What is that?!
...I thought to myself when I sprayed the light brown liquid on my arm. Honestly, I'm still relatively new to the oud world ( fragrances like Oud Noir I count only conditionally, since they will not contain real oud ), but the really surprised me. And in the first moment really not positive, it stinks like manure, especially when you smell the sprayed spot. Since I like to test fragrances with my brother, since he has no idea of the perfume world and thus completely neutral sowas can evaluate, he was allowed to smell it. According to him riechts shortly afterm spraying after cow dung, I understand. 10 minutes later he comes into the room and says that it smells much better now, and I agree. The scent smells really not pleasant directly on the skin especially in the opening, but in the air it doesn't smell nearly as harsh as you would think, in the room you can smell a woody leather note, still slightly animalic, but just slightly ( thankfully ). After half an hour, the "fragrance cloud" is already quite pleasant, the forearm still net to sniff, and he will only after an hour. Definitely something new, you really do not smell every day and in a Douglas you will not find something like this ( unless I missed something :).

H/S: 8&9/10
The durability is very good, the fragrance lasts a long time on the skin, without noticeably weakening ( except for the animalic part, which weakens on my skin after about an hour ). Really worth mentioning here, however, is the sillage, you fill pretty easy small rooms and is definitely noticed, so who likes attention will not come up short with this fragrance. H/S thus very good.

Flacon: 8/10
Very simple, minimalist almost, modern, tendency to boring. So I would describe the Dior bottle, I understand that there are lovers for this, after all, not everything has to look like the rather flashy Mugler creations. Magnetic lid and the exceptionally good Dior atomizer are of course nice to have, on the other hand, I would not really expect less at over 200 euros.

Wearability: 5/10
Definitely not a fragrance for everyone, almost exclusively masculine I would say, only for cold weather and special occasions, because in the office or at school this is a weapon. Would him because of the performance and the fragrance itself rather wear outside, in ( especially small ) rooms he quickly becomes annoying. PLEASE do not order blindly, unless you already have extensive experience with the scent, otherwise you could expect eime nasty surprise. Would I recommend rather carriers Ü30, I'm there estimated simply too young :D

Price: 7/10
That was for me the hardest part: the price. 220 euros are of course ne hefty sum, especially for me as a student is unaffordable and therefore difficult to evaluate, but I would say who likes such a kind of fragrance, it is worth the money. Because it smells special in any case, long also and one is noticed with it on definitely, there is no way around it, even with a sprayer one is anything but unauffälig. In addition, both bottle and perfume seems very high quality, synthetic elements are not really noticeable, I also get a headache net of it, as it is for example with His Majesty The Oud the case. Therefore award times cautiously ne 7/10.

Conclusion: 8/10
Very cool experience, again something new, should smell in my eyes everyone times, even if you do not consider a purchase. I myself am unsure whether I could wear such a fragrance, but I appreciate the perfume and I would smell the someone he would ( or she, although that would really surprise me ) definitively get a compliment from me.

Licorice Sauvage
In three Douglas visits, the fragrance was offered to me 4 times, and now that I have a sample I can also finally write a review about it.

Fragrance: 7,5/10
The opening is first very sweet, for me almost too sweet, synthetic and just not mine. Little brother finds the opening super, no wonder, the also finds Joop Homme very great, the sweetness in the opening is no longer far away (according to him). Here there are no traces of the sharp, peppery bergamot start of Sauvage EDT, the opening is quite gentle, the scent changes very little in the course, the sweetness is eventually bissl less. After about half an hour, the licorice comes in, which doesn't appear in the other Sauvage variants, it's very reminiscent of licorice snails from the brand with the golden bear, sweet and fruity licorice. I find this part actually quite youthful, I absolutely don't understand the comments of the kind "oldschool scent" and "rather for older people", sweet liquorice-ambroxan scent is nothing old after all, besides that my brother and his friends quite like it, for many older people it will just be too sweet. It's only after some time that the ambroxan comes into play, and this is where the Sauvage DNA becomes relatively easy to detect. The scent is definitely not bad, but don't expect any new experiences here, I find it to be a stronger Sauvage Parfum variant with licorice.

H/S: 9&7/10
The durability is of course very good here, it already was with the Parfum variant and Elixir is supposed to last even longer, it does, on my skin about 9-10 hours, the sweet and relatively heavy licorice definitely helps in this aspect. What surprised me: the sillage is not even that strong, who expects a projection monster here should rather buy the EDT, Elixir lasts forever, but is not strongly perceptible to others. 1.5 hours after spraying on you are occasionally still perceived when passing, but after that the scent is quite close to the skin and is only noticed in close proximity, so not bad, but would have expected it stronger.

Flacon: 9/10
Sauvage bottle in chunky, small and round, heavy dark glass, magnetic lid and sprayer in fantastic Dior quality. Here gibts little to criticize, the quality top, optics vllt a little boring.

Price-performance: 5/10
Sure, the fragrance lasts a long time and the bottle is well made, but is quite synthetic and the sillage also leaves much to be desired, besides, it is nothing new. At 140 euros for 60ml we are at niche prices for a designer, my expectations are there logically very high, Dior has the means to make fpr this price a fantastic perfume, and that's just not it. There are simply a lot of better fragrances that cost less than 200 euros for 100ml.

Conclusion: Solid, very sweet fragrance for the colder season, price but much too high.

Noir? Yes. Extreme? I don't know.
I have often smelled the fragrance in stores, on a friend and from my sample, and was each time ambivalent about whether I should get the. There is a lot going for it, in an elegant bottle you find a light, spicy gourmand scent with solid durability and mass appeal. I detect mostly amber, vanilla and nutmeg here, smells a bit like a sweet pastry. What this scent always reminds me of is Spicebomb Extreme, which I also own. The spicy, gourmand sweetness is already quite similar here, though despite the name, the Extreme isn't nearly as spicy, intense, or strong. The Ford is more mellow, understated and not quite as Christmassy, tobacco absent. This is also reflected in the longevity and sillage: while the scent stays on the skin for a relatively long time ( about 6,5-7 hours for me ), the sillage is really not strong, you can only smell it near the wearer, room-filling goes differently, but is also not the point of it. Although I detest the term cuddly scent, it applies here quite well, in the vicinity you perceive the warm sweetness very pleasant. However, it never came to the purchase, and that for several reasons: first, there would be the just mentioned performance: if I want to buy an expensive perfume, it should also have a decent H / S. Doesn't have to fill a room or stick to me for 4 days, but over 100 euros I just expect something else. Then there is the quality: sure, smells pleasant, but can not imagine that there is much natural, he seems to me already quite synthetic, which just goes better. And the last point: for me it's just not spicy enough, the spices quickly fade into the background and stay there, a shame really. Looking at my arguments here, it's clear why I went for Spicebomb Extreme: much better H/S, more spice and a Christmasy feel, which just warms the nose in the cold months. In addition, I got the 90ml grenade for under 70 euros, while you get the Tom Ford hardly under 100, so for me also not an unimportant criterion.

Now to the headline and thus the name: Noir Extreme. I do not understand. When you read the word Extreme, you expect superlatives at least in some category, in vain. The fragrance is neither particularly "Noir", clear he is not fresh, but dark smell he still does not really, nor long-lasting or strongly projecting (there pulls the Spicebomb miles past). Why the name was chosen so I do not know, very likely marketing, besides the normal TF Noir darker, more unique and with a ( on me of course ) better H/S is provided.

Wearability: absolutely unisex, absolutely for all ages. There are no aspects here that steer the fragrance in a masculine or feminine direction, just as little in a certain minimum age. Teenagers should be able to wear this just as well as older people, so a big bonus point here. In addition, it should be said that it is a clear cold-weather fragrance, in the summer you will celebrate at most wasps for this fragrance.

Conclusion: a weaker alternative to Spicebomb Extreme for me, but very pleasant and easy to wear. However, who expects "dark" DNA, should rather devote himself to the TF Noir, which fulfills its name.

Bitter herb mixture with pomelo
At the beginning I would like to thank Narcoperfume for the sample, was once again ne cool experience.

The opening is first quite sharp and pungent, not necessarily pleasant, smells for me bissl after window cleaner, but that lays after about 2 minutes. The slight fresh sharpness remains, however, first, could very well be due to the pomelo, which I can smell here very long. Just the pomelo makes the fragrance interesting, you definitely do not smell every day. After about 20 minutes, the spiciness settles and it remains the pomelo with vetiver, pepper and possibly hemp, which one smells but (at least on my skin) very weak and you have to think him rather to. From here on the scent is very linear, fresh, green, herbaceous and a little citrusy, quite pleasant, but not really special, which you kind of expect with the brand and the called price, which is now not really low. Sure, not every fragrance must necessarily break the frame and differ from all other works, but then you do not need to pay Ü100 euros to experience such a scent and quality. Connected to this is also the point with the H/S: on me it is very comparable to Coolwater, is indeed for a fresh fragrance relatively long on the skin, at no time it is really noticeable to others, even after spraying on you can smell me only at a distance of half a meter, so do not expect a blatant performance here. Advantage of the fragrance: wearable for everyone, would also claim unisex, nothing really seems super masculine here, the scent is light and relatively modern, although I would also claim that it has a slight vintage touch, especially in the late drydown you smell a herbaceous freshness that reminds me of aftershave.

Conclusion: solid fresh herbaceous spring and summer fragrance with mediocre performance, whether the price is justified for one must know each for himself.

Noble spice blend or rather shower gel scent?
Let me start by saying that this is the first Dior Privee I've had the pleasure of smelling. Thanks to a sample my enthusiasm was ignited, have heard of the perfumes of this collection many good things, and with the name Spice Blend I had high hopes, because I'm a big fan of spicy scents, for example Spicebomb I think is a wonderful fragrance, especially for the price. Now to have a luxury version of it sounds pretty damn good, and at the price that Dior is asking here, you should really expect something.
The flacon is beautiful, valuable and just Dior-typical, here you can find little to criticize, except that it turns out very minimalist for the price. So, and that's actually already with the positive aspects.

Although the scent smells pleasant, spices and ginger smells one actually quite easy out, no trace of rum. After 20 minutes, you already notice that the fragrance noticeably weakens, the projection is not remarkable at any time. If you go close to his hand, you sniff a gentle spice blend, in my eyes a little comparable to Spicebomb, only about 10 times weaker, but pleasant nonetheless. My brother, who is not familiar with perfumes, said that it smells like spicy shower gel, I do not feel quite so, the description I find allerdngs not completely inappropriate.

But now to the biggest problem: the price. How to offer such a fragrance with dermaßend mauen performance for such money I just do not understand. There are fragrances for 30 euros, which smell so and have a better performance, for me one of the biggest perfume disappointments ever, I really hoped for a lot. It can of course always be that the performance is only on my skin underground, but a coach-for-men durability in a Dior Privee fragrance.... Sure you could now bring up that the price is justified by the natural smell, sure, smells maybe n tick more natural than Spicebomb, but the H/S and especially price are ridiculous, honestly no idea who gets something like that and why.
