The animal in the cologne
GS03 is an interesting little number for sure as it's not your typical summery refreshing cologne. Yes, it is fresh and very herbal (strong juniper), citric (neroli, orange), woody and a bit spicy (pink pepper)... but wait - who's that beast lurking there in the greenery?

The castoreum note in GS03 (which is quite noticeable BTW, among all the salubrious plants) is a brilliant addition and the way it's blended in is the obvious working of a genius.

It gives this otherwise typical fresh masculine a very strange, fabulous, sexy vibe, a darker underbelly and more than a bit of dirty mind. It also turns it into a unisex, because perversion is always both sexual and genderless.

If you enjoyed the castoreum note in Mad Madame by JHAG, and want something equally mad to wear in the summer, give GS03 a try. It's one of the twisted. ;)

Longevity is really good on me (8h+) and the sillage is soft-moderate (I get wafts of it as I move around but it's not noticeable to people who aren't in my proximity).

First celebrity scent that I might actually buy
I'm not a fan of celebrity perfumes myself, I actually tend to avoid them and have none in my collection so far. But Truth or Dare is really well done. It does not smell cheap at all. In fact, I honestly believe that if packaged and sold as a new release in some niche line, many tuberose lovers would spend serious money on it.

Leaving this value judgement aside, the scent is a lush, smooth tuberose and gardenia duet. Quite natural smelling too and it mixes nicely with my skin. I enjoy the fact that it's creamy, silky and somewhat mentholated, it feels rather cold and perfect for warmer weather.

In the late drydown ToD gets sweeter and cozier as the sweet vanilla and caramel-like benzoin become more aparent and start peeking through the fading floral notes.

If Fracas had a daughter with a trendy youth-marketed perfume, this would be it. And it resembles its mother more :)

The lasting power and sillage are both excellent.

The only minus - I, too, hate the bottle. *cringes*

Like a Dream
This perfume is a bit like a dream... it's soft, barely there, like an impression, but it's got a certain olfactive texture that's almost tangible. When I first sprayed it I could barely smell the perfume, but I could tell the air around was dryer and heavier, loaded with a powdery, subtle bread-like, nutty effect.

I'm still questioning if I'm by any chance anosmic to any of the ingredients in this one so I'm looking forward to more reviews. Until then, I guess I'm actually enjoying the impression / illusion / allusion game.

If I stick my nose very close to my skin, I can distinguish a beautiful almond-like perfume that makes me think of L'Artisan's Jour de Fete and which I actually like very much.

In any case, rather fascinating really.

Peachy Peach
You have to love the peach note to love this one. To my nose, the peach is quite dominant here and combined with juicy orange, it gives off a strong fruity, sweet-sour aroma that overpowers all the other notes listed.

I can't really smell the flowers but I do get a vague impression of musk and myrrh somewhere far in the background.

Souffle Sauvage reminds me very much of Peau de Peche by Keiko Mecheri.

This WILL get you fat (but you will love it)!
My God, this is a fabulous gourmand perfume! I was expecting chocolate and vanilla and I was expecting it to be tasty, but this fragrances goes beyond tasty, it's just irresistibly edible and has the olfactory structure of a real, three-dimensional dessert. It made me salivate as soon as it hit my nostrils as if my nose couldn't tell the difference between this masterful allusion and reality.

Gourmand Coquin has the very buttery, creamy texture of the delicious dessert that you know will get you fat just as sure as you know you'll definitely eat it all. This is pure gourmet dream: white milky chocolate, lush vanilla, dark powdered cocoa and spices and inebriating spritzes of savory rum. If there is any rose in this perfume, it's made of chocolate too.

Any gourmand perfume lover has to try this one, because it is the epitome of the genre, made with extraordinary, high quality materials. But beware, if you fall for this as hard as I have, the price you'll have to pay is a high one, for this gorgeous elixir does not come cheap: last I've heard, a 75ml bottle was around $270.

Sweet, rich, soft, velvety, oily, luscious, buttery, chocolatey deliciousness... yes I just want to eat myself up when I wear this!
