How have I never reviewed this until now???!!!
When you first spray this one on your skin, it almost smells like it's gone off but rest assured, it hasn't. This perfume needs a few minutes to settle down and once it does, it's stunning.
I get something smokey coming through that I believe is from the bergamot. It grounds the fragrance, giving it depth and character and making it something more than a straight-on gourmand scent. On my skin, I get the most delicious glazed orange cake note, sprinkled with a dash of cinnamon. I get a hint of sandalwood in the base and believe that the vanilla/tonka combination is what's contributing to the "cakey" impression.
It's an absolute travesty that this was discontinued.
I'm on my second bottle but doubt that I'll ever own a third with the way the prices for this have blown-up.
When people talk about fragrances being gems, this one is right up there with the best of them!
As a side-note, I layered this with Bath & Body Works' new fragrance, Iced Lemon Pound Cake and it was "chef's kiss!"

Bath and Body Works Brown Sugar & Fig
I don't have the newest iteration of this, I have the one before it and let me tell you how surprised I was to read that people have lasting power issues with it. Not on my skin! Figgy and only subtly sweet (in a dry way) and really, really lovely! Lasted all day on me and I kept getting whiffs of it (beautiful scent bubble.) Most definitely fig forward and even though I found the lasting power to be great, it's still what I would consider to be mild and understated. It's not an aggressive fragrance and doesn't slap you in the face. Quite enjoyable.
This is an underrated gem for sure. It's much better than more popular Bath and Body Works sprays but doesn't seem to get the recognition it deserves. Smells high-end and expensive with some character.
Layer this with Kayali Vanilla 28! A stunner of a combo! You won't be sorry.

Valentino Donna
I absolutely love this gorgeous, lush, power scent.
It's a confident, sensual fragrance with soft suede, full-bodied rose and the hit from a powder-puff out of a self-asured lady's fancy make-up bag. It's beautiful.
It manages to feel like a glamorous throw-back from the golden age combined with the modern sensibility of today.
I have to say however, that the original incarnation (made in Spain) version is the best and is not surpassed by the following (made in France) version with the latter being less deep, much weaker performance and overall, not as interesting.
Born in Roma has indeed seemed to steal this fragrances thunder.

Kerosene Unknown Pleasures
This fragrance is delightful! I wore it to work yesterday and 2 people told me that I smelled really good!
To me, this is linear, it goes on smelling like a straight-up lemon meringue pie and last night when I was getting my pyjamas on, I was still getting lemon meringue pie vibes. I usually reserve citrus scents for the summertime when my heavy-hitters are too much for the warm weather but because this citrus ventures into gourmand territory, it's perfectly suited for Fall and Winter.
Wearing this made me feel comforted and happy. It is truly a pick-me-up type of fragrance. A comfort scent for the soul. On my skin, I got a slight woody undertone underneath the creamy lemon meringue pie. So warm and sweet but not cloying or cheap smelling. Very luxe!
Silliage and lasting power were not an issue for me. Both were top-notch.
I only had a decant of this and am so happy that I finally tested it out. Not sure if I'd buy a full bottle or not, only because it's expensive and I'm not sure I'd classify this as an everyday scent but it's beautiful nonetheless. Yummy and delectable!

Bath and Body Works Boardwalk Taffy
Boardwalk Taffy is hands-down, my favourite scent from Bath and Body Works.
I don't know what it is about the smell but I find it so addicting.
It's very sweet thanks to all of the components working together harmoniously. The way the spun sugar mingles with the red berries and the vanilla creates this vision in my mind of something so fluffy and sugary.
It's odd though, it sounds like I'm describing cotton candy and I guess I am but it doesn't actually remind me of actual cotton candy.
I know that there is no marshmallow in this but it does almost give me marshmallow vibes as well.
I'm quite literally smitten with this one. The sweetness is so tangible and vivid that when I smell it, it's like a sugar rush that goes straight to my brain! (Brain candy!!!)
It just makes me feel good and puts me in a good mood!
