"Je suis la Noire de Chanel...
... and anyone who doesn't realize that is out of luck."
Now this wonderful fragrance has moved in with me.
Zesty and slightly fresh in the opening, he shows shortly thereafter, where it goes. To the dark side of the moon. Or even to the dark side of the earth. So to the evening or to the night.

I've noticed that some don't see the scent as "noir" at all, and that's perfectly fine. I guess everyone perceives it differently. Compared but to many other bright fresh and cheerful Chanel fragrances, which I was allowed to test so far, but this is definitely "noir": something dark, mystical and spicy, without being (semi-)floriental, such as Coco (Mademoiselle). The high concentration of patchouli certainly has no small part in this. Those who know Coco Mademoiselle will recognize the finely balanced patch in Coco Noir. Nevertheless, both perfumes are very different.

Coco Noir is not necessarily the classic all-rounder with me, but fits for me especially well in the evening, for fancy dining, cocktail drinking but also for more special formal occasions. It underlines the elegant wardrobe.
If I wear him times during the day (as today, for example), then simply because I just totally feel like the fragrance. Otherwise, it fits through its fine heaviness also very well in the colder season.
On me he holds about 7-8 hours, which I feel is quite sufficient. Well perceptible I am for my fellow men also, without me slaying them.

It's also one of the Chanels that doesn't make me feel older or more mature than I am. I'm sure it can be worn well by men too, as it's neither sweet nor too floral

Another Paco
Paco Rabanne's perfumes are known for being top note catchers. As most people know, this is the name given to those perfume bottles that are attractively presented in attractive flacons and are supposed to elicit a delighted "wow" from the tester when first sprayed. This "wow" should ensure that the tester becomes a buyer within a short time. And that without ever having smelled the heart note of the perfume.

A good example is Pure XS, which smells wonderfully like popcorn and ylang-ylang on opening, but after about an hour smells like an indefinable mixture. Not that that's incredibly bad, but for me there needs to be more.

Similarly with the classic Olympea, after the first spray, one perceives benevolently (or not, depending on taste), the salty vanilla note, which gives Olympea quite recognizable. Only happens here unfortunately the same, after 3 hours I smell only vanilla mixture.

It seems to have gone probably many so, because with Olympea Intense this "problem" no longer occurs. Granted, the salt vanilla is not as beautifully pronounced here as in the original, but - it is there! And it's there from the beginning to the end. And that time span is easily 10 hours for me. That's right, that's how long this scent lasts on me! Longer than some niche fragrances.

I like the powdery vanilla, slightly salty scent so much that I wear the perfume significantly more often than I had actually planned. Thanks to Graumarkt, I received the beautiful first bottle from 2017, with the rose gold trim and the brown stone look in the lid.

For me, by far the best Paco Rabanne fragrance, where more is present than just a great top note

Sweet happy marshmallow
A nice "Pffft" on the wrist is quickly sprayed. But what is it? I mean, it... it says the top note is mostly orange blossom absolute. But what orange blossom absolute in the world smells SO sweet?! Well, I think this is where "the marshmallow" does the trick. I notice it from the beginning, even if only in the background. After a few minutes, it smells less floral to me, more marshmallowy. I know, there is no such word. So what.

As the scent completely unfolds, I smell: strawberry marshmallows! Namely, the ones you could get in Florida (and I'm sure some other states) in the 2000s at any Wallmart in the red and white 1-KG bag.
Possibly why I associate this perfume with "happy vibes".

And yes, I said the perfume was very sweet. It is. Nevertheless, not to compare with sweet perfumes such as "candy", "Scandal" and how they are all called. Because with those, the sweetness gums up my nose. In an unpleasant way. With this Kilian, that doesn't happen. Because the sweetness is rather subtle, although present.

Good mood pleasing? Then "pfft" "pfft", don`t be shy and love it!

"Delina, Delina, Delina....
... ti voglio al più presto sposar".

Now, of course, I know that Rocco Granata actually dedicated that song line to Marina, not Delina. And, of course, a perfume is (thankfully) not marriageable. Name-wise, though, it would fit the song perfectly.

What's so special about Delina, anyway? What's different about Delina than standard rose fragrances?
For me: rhubarb! Yes, there are numerous scents that start fruity and evolve into floral. However, these fragrances are often either too sweet for me and / or you can hardly recognize the fruit variety or they smell too classic, too soapy, too interchangeable.

Delina, on the other hand, I recognize, if a girl walks past me wearing Delina, I smell it immediately.

The rhubarb is here so well-dosed that the slightly sour note is not penetrating, but still remains completely in the fragrance.

A brief comparison with Delina Exclusif: According to PDM, the Exclusiv variant is simply the going out and evening variant of Delina. In fact, I also find it too tart, pungent, unpleasant for daytime. In the evening, however, when the makeup is more, the dress is fancier/sexier and the location is right, Delina Exclusif makes its appearance. But also only then.

The "normal" Delina, on the other hand, is an all-rounder, every season, at home, at work, on a date. Always appropriate, always on fleek.

For me an incredible fragrance, very thoughtful, present, with appropriate sillage, no danger (at normal dosage) to slay his fellow men.

Nice to have her move in with me today. We are sure to become good friends.

Classically beautiful
That's the first thing that comes to mind about this - in my opinion very successful - perfume.

After spraying on, it smells sweetly fruity, without annoying headache stickiness. The pear comes out very nicely, similar to "La Belle" by JPG, but as I said, less sweet.

In the course, the pear remains present, but moves more into the background and wonderful modern (!) Floral notes come to the fore. "Modern" I emphasize because many flowery perfumes that contain floral notes or even extracts can smell very quickly "yesterday", or even heavy or turgid. Or, however, boring.
Not so this one, for me it smells round, balanced, classic and yet not arbitrary. Since he is not heavy in the course and - like so many currently trendy fragrances - does not drift into the vanilla, he is also wonderfully suitable for the summer. The fragrance can be worn all year round in any case.

I see the fragrance on a naturally beautiful young woman who attaches importance to their appearance, without wanting to stand out at any cost.

A - once again - very successful fragrance by Givenchy and a good proof that even designer fragrances "what can"
