Unequilibrated
Afterword: ..........Maybe it just doesn't match my skin chemistry? Has the manufacturing process been modified or has this one always been different? The other Scent's and Bosses were never convincing on my skin either....
Please consider this, but: a review is a review. Well, to the point!

A touch of disappointment, or rather a touch of nothing? The sample blurb tells a fairy tale a la "spicy interpretation of the oriental original", "stimulating ginger", "sensual suede accord". Granted, spiciness is there, and the accord is pleasant. But everything in turn!

I spray on, and smell diffuse, unrecognizable, fruity sweetness. The aroma of maninka fruit, according to some sources, is like strawberry and chocolate, while others claim passion fruit and rum. My skin doesn't reflect any of that! Unrecognizable fruit, certainly not a stone fruit, not one of our native berries, really nothing recognizable......and a sharp spiciness to boot. No, the ginger is not too recognizable either, the note tree could almost state chili instead. The top notes, nonsense, the scent itself doesn't last long anyway, close to the body after not even an hour. Thankfully, at times a dusty, almost scratchy acidity came on. While shy, the drydown is pleasant, reminds me of Valentino Uomo! Thanks at this point to Yatagan, the tip to test more on paper shows a noticeably more pleasant opening here! A little more sharpness alongside a nice citrus bouquet. Still feels semi-finished, like a counterpoint was forgotten. Fortunately, this one is so weak on the chest that it is of little consequence.

In short: (With me?!) Indecisive water with little puff.
How do you see that? Is it the skin chemistry? Unimaginativeness of the industry?
Multiple negative tests I am at least ;D

Not the wheel reinvented
Also with this little water here I was again only minimally curious, when I saw the Flankerflakon. Will, and can't say it badly, but even the original has left me cold. Apart from the expectations of Sillage and durability, I was able to start testing without any bias.

Right from the start, the Eau Intense Vetiver is shy, a real pity. Instead of bergamot I recognize orange, no crossing of bitter orange and lemon ace lemon can be so strong and sweet. Vetiver is responsible for the earthy and bitter tones, hardly recognize any woody or smoky facets here. The Szechuan pepper is very chili-like.

In the course of the last comments and weeks I notice more and more parallels. Find the newly discovered similarities frightening and therefore sceptical, but the sensation is still there. Hope such quantum leaps don't go off badly. So:
TdH Eau Intense Vetiver is reminiscent of Bleu de Chanel perfume, reminiscent of Sauvage. All have a course from, first and foremost, sweet-citric to a (musty) vetiver base, and not only at me do they disappoint with their durability and sillage.

Still, I wouldn't condemn that Flanker. Flankers should never replace the original, but only be a further option for nuances. This is exactly what Eau Intense Vetiver is, a reducing, reduced interpretation. The essence is preserved, and even some don't want to smell of earth and oranges until the next morning!

Impressing
The feminine impression of the bottle aroused my interest when I switched from buying glasses to local perfumery. It's so new in the turquoise squad, the prices weren't even in the system. Sweetly sniffed from the outside, seemed almost bouquet-like to me! After spraying it looked different...

So much suede and cedar wood! After the original impression came like a blow into the pit of the stomach. After the first minutes some other notes came up, some blue rain and a little lemon. I thought Amber and Ambra were identical, but this time I think Amber means Bernstein. Supposedly a mixture of benzoin, vanilla, styrax and fir. Sweet, resinous, warm, cozy. The scent's none of it. That doesn't have to mean anything bad, years ago I had a Pure Leather bottling. Uomo is similarly leathery-smoky. Very good Very strong! So be careful with it. Held me a little over seven hours.

So:
Cedar and suede in the goose-step, while the weakening rest lags behind.
Very peculiar. Statementduft? At least it's conspicuous.

Lights and glow
The name Night Canyon makes you sit up and take notice. Blue optics + Night, Nightflight! But wait, this one looks so cheap. Probably never would have tested him if he hadn't found his way to me. A souvenir but I have never been averse to it.

In the beginning this little water still has presence. Throughout the wine it is marked by olive blossom with tobacco, but at the beginning it is slightly freshened up with bergamot; soothes the bitter character. I did not hear (star) anise and leather, but instead not a little lemon. I also have the feeling that Night Canyon is sniffing for soap. This combination of (olive-)tobacco lemon reminds me of Tabac Original. Also clean and yet masculine, but unfortunately not like Tabac also masculine.

Durability is acceptable, but Sillage is soon only close to the body. A pleasant scent for days with morning meetings or/and presentations; afterwards you can discreetly scent further files - or whatever - work off.
Night Canyon: big enough for men, but not yet for men.

Fragrance of a passable summer Mk II
Last year I chose Manderine Sanguine as the flair of my summer, this year it was Grand Neroli's turn. I haven't tested it empty yet, but it's still enough.

The blossom that gives the name sets the pace, but is accompanied by lemon and petitgrain, citrus fragrance profile: flowery-lovely, but also sour-fresh, with a touch of green. I also smell this creamy musk note. Some wood is actually still in it, but unfortunately quite unrecognizable. I exclude the most used woods, cedar and sandal; both are too striking and strong to hide behind a little neroli with lemon.

Through my previous experiences, the name and the note tree I expected a simple and yet pleasing Eau de Cologne. Noble Neroli meets all these expectations, unfortunately also with regard to sillage and durability. To the prelude radiant and refreshing, but then quickly close to the body. After a maximum of one hour! It is similar with the durability, also with me quasi away after about 6 hours. Too bad!

Simple Feel-good fragrance, shy, short-winded and nevertheless beautiful. Women look better than men. I'll lay out more with the next time soon, maybe I'll get some interesting results :)
