Inspired by the fragrance descriptions of so many, I had to try him, the Herod.
Was looking for a tobacco / vanilla fragrance, which smells natural and my "scent pattern", the memory of a DDR pipe tobacco "Prestige vanilla" which I liked very much, comes close.
What can I say, have been found.
My nose smells mainly vanilla, tobacco and cinnamon, in addition initially something sweet fruity, for me fortunately nix with cherry. Also have no association in the direction of Sisha bar, which may be because I was not yet in one ;-) and also nix what me immediately beamt on the Christmas market.
The scent radiates warmth and security, he is and remains there for many hours. Take him even very long, perceived in a pleasant dosage and in the last part always times thrust at movements. From this and the fact that I have never found nasal murmur with my fellow men, I conclude that the sillage and the scent fits overall. No "Haudrauf here am only I" - fragrance.
Could me also imagine the ladies.
For a better assessment I have tested in parallel still the Tobacco Vanilla by Tom Ford.
I also like very well.
Here I smell mainly vanilla and tobacco, both by the way as with the competitor for my terms very natural. Not a trace of "Duftbäumchenvanille".
The slightly fruity is missing here, comes across a little drier, more masculine. And for me no bischen sweet in the sense of Gourmand.
Smells just as class, if you like this direction. Try out!
Durability and sillage also 1st category.
After 10 hours on the paper strip, I could hardly keep both apart.
Bottom line, therefore, photo finish what the fragrance as such concerns.
That with me the Herod has made the race, is due to the addition of the price and also the flacon. In the latter makes the Herod clearly the first, if I think only of the, for this price range, shabby plastic cap on the sprayer of TF.

Expectations can be exceeded, met or disappointed. The former and the latter should hardly happen, if you have "asked around" here a little. On the whole, it applies.
The fragrance is an Immergeher, should hardly cause offence since restrained, still perceptible and on the street no one will turn around after you, if you wear this fragrance.
And if so, then it is probably not the fragrance. ;-)
Spicy - woody I find accurate, a pleasant fragrance of the vast majority is certainly perceived so.
Who equates good perfumes (only) with interesting perfumes and interesting only with the products of, for example, Zoologist goes, which is certainly not happy with the fragrance and shuddering turn away whether the "0815" DNA (and do him wrong). And who does not like the EdT already in general, too.
Speaking of DNA. I mean the Boss Bottled DNA is also here to recognize. Only the apple is missing (I know, it is indicated under the top note). So who is the apple in the EdT initially too cheeky, the EdP possibly like better or at all. Still, I wouldn't completely deny it any fruitiness, there it is somewhere, the apple. He is in the middle as well as out the back soft, somehow warm (one must therefore not wait for the winter, perhaps only the Ü30Temperaturen let through), harmoniously halt.
Which ingredient is responsible for this, no idea. I try only to describe how the fragrance smells and not why. And even that I succeed only - well insufficiently (?), at least if someone really never had Boss Bottled under the nose.
I like both, find it also not automatically negative if a fragrance quite many like and is older than months ;-)) For people who just want to smell good, worth a test.
As for H / S I find him perfectly adequate, not better than the original, where I find the H / S in the original and for an eau de toilette already really good.
