to "Cafenoir") and had to lead me of course directly full of curiosity to mind.

Sprayed on, took a deep breath and directly shot me an image of deep golden noble wild honey in the head, where the light mystically through the glass seems. Similar to the Shankara stones in Indiana Jones.

Continuing the olfactory journey, a tin of very noble pipe tobacco opened up before me. But not the kind of rough sailor's weed you'd expect on stormy days on the coast. Instead, an excellent flake, as any pipe lover in his cashmere cardigan would stuff into his favorite pipe with a joyful expression and inner balanced peace of mind. Wonderfully juicy and aromatic at the same time. Rounded off by a very pleasant peach note. Also the smoky character is very warm without triggering pungent unrest.

The durability is top and it was for me once again one of the fragrances I liked right away at the first spray. My partner also liked him immediately, which surprised me but very much because I have already counted on the comment "grandpa fragrance". I can imagine that it is not everyone's cup of tea due to its very special character. For me, a candidate that must be in my collection, because he simply triggers well-being.
