Finally my
In February due to the Parfumo hype smelled for the first time and since then this fragrance has not left my head. I smelled him then only on a test strip and was already blown away.
Now I found a super offer, received it an hour ago and of course immediately sprayed on my skin. I am shocked, as I did not think that this fragrance could be even nicer. On my skin it smells very strongly of vanilla accompanied by beautiful berries...I am in seventh heaven and just happy that I have now found another beautiful fragrance next to La Belle, in which the vanilla plays the leading role.
Clear buy recommendation to all vanilla lovers who love sweet and fruity / berry scents.
Thank you Parfumo!
PS: If you know other fragrances with good H/S, which are affordable and dominated by vanilla, I would be very happy.

Once the reputation is ruined, it lives quite unencumbered ;)
Christmas 2013.
For the first time I hold this fragrance in my hands and can hardly believe that I now finally own it, because before I always had to secretly "steal" the bottle from my big sister.
This fragrance brings back an incredible amount of memories for me, as I wore it almost non-stop for several years. The first date, the first kiss, the first time secretly going to a party...
It may be that I can't judge objectively because of this, however I so can't understand the "hate" this fragrance gets.
Christmas 2019:
Again I receive this beautiful fragrance as a gift and float again in seventh heaven.
Because for me it is an extremely successful fragrance, whose notes blend beautifully. The orange blossom plays the main role for me and in general it is a very sweet fragrance. Provided that one likes sweet fragrances, I can recommend him, however, only warmly.
In addition, I find that he stands out very strongly from today's "mainstream fragrances" and since he - at least in my environment - is no longer worn, he has regained its charm and can additionally convince by sillage and durability.
All in all: a beautiful fragrance that is far better than the reputation that precedes it.

The sufferings of the young vanilla addict
It was bound to happen.
Yes, it had to come so that I also one day the victim of a disappointing blind purchase. Now I sit here after more than two months of waiting and am more than disappointed. My expectations were undoubtedly way too high and yet I feel cheated. Betrayed by myself. Me, the biggest vanilla lover on this planet doesn't like a vanilla scent. How is that possible?
One word, six letters. Ginger.
Ginger, the component of which I hoped not to perceive too strongly, unfortunately dominates the entire scent for me. The vanilla plays unfortunately only the second or rather the fourth fiddle. Nonetheless, I have to say that the vanilla note itself just smells beautifully like vanilla pudding and had it not been for that aggressive ginger note, I guarantee we would have become very good friends. But as they say in Shakespeare's Hamlet: Lirum, Larum!
In summary, I would say that the fragrance smells VERY strongly of ginger / citrus notes and who likes that can rejoice, because the Dua fragrances really convince with excellent sillage and durability.

Beauty and the Beast
For me, it is inexplicable that so many people dub this fragrance as a one-size-fits-all.
The pear in combination with the vetiver and vanilla ensures that the fragrance smells more than unique on my skin. I recognize here also no connection to LVEB or otherwise.
Ironically, I actually associate this fragrance with the Disney classic of the same name, as the scent has the elegance of the beautiful Belle and the sillage of a beast. I am quite sure that I would not want to miss this olfactory masterpiece from now on and not only because it was a gift from my better half

Hope dies last
In 2013, a friend of mine bought her first "expensive" designer fragrance. After an overnight party, she sprayed two spritzes of Trésor on her neck in the morning. I was seriously impressed and couldn't believe that she would spray such an expensive perfume on her neck in the morning - without any special occasion. So, since I was 13, I knew this fragrance and always thought it was something unapproachably noble. I was wrong! So, wallowing in nostalgia, I recently ordered this fragrance using a voucher I got for Christmas and euphorically sprayed myself with it. I wasn't grossed out, but the desired wow effect still didn't happen. Now as I walked down to the kitchen where I met my mother, I was unfortunately forced to see Trésor's true face. "Jana what fragrance are you wearing? ... It's really not your scent honey. Don't you think this is more of a perfume for older ladies?". Gradually a feeling of disillusionment spread through me and when now my friend also said that I "smell like a granny", it was completely enough for me. Unfortunately, Trésor and I are no longer friends. The scent only reminds me of an 87 year old lady from the nursing home where I work part-time. I would have liked you so much, Trésor, but the two of us...that's not going to happen.
