Bath and Body Works Buttercups & Berry Bellini
This is probably my favourite straight-up fruity body spray from Bath and Body Works.
It quite literally, smells like strawberry candy. I wore it to work one day and the first person who interacted with me said, "You smell like candy!" She also told me that it was making her hungry. Haha
I find this one so much better than their Strawberry Soda scent. Strawberry Soda has a weird note in it that bugs my nose a little. It's much less candy-like and a tad too sparkling for my taste but Buttercups & Berry Bellini makes you smell like a sweet snack! It's honestly delicious and crave-worthy!

Montblanc Signature
The first day that I wore this, I had worked a 6 hour shift and afterward, joined 3 of my friends at Starbucks for coffee. We were there for a couple of hours and at the end when I hugged everyone goodbye, my one friend said, "Ohhhhhh, you smell GOOD!!!" My other friend then said, "So that's the smell I kept smelling!" She then asked me to text her the name of the perfume, along with a picture of the bottle and box.
After 8 hours, I could easily still smell it on myself and others could smell it on me as well, which is a testament to its strength, lasting power and projection.
First and foremost, this is a musky perfume but it's not a pungent smelling musk. It's refined, classy, alluring, sweet and creamy. Beyond the musk, I get something floral. It almost has a rosey vibe to it, so I'm assuming it's the peony. I believe the vanilla note is what's giving it that sweet touch but it's not at all gourmand. The ylang ylang chimes in to give it some depth. I don't smell the other notes. Everything mixes nicely for an overall pleasing and almost addictive effect.
This really is a beautiful fragrance, especially for the price. You can easily find this online at a reasonable price point.
The bottle itself is stunning, the white and cold combo is so pretty and expensive looking.
The fragrance reminds me of a Narciso Rodriguez creation at a fraction of the cost.
A very successful blind-buy for me indeed!

Bath and Body Works Confetti Cake Pop
For those of you who missed out on this one the first time around, it came back in a collection during the Summer of 2022 as a re-package! The new version is called "Vanilla Confetti Sparkle" and the notes are the exact same as the previous iteration.
You still get that sweet, delicious vanilla cake batter vibe!
If you want to smell like a straight-up snack, this is the one for you!

Bond No 9 Chinatown
My Mother has never been into fragrance and I don't ever remember her wearing perfume. As a child, I remember she had one bottle of perfume that sat atop her dresser - Tabu, in a glorious art-deco style bottle. She always spoke of liking that fragrance but I don't ever remember her actually wearing it. The only scent that I associate with her is baby powder scented Secret deoderant, something she's still faithful to, today.
Fast forward many years later to me working at a Winners store, here in Canada. It was holiday time and we got in a bunch of Bond No 9 body lotions at a deeply discounted price. Even though my Mother does prefer her creams and lotions to be unscented, I thought I'd take a chance and pick-up Chinatown for her. She loved it and it became her favourite thing to use after her bath/shower.
Yes, it is absolutely a heavier, more mature scent but in a very classy way. This perfume smells of propriety and wealth! A "Grand Dame" of a scent. I consider it to be predominantly tuberose-heavy with other white florals mingling about. It's blended so flawlessly that I have trouble singling out any of the other notes but the overall effect is lush and creamy.
My Mom has a tiny bit left and I know she's going to be sad to see it go.
Lucky for her that I have a bottle of Alien body lotion waiting in the wings, to gift her.
I'm going to make a fragrance-lover out of her yet!

Britney Spears Fantasy
I'm sorry, I can't help myself, I love this. Reformulated or not, this is crave-worthy! I had the original version, years ago but I can't remember how it smelled in comparison to the reformulated version that I have now so I can't comment on that.
What I can say, is for the 17.99 that I paid for the 50 ml. bottle, I am quite happy with this. I am surprised at how much I enjoy this perfume, given that I strongly dislike all things, kiwi. However, the kiwi actually works here and gives it a nice, little kick of freshness, helping to tone down the overall "bakery" quotient. Besides the kiwi, I can also detect hints of white chocolate (addictive!) and the vanilla cupcake. I don't smell much else. I'm fairly certain that the original formulation had stronger woody notes in the base, helping to anchor it a little more.
The lasting power is good on my skin. I smelled it all day, right until bedtime and could still catch whiffs of it in the morning.
This is a classic in the world of celebrity perfume and I'm here for it!
