A Wearable Vetiver Scent!
Now this is quite beautiful that I'm quite taken with the scent. I get a wonderful smelling cardamom with black pepper, iris and elmi. The elmi smells like light honey, lemon and pine and it mixes in with soft woody smell and elevates the scent. This sets the stage!
Underneath this amazing mix is the star of the show, the Hatian vetiver. Which pushes up out of the soft woody cardamom mix and is accompanied by a touch of lavender. Making this scent smell spicy fresh and warm at the same time. I got to say it smells really good!

The Lightness Of Scent
Now this is extremely light and ethereal that I had a problem in detecting any scent at all. I eventually could pick up on a peppery freshness and a very soft sandalwood. Though it's so silky smooth and light you have to work your nose to try to discern it's presence.
As time passes I can pick up very tiny hints of incense and violet within the very soft and light creamy sandalwood. The pink pepper adds a nice rosy dimension to the soft sandalwood and the fragrance comes across as very sensual. It smells nice with quality ingredients but for a Edp I feel it needs more body. Projection is way below average and longevity is about three hours.

Play It Again Sam
Now this is a scent I could imagine Humphrey Bogart would have worn in that movie Casablanca. It has a charming enigmatic old world sophistication vibe. Just like you have walked out of a classy barbershop in the 1940's.
It opens up with a mentholated bergamot which is soon followed by oakmoss and a slightly honeyed green tobacco. As time moves towards the heart the florals appear right on cue adding a sensual depth to the green moss and tobacco. As we move towards the base after many hours, cedar and sandalwood become more apparent.
All these soft spicy notes are wrapped up in a lovely shaving cream and slight talc accord. And this is the most complex one I have smelled from Rogue. The quality of the ingredients are most impressive and this smells very lovely and is easy to wear.
All in all if you are tired of modern synthetic shallow chemical fragrances and want to smell like a refined old school gentlemen then this is your scent. Wonderful!

A Walk Through A Enchanted Forest
Now this is a gorgeous 10 out of 10 green chypre fragrance that lasts over ten hours on my skin. It is one of the most complex scents I have experienced as there is so much going on.
On the opening I'm getting green hay, galbanum, oakmoss and then these floral parma violets take over. If you remember those parma violet candies as a kid well it smells like that but it's really beautiful. Lot's of earthy forestry smells with floral elements. It's very mossy just how I like my Chypre fragrance's. It really keeps your nose on it's toes so to speak.lol........ Big wow for me with this one, the quality just shines through. Did not think they made them like this anymore but here we are.
After about three hours or so I could pick up more of notes tobacco, iris, furry musk, vetiver and the oakmoss is to die for if you love the accord. Such a mossy warmth infused with the spirit of the forest. lol....... don't mean to get poetic there but if you smell this scent you will know what I mean. It's glorious!
What is very interesting is the constant shifting of the notes upon the skin. Every time you smell the fragrance you can pick up different notes and it constantly changes as time goes by. A example of this is I sprayed my chest and wrist and several hours into the drydown both areas smelled different. The scent from my chest area smelled like fresh iris and on my wrist I was picking up smoky green vetiver. And then nine to ten hours into the drydown it changed again smelling like the drydown of Knize Ten. Giving you sweet powdery floral accord, really heavenly.
All in all this is a fantastic perfume taking you on quite the journey through a enchanted forest as it constantly shifts and evolves on your skin. This fragrance is like a tribute to the old greats like the Guerlains of yesteryear. A massive thumbs up and then some from me. Love it!

Sexy And Seductive!
Dior has hit the ball right out of the park with this one. It smells fantastic, really classy and sexy!
I get a dash of grapefruit in the opening and then a super smooth dose of milky chocolatey cardamom. There is a hint of sweetness and then the lavender does something special to this scent. Especially when it mixes with the nutmeg, you get that roasty woody vibe.
The scent is quite complex and after the first few hours it really opens up from the heavy cardamom which moves into the background. The lavender with grapefruit and woods, licorice, cinnamon move into the front seat all mixed together as one.
The first two hours the projection and sillage is amazing on me a real room filler. Then it settles down to within arms length but is very noticeable. The longevity is 12 hours plus into the next day on my skin.

The scent seems to go through many transitions on the skin. And it smells really classy and seductive. All in all I'm impressed, a stellar release from Dior.
