Skiing in Aspen
Last weekend I had the pleasure to test the new TF Soleil Neige at the big, turquoise "D".
I was told beforehand to imagine the following: "They are almost knee-deep in the snow and are walking slowly and hard up a mountain. However, it is not a mountain in nowhere, but they are in Aspen, not far from luxurious hotels and the smell of the small shops in the village. When they finally reach the top, the sun rises directly in front of you".
On the one hand I found the performance not bad, on the other hand I was surprised by the dedication of the salesman when explaining the fragrance ^^
Short and sweet... I'm with him when the sun shines, but not necessarily with the rest. It smells suspiciously like this Hawaiian sun cream (Tropic Silk is the name, I think), but with a subtle sweetness of vanilla underneath. However, the fragrance is not heavy, but pleasantly light and to a certain extent fresh. I personally like it very, very much. However, the scent on my hand was no longer noticeable after about 3 hours, let alone to other people
Besides, it is really outrageous in price (as far as I remember it was 407€/100ML). In principle, the same to Lost Cherry and for a Cherry-Coke/Dr. Pepper fragrance, I do not spend more than 400€ but this only off-topic.

It is praised as unisex and in this case it is very true! Soleil Blanc is often referred to as a women's fragrance (I can't say anything about this, as I have never smelled it before) and as a flanker of this one, I also assumed that Soleil Neige is a feminine fragrance, but as a man you can wear it very well.

Scent is great, Sillage and durability less, price is outrageous.

Hmmm...Apple strudel
Hello dear Community,
thanks to our colleague Maxiking I got the pleasure of a sample of PDM Herod (thanks again :-)
Basically I should mention that I am rather enthusiastic about fresh, woody-spicy fragrances, but the very good rating of 8.8!!! caused me to try this fragrance once. Furthermore, the week before I had had good experiences with TX Noir Extreme.
Already the first spray made me think immediately of dark chocolate, vanilla and tobacco, but there was something else...something I couldn't classify, but I felt very familiar with.
Throughout the day I had to smell my wrist again and again (which in itself is a very good sign that I like a perfume ^^ ). It wouldn't let go of me and I tried to remember where I thought this fragrance came from.
In my eyes there are some fragrances that go in this direction - much cheaper than PDM, mind you - but Herod has something about him that makes him special.
This pleasant sweet, this pleasant feeling...everything is perfect all around for a fragrance of this variety.
The night before going to bed it struck me like lightning...APFELSTRUDEL WITH VANILLESOßE!!! Surely you rarely find tobacco in apple strudel but it has matched 1 to 1!!
There are definitely worse foods to smell of and I've never had a perfume that comes so close to apple strudel with vanilla sauce.
In short...a great fragrance!!

Old but gold
Here now my first, official comment and this one I dedicate to Creed Himalaya. The fragrance may be a bit outdated and certainly there are cheaper alternatives (although also Creed fragrances like Himalaya and GIT are often "cheap" to have) but this is one of my current favorite fragrances and has been for some time. The effect the Himalaya has on my sensation, I know so or so similarly only from GIT...this fresh, clear, slightly powdery head note...this feeling of purity. As soon as I put on this fragrance, I always feel like I have a fresh shower and it awakens a feeling of cleanliness and positive charisma in me. Surely the people around me will not perceive me as I do, but this fragrance promises some compliments and lasts between 6-8 hours. The silage, however, is only noticeable in the first 2-3 and afterwards...I am "alone" again with this heavenly scent. Still, a fantastic fragrance! If you can get him cheap, he'll do well in any collection.

Ps. I'm still working on my perfume poetry, so with my first comment I just tried to express my "feelings" about this perfume :-)
