Blood orange kisses pepper and lavender - exciting but strongly polarizing
Kalan opens with a very present blood orange, followed by lots of sweet notes. The opening of the fragrance can seem a bit tart at first, but then transitions into a gentle, even pleasure.
In the finish, the initially over-present blood orange fades and makes way for lavender, which is caressed by an orange blossom.

As the fragrance progresses, woods and moss join in. This is where the real potential of the fragrance ignites and its very polarizing quality in my opinion. The subtle blood orange is greatly affected by the moss, but is still noticeable. I know many people who dislike the moss note and therefore devalue the fragrance. Personally, I find that this is precisely what creates the distinctive character of the harmonious composition.

The fragrance has been criticized a lot, but slowly it gets the attention it deserves. In my opinion, it is a very unique and exciting composition that complements the range of Parfums de Marly wonderfully. Longevity and sillage are above average, the fragrance is ubiquitous in a good way. It is more suitable for colder seasons and casual wear, but with a bit of courage it can be worn in the office as well. The bottle is Marly-typically very noble and with its fiery red color a real eye-catcher on the shelf.

A fragrance for all who like sweet scents with a slightly fruity impact and feel attracted to woody notes. Absolutely (longer) test to understand him and give a chance. The top note may well be off-putting.

The gentle blend of aventus, hacivat and ani with a hint of vanilla
Imperium by Electimuss is certainly one of the unknowns when it comes to the "Aventus inspired" fragrance. "Aventus inspired" sounds at first disrespectful, unoriginal and boring, but this fragrance manages what many of the others before him have not: He is a meaningful development of the basic formula.

While Orion, Hacivat, Explorer, Esencia (All from my point of view great fragrances) a new component in the top note and want to stand out and Club de Nuit Intense and L'Aventure are rather favorable images, the Imperium goes a new way. Through the heart notes of oud and vanilla, it softens the otherwise sharp top note and manages to create a unique aura just in the course of the fragrance, which I have not yet been allowed to smell so.

The almost addictive drydown stands out clearly from the brother with the smoky pineapple and is much milder, less intrusive but no less demanding. But enough of Aventus, because besides the top note, which comes across much more citrus (Sure, is also bergamot and coriander with in it, goes more in the direction of Hacivat) the two share no common ground.

Imperium has a great concept and has the reputation of a Doupes definitively not deserved. The fragrance is so thought out and polished that you can immediately tell that an absolute professional was at work. This concept is also reflected in the great packaging and the bottle, which comes against every expectation unspeakably heavy and noble. The perfume gives one from opening the package to the application to the really good (although not excellent, but that fits then again into the concept) durability an unspeakable feeling of luxury and charm.

Imperium is for me a hidden champion for the colder summer days, autumn and the occasions on which you want to stand out. I recommend it to test this fragrance absolutely the whole day and not only the top note to evaluate, because just in the 3 Dimensionalen fragrance development is the magic of this wonderful perfume.

EDIT: I don't know if it's just me but in the drydown I smell a certain similarity to Rojas Enigma (a fragrance I adore). I assume this comes from the vanilla in conjunction with the bergamot. The scents smell definitv not the same but share similarities.

The Bad boy fragrance for those who don't want to be a bad boy
It's a thing with Fahrenheit, if you see him standing on a crowded, well-assorted fragrance shelf, your gaze often wanders over him and gets stuck on a modern, fresh, safe fragrance.
Every now and then, however, he wanders back to the beautiful, red-orange mottled iconic bottle and a question arises. Am I ready for Fahrenheit today?
Admittedly the fragrance is not a fragrance that can be called ''everybody's darling''. It corners, consciously and determinedly, almost as if it wants to challenge the wearer to approach the leathery, deep scent with self-confidence and not to be led by the opinion of strangers.

If you dare, however, you will be rewarded with such a unique fragrance, which is a statement in itself. It is one of those fragrances that is designed to reinforce memories and, when a whiff is accidentally perceived, a face of forgotten times appears.
For me, the fragrance stands for a balmy summer evening, just warm enough, but not too warm to wear a leather jacket, enjoying the last sunrays of the past day, slightly alcoholized to welcome the natural lethargy of the evening.
It's one of those scents that you're not supposed to like, but you always find yourself taking a breeze because you just can't get away from it. Comparable to the smell of a new car or a leather shoe up to a felt crayon.
The fragrance touches on a deep level, if you smell it with another person you are immediately captured, briefly paralyzed and nostalgically wallowing in memories.
Yes, Fahrenheit is not a fragrance for everyday life or the first job interview and yes the wearer needs a certain self-confidence to wear it, but even in 2020 there is no other fragrance for me that can satisfy this unique combination.
The starch and silage are also above average. Applied in the morning, even after a long day, until evening a wave of the sweetish scent blows into your nose without ever being too intrusive and without changing its basic essence.
I can only recommend to everyone to try this fragrance and let it work. The top note can be a bit daunting at first and definitely doesn't compete with the modern, attention-grabbing, pleasant-trimmed scents in the boutiques.
However, if you get involved with this creedibile, honest scent, you get to know a friend who is always there for you when you need him. A bad boy image to apply, for all those who don't really want to be a bad boy
