I can finally commit myself
I am a huge fan of oriental fragrances and brands. On the one hand there are the absolutely excellent prices and for these few talers there are high quality perfumes and parallel to that smells, which are seldom smelled in our lands and thus prove the uniqueness.
In this case, Al Haramain gives the world little that is unique, but copies as best it can, according to the overwhelming majority, the so-called "pantydropper" Aventus, whom a Borat would probably call a "pussy magnet".
A fragrance that falls into the hands of a young Casanova like me like a ripe fruit and triggers a wave of compliments, kisses and more from the ladies?
What, only 300 Euro is the price for the very perfume that evaporates faster than my dreams & perspectives? Give it to me. NO WAY! (okay, enough with the Borat references.)

Nevertheless, the Aventus has certainly earned its status; but for youngsters like me it is priceless and even a small sample would trigger a second 1929 in my account. A dupe was needed, and after a few hours of research and brooding, the decision was made in favour of the L'aventure from Al Haramain instead of the CDNI. In the end, the reason was that the latter perfume should be much more suitable for everyday use and much cheaper
Ordered for 30 Euronen at Notino, after a few days waiting it was time and I was allowed to unpack the fragrance. I also like to admit that I have never before approached a perfume with such expectations and hopes. After all, I was absolutely convinced that I would add an original panty dropper to my collection - or at least a dupe... or at least to find out what the Aventus smells like and whether L'aventure lives up to its good ratings.

Perfume sprayed on, the citric top note, which is strongly hated here, stings my nose and overwhelms me. But now butter to the fish: whoever writes here about similarities to toilet cleaners or other things, exaggerates mMn excessively. The top note smells like a typical cheap, below-average citrus scent that you have smelled everywhere before. Nothing good, but not even close to a reason to rate this perfume badly or to assume parallels to chlorine cleansers. Even if it is meant smugly. So far so below average.
Now we come to the drydown... which was disappointing at first. Yeah, fresh, woodsy-citric scent... that's it? Those two words were in my head all day and all the next few days. That's it? That's the l'aventure? That's the aventus-duper? Is that the Aventus smell? I paid 30 euros for this? Is that the smell of 8.2 points on perfume? But as so often with perfumes, patience is a must.
The smell is excellent. The first time I was disappointed, the second time satisfied and the third time enthusiastic.
This Drydown, this wonderful mix of citrus wood has an oriental aftershave vibe. Doesn't sound special at all and the L'aventure is also very uncomplicated with an even more uncomplicated scent. But this transition from pungent citrus blend to a light, incredibly fresh, citrus-woody-smokey scent is the reason why my disappointment has turned and I just love this perfume.
A perfume for men who know what they want. Not for teenagers, whether 18, 30 or 50, this fragrance expresses strength, determination, but also sympathy, calm and respect. A masculine fragrance for people who are always calm, who know their own worth and do not have to prove anything. Who DO NOT need "pantydroppers".
Durability and Sillage: Strong and good. I did indeed spray two splashes on a shirt about a month ago. The scent doesn't fill the whole room anymore, but just the fact that it still smells strong when you sniff the sleeve with your nose shows what power it has. On my skin it smells good for 8 hours, from then on it becomes rather weak and from 12 hours on you don't smell anything anymore. But for this price absolutely strong and more you don't have to expect or need more anyway. Sillage seems to me to be very tidy too. No beast, but you are well noticed. If you ignore the price, you cannot say anything wrong about H&S. Just good+.
I am very curious to see how the fragrance will smell in the summer, when it generally fits better. If it then increases even more, then I am also very willing to raise the rating.
Oh, a few final words about the flacon... very chic, cap unfortunately stinks and fingerprints stay on the silver. However, a very chic box is included, hence the great rating of 8 points from me.

Short summary: little money, opening tolerable but not good, 30 minutes after the first spray the spectacle begins and a very good scent remains for a long time.

I would be very happy about comments, if anyone has read this article so far!

Douglas, give me back my 50 euros
I have fond memories of a school trip back to Berlin in December 2018.
The 3 most beautiful days in many, many years, which were unfortunately disastrous for me. Such is life.
Accompanying me was a faithful 3.50 Euro scent from the net discounter I trust, 850km away from Berlin. As a layman every synthetic groats seems to be fragrant and pleasant. So be it.
About a month later I stumbled upon Jeremy Fragrance, watched some of his videos and without further ado decided to finally smell good. Versace Eros was a scent that he hyped to death then and now.

100ml for 55 euros? Give it to me! One day I was tested at the Douglas, enchanted, ordered and suddenly I was amazed at the scent I got. Astounded, I read on the Internet where there were many reports of a reformulation. Haven't I done enough research?
Back to the Douglas, have the scent changed to find out at home that my disappointment has not subsided on the second attempt.
What hadded jelegen? Performance strong, bottle nice, synthetic scent up to the point of being impossible, even the dreamlike vanilla in the drydown was just... well. Until today I am of the opinion that there was a different batch available as a tester at the Douglas, otherwise I cannot explain these differences.
Whether the fragrance is reformulated or not, I cannot confirm, only suspect. What remains is a half-full perfume after two years, although my parents often sprayed it lavishly. My first sensible perfume purchase and the first bad buy.

I myself have not touched it for quite some time, for months I even forgot where it was hiding. At the moment it is lying in the back of my perfume collection, dusty (literally!) and untouched for a long time. It's a pity that it had to end up like this between Eros and me, but there was no other choice. Arrivederci Eros into the depths of my closet.

Sauvage's sympathetic twin
"Hey, Juicer, you wearing Dior Sovaatsch?"

- "Yes," I reply without being ashamed for even a second. In fact, differences in scent can only be smelled with a magnifying glass. And perfume laymen or 98% of the German population will undoubtedly consider the writer to be the original.
Dior Sauvage's twin, slightly weaker, slightly worse, but much cheaper. Who would say no? After all, Sauvage, even if overhyped, is a good perfume that you have to have in your collection somehow.
Will I then leave the house of Dior with all its advertisements and Johnny Depp's successful performances a relatively large amount of money? No thanks.
Do I get the Writer, which is an above average perfume overall and for a ridiculous price? Oh yes!

After all, as a student you always have to watch your wallet. And you want to smell nice, too. :)

18,85 Euro = pure pleasure
I'm admittedly not a fragrance expert and this is my first and therefore modest comment on a perfume. At the same time, I should prepare for my English exam tomorrow, but since I have a formidable command of English and I was so enthusiastic about Rasasi Dareej pour Homme, I dedicate the next five minutes to a short evaluation of this fragrance.
First of all, it can be said that I have made a blind purchase with the Dareej pH. For 18,85 Euro + shipping costs you take a less big risk - but the reviews here and there are praise enough for the fragrance, so you don't have to worry about how the perfume smells.

The first sprayer was quite surprising for me, as I could not get anything out of the initial scent. It was not bad, but the quality was not exactly as promised. The Dareej also felt unpleasant, more like a heavy, harsh and severe scent. But the irritations subsided after not even half an hour, when the scent developed and smelled very powdery for the rest of the day. However, good!

After several applications the following conclusion can be drawn: 1A.
More and more I notice a sweetness next to the ever decreasing powder, which harmonizes very well with the remaining notes. For me as a 19-year-old perfume newcomer, the fragrance is sexy and attractive, it's definitely oriental, but pleasant enough that you can spray it almost anywhere and you won't bother anyone with it. On the contrary - I currently assume that you will take home compliments with the perfume.
It is easy to make others believe that the fragrance is from Valentino, Versace or Dior - the fragrance is unique and of good quality...

...and with me a beast. Strong projection for several hours is guaranteed, can be smelled on the skin for at least 12 hours and up to 6-8 hours can be perceived by others in a conversation without problems. I emphasize the "me", as it can of course always vary. With me, for example, aquatic scents last for a few minutes rather than hours, but in return, the Dareej does not let me down and provides me with a strong and lasting scent during the whole day.
Moreover: it is generally known that this perfume is very strong and has a long shelf life. So you don't have to worry in this sector.

Price: Well. Further proof that at Douglas you don't have to put green on the table to smell exceptionally good and have a strong perfume. Rasasi delivers a first-class, strong and unique fragrance and is satisfied (at least at Notino) with not even 20 Euros for a 100ml bottle (which is admittedly very simple).
So my next perfume will most likely also come from Rasasi.

Blind buy worthy? Yes. The vast majority will give the scent at least a 2, I'm sure
