This was awarded the best gourmand niche fragrance of 2020 and for a good reason. The combination of coffee with the passion fruit is just divine. The coffee in here is more like a cappuccino, a bit more potent and noticeable that in the intense café. The chocolate gives it this almost edible quality that makes you want to like your hand :D. It is based on a beautiful ambery vanilla, which combined with the musk smoothens up the formulation but at the same time keeps it sweet. The coffee and passion fruit stays with you throughout the whole duration of the fragrance. The projection is average with above average longevity 12+ hours. Not as potent as Nishane Ani but close. The only sad thing is that this is officially discontinued so if you find yourself a bottle get it while you still can. Worth the retail price? If you are a Nishane fan like me, yes!

This was my first vetiver fragrance and I must say that I love it. From the very first seconds you are hit with a blast of vetiver mixed with a bit of citrus. The opening is sparkly, it seems to be a similar thing Nishane does with most of their fresher fragrances. The dry down is really beautiful, with the leather coming in and mixing with neroli. The vetiver in this evolves and you are able to see different facets of it as the fragrance develops. This smells like spring to me. Smells like Easter. I used to wear leather fancy shoes to church and when I would open the shoes cabinet this smell of musty leather would come in. Very nostalgic fragrance with stellar performance and projection, 12+ hours.

After few years into niche perfumery and having smelled this on several occasions I finally decided to pull the trigger on it. In the past it didn't really catch my interest. Smelled okay, jammy rose but that was basically everything I was perceiving. Few weeks ago I got back to it and wore a sample in the cold weather. It felt like I was smelling a different fragrance. The raspberry was very prominent and delightful, reminded me a little bit of Jubilation 25 Man opening. The incence in it is so beautiful and well blended that you can barely tell it apart from the other notes. It gives the formulation that lovely smokiness that elevates the jammy Rose. The trail this fragrance leaves is to die for. Nonetheless an amazing fragrance by Dominique Ropion. Longevity and projection above avarage 12+ hours.

This is my only fragrance that contains real oud. The oud in here is barnyardy but not overly fecal. Slightly animalic but much less than Africa Olifant. The oud doesn't come out as leathery at all. It is sweetened up in this formulation. Very easy to wear if you chose the right time and place for it. The word Musiqa might refer to how harmonious these woody notes blend together. The grapefruit in the opening is there just to make the fragrance more palatable and not to scare you away. The dry down is a beautiful woods blend with soft spices. You can make a statement wearing Musiqa Oud. This is my longest lasting Nishane with around 24 hours on the skin. Projection is a above avarage to great, 10 hours.
