Super strong.
This stuff is potent. Can be super cloying for most upon first spray, but it gets better. The florals and citrus dominate on first spray, making it seem feminine at first. It mellows out in 20-30 minutes, and I’ve found a short drive in the car with the windows cracked helps if those around you don’t like it. The magic happens around 45 minutes or so. The flowery/citrus notes become background and the earthier woods and vanilla notes take over. This stuff is an absolute beast, and works well for those with a muskier body scent. I gave it to a friend and he hated it. I made him wear it a few times going out, and the compliments he got changed his mind fast.

A semi-premium cologne I don't care for.
I was gifted a bottle 4-5 years ago. Really didn't care for it, so it was wrapped and stored in my fragrance pantry. Hoping that time would give it better qualities for me, I pulled it. Nope. When I first spray it on, fantastic. The nuances and structure let me know this is quality. But then.. 30-45 minutes out it falls apart. Smells like an old dog bed that's been left in the rain for a few weeks. Musty. Back into storage it goes I suppose.

Fantastic in every way EXCEPT..
I received a bottle when this first came out, and fell in love. First spray is a blast of citrus, and it's good. 10-15 minutes and the florals amp up. The woods are nice and earthy without being overpowering. Very nice and pleasing. After 2-3 hours, it's GONE. And when I say gone, it really is. The sillage and projection fall apart, and there is no discernible skin scent left for you either. Literally like you took a scrubbing hot shower to wash it off. This is EXTREMELY disappointing, because it has serious potential. Lacoste needs to rework this or discontinue it. Better still, some perfume house could do an interpretation of it that lasts.

Love Bond No. 9 Wall Street
There seems to be a split right in the middle with this for some. For me, I love it. First spray the cucumber is extremely prominent, as are some watery accords. 45 minutes or so and some lovely florals emerge, and the vetiver is layered in there nicely. It lasts quite a while on me, and I get compliments. This is strictly a summertime fragrance, and does not wear well in colder weather. One of the ones that gets put away when winter arrives.

A solid release from Fendi, sadly discontinued.
This is in the same vein as Dior Homme Intense. I do believe it’s the same nose behind that as well. This is a little more citrus, and there’s some effervescent spice in there that is incredible. I get 6-8 hours of good wear, and people really like it. I picked up 6 testers on eBay about a year before it was discontinued. I gave two away as gifts and the remaining bottles are resting quietly in my pantry stockpile. I also have Fan di Fendi pour Homme Acqua, but it unfortunately smells like every other ‘aqua’ flanker.
