Completely detached from the earth....
Since I don't care at all if a perfume is a men's or women's scent, I had to have "Tabac Man Gravity" just because of the space theme. As a really old science fiction fan, anything with even a star, alien, spaceship or anything else on it = merchandise (fan collectible). That's why I grabbed it as soon as I discovered it at Rossi. At home, I took the bottle out of the box and started spraying. My beloved lavender floats around me in the prelude and lets me take off together with a rose. Hello Major Tom.
Thankfully, I don't notice any of the everenyl. Unlike oakmoss, I just have a hard time putting up with it. I'd often suspected in the past that I'd bought a fake, until I realized "Nope, the scent has been reformulated!" It's something synthetic now and no more oakmoss!" Ew!
Continuing on down the course with rose geranium, yum! Coriander seeds? Not really much. Oud? Is that supposed to be the slightly woody smell? Then that's probably it. And I don't really consciously detect patchouli either.
All in all, I feel the fragrance although clearly tart, but with quite a fresh-floral impact - but not really sweet!
Evening sprayed on I can perceive him the next morning still quite clearly, which is already a decent durability. Just like the sillage, which one pleasantly buzzes around, but not slain.
Since I love heavy, simple flacons, this comes to me with its familiar and handy shape very much. And also the spray button is very good, sits tight and doses properly - which is often, even for higher-priced fragrances, not common.
So now but not a pure collector's item, because the fragrance I like so well that I will wear it out of the house. Synthetic or not, that are today eh most fragrances!!!
All in all, it is for me a decent drugstore fragrance that is worth its price twice.

The summer of 1977...
Accord 119! Thanks to Daisy, who left these and other bottlings to me, I was able to take a trip into the past again.
I don't know if ladies smell like that. All that matters to me are the images that rise up inside me when I smell a perfume. Accord 119 smells noble, of times past and of things hidden. Something eludes me, lies beneath the surface and does not want to be discovered completely
It was 1977, when I spent the summer with my grandmother in the Hunsrück. After two weeks of looking after a five-year-old neighbor's child (so boring for a twelve-year-old), I finally made contact with a girl of the same age who was also on vacation with her grandmother.
Unobserved and free, as it was then, we experienced a lot of adventures in the area and filled our bellies with blackberries at the nearby tennis court. These grew all around the court - huge hedges with heaps of berries. We carried them home in buckets so that our grandmothers could make jam from them. And it's exactly this place that Accord 119 reminds me of, I can smell the sweet blackberries and the green leaves and white flowers that grew there. But underneath, well concealed, I can hear something earthy and woody that reminds me of the nearby forest that started right next to the tennis court and on the paths of which we could even see the deer that walked through the alternation of light and shadow in the evening.
Accord is not an exuberant olfactory firework. It has something of British reserve without, however, taking a back seat too much.
I am grateful that I could try this beautiful fragrance and maybe I will bring it back from a trip sometime..

Wuthering Heights, the bedsit, and many tumultuous years....
Exactly today 28 years ago I came together with my husband. What was not foreseeable at all, because we could not "smell" each other at all in the beginning! We had the same friends and interests, but both could not stand it if next to us another sun shone brighter - and that despite 200 km between us.
At some point we discovered that the other is not so bad after all, and we began a lively pen friendship. So it came as it had to come and we became a couple - and that despite 200 km between us.
The 200 km separated us 25 years, in which we had to lead a weekend marriage for professional reasons. For three years we finally live together.
28 eventful years. Cats came and went. Friends came and went. But we have always stood together despite many difficulties.
A week ago, I once again tried a few scents at Rossi. Spray, rush outside, sniff.
This time, Giorgio was also there. Through the mask I could smell the first surge: oh, delicious and wummsig! Outside then: Yuck, what is that? At home then: What is that? About the disgust perfume? Smells not bad at all! Oh, it smells like jasmine! JASMIN! Great!
I must say that rarely has a perfume polarized me so much. The first scent after spraying is great. Then comes something strangely pungent, which I can not classify so at all, to then make way for an absolute pleasant smell, which, yes indeed, reminds of the time in the 80s. And the bottle with its crystal vase shape also reminds of the 80s. Just pretty and handy.
What this all has to do with our 28 years? When I told my husband about this perfume, it did not let him go and he bought it for me for our get-to-know-you day. Because it smells like the old days and takes me back to when we were much younger and more carefree, even though we lived in a one-room apartment - the bedsit - in the beginning and our song was "Wuthering Heights". Because it smells of a time when not everything but many things were beautiful and I like to remember that time. Because even then the scents were more opulent. But, because I also now live in a wonderful time and Giorgio with these bridging simply fits. Thank you, my darling.

In search of the Eika chip...
...in the pockets of my jacket I just found a forgotten nickel. In the thought already with a tasty tortilla I put the bank note into my handbag and enter DM, in order to buy my tomcat boy still another tasty Shebe (is indeed yuck, but before he eats nothing...).
It comes as it must, when I grab a basket: right at the entrance the perfumes are lurking!! Huh, I've tried most of them and I don't want them. Why did I not look away? There's a pretty little box with flowers on it that says, "Take me with you!" You can't try them Because of Corona, there are no sample bottles. Quickly took out the mobile phone and looked at the perfume; the pyramid of scents fits and hey, the package costs under five ounces. That's what you just found in your jacket pocket. So, this thing goes with
Arrived at home I try the part directly - no, the cat had already had something to eat in the morning - now there is nothing!
That I do not lift a giant bottle out of the box was clear at 30 ml. But it is beautiful, it reminds me of a partial lunar eclipse, when the sun's shadow only partially covers the moon.
So I spray a little bit on my skin and am happily surprised! I had expected a soft flowery scent. But here I smelled a really sweet top note - more peach than tangerine, which stays discreetly in the background. After the top note has warped, but the sweetness remains, I can easily perceive the jasmine. Rose and tuberose form a unity, although I can't really hear lily of the valley. But I already have a slight hint of old pencils, it must be the cedar wood. This pludgy-flowery-woody scent stays for a while now, until after hours it only finds its conclusion as a woody-creamy note.
In total, Amazing Dahlia can hold on to me for four to five hours. The sillage is not murderous, but remains rather body-hugging. So the right perfume for the office.
Amazing Dahlia proves that cheap is not always cheap (and I find cheap smelling perfumes unbearable). Quite nice, nothing special, but when I'm on duty I don't want to be distracted, nor do I want to distract myself, and he's just right for that!
P.S.: For all cat rights activists: Bones does not live alone, he still has three women at his side and they are all being harassed! And even if they play soccer with the flacons one or the other time, each of them is the star of my eyes!

You smell so good.
...was the sentence that accompanied me almost constantly when I bought Ultra Sexy Lace in the year of its release and wore it frequently until the second bottle was almost empty. No matter where I went, I always had a sniffing nose on me.
The deliciously sweet scent was nevertheless magically appealing and that for many hours without having to spray again. For the office, the slightly overwhelming smell at the time was not an option, as the scent trail showed where I was: "Well, you could have brought me some material!"
Oh, how sad I was when the stock had dwindled to just a few drops and my AVON consultant explained that Ultra Sexy Lace was no longer available in the range!
The first impression banged in with a bergamot-like passion fruit. Pear, mh, a little bit later, very light
Afterwards, an interplay of sweet magnolia and peony develops on my skin, with the woods already shining through. And this impression remained for hours.
I was so happy when I got the news that AVON had re-introduced Ultra Sexy Lace into their repertoire by popular demand. I directly ordered 3 bottles
And then my disappointment when I noticed that it is no longer the Wummser who was the one. Still beautiful, still fragrant, but not what I imagine it to be.
Now a little brighter, less sweet and with a shrunken Sillage I dare to go into the office with it
