Indominable

There’s nothing out there that smells like this. First spray is a cinnamon clove bomb. It’s delicious, but go easy because it’s strong and can be cloying at first. 20-30 minutes out and it smooths into some nice woodsy vanilla undertones. Very nice, but not for every man. Sort of feminine in its construction and execution. I absolutely love the box and presentation. And the spring loaded sliding protective metal cap over the spray nozzle is one of a kind. This lasts 10-12 hours and more on me, projects nicely and the sillage is beast mode as well. I love it.

Very unique. I get the water accords when first sprayed. Twenty minutes or so and there is some citrus notes that waft forth. Finally it settles into a sort of pencil shavings scent, with some amber holding it together. It lasts 5-7 hours on me, with good sillage and projection. There is no other aquatic out there that performs like this does, for that alone I give this good marks and it is well worth owning.

I have two bottles of this, both were purchased new when it originally was released. I was gifted a number of colognes and perfumes, from the 1970’s and up and this was in the lot. This is an unbelievable monster. Two small sprays and I feel like I’m in an old school barbershop, all day long. The pine smell is almost medicinal, very strong and lasting. I can’t believe how strong it is still, it was stored away in a cool dry closet since it was new. This is definitely for much colder months, I couldn’t imagine wearing this in the summertime.

Truly amazing! This smells EXACTLY like Creed Millisime Imperial. Parfums Vintage Rush of Unicorns Intense is simply stunning. There is literally no difference between PVROUI and quality older batches of CMI that is. CMI lost its punch around 2018 or so, when the bottles went from 120ml to 100ml, prices went up and quality has suffered. MEANWHILE, PVROUI has literally created something better. It last much longer, stays strong all day and has an excellent quality to it. When people smell it, they know it’s expensive. But it isn’t, and that’s the best part.

A modern interpretation of a long discontinued classic. I have several bottles of Gucci Noble, so I can compare the two. Parfums Vintage Esoteric is VERY VERY CLOSE to Gucci Noble upon first spray. It gets every note and nuance perfectly. 30 minutes or so out, and the differences become apparent. GN remains very green and sharp, sort of a medicinal barbershop smell. PVE is much more mellow, and the sharper notes are turned way down. It’s sort of a sweet earthy smell, and it’s nice. I prefer GN in general, it stays much more green and fresh, and PVE takes it to a nice sublime level. PVE lasts much longer, and it has beast mode staying power. I do highly recommend PVE, it’s EXTREMELY CLOSE to the classic, and it is an expertly constructed fragrance. Well worth it, as vintage bottles of GN now sell for $500.-$700. on eBay.
